It’s not that everyone wants them to get together fast but I think it is very hard to have an ambiguous ‘friend’ relationship for that long. It was obvious that the ML has had feelings for her for a long time but I don think he is confident enough to tell her . She on the other hand had known it at a subconscious level- but i don’t know- sends mixed signals? To me it feels like both are dense and are kind of stuck . This can’t go on for too long - either he tells her or she finds someone else. This is just a really awkward situation. They are not platonic friends for sure and it’s taking a while to figure that out. I think the distance she has now created between them will help them see things clearly
