I am on ep 28 and it looks like only LJQ is excited about this marriage LOL. All the others including Lanxiang look pissed . But I do think Lanxiang can communicate with him instead of being angry, violent and resistant all the time

I know why he got the decree-I mean that was the only way he could marry a woman who was a slave and now a commoner. And I guess it seems fate is playing a cruel trick on Lanxiang. Catching up on ep 20- yep them getting together will be complicated . The ML’s mom has her ideas while Lanxiang’s parents are thinking about the scholar. I guess the girl has no say in the matter given the time we are talking about. Oh well let’s see what happens. But then I feel bad for the ML because- how is he going to accomplish this without pissing off his family or the FL!
