lol I did not men she just got it. All I said was that everyone is harping about her relationship woes but making a decision about that with cancer relapse looming in front of you is a little hard. She needs to be more honest with the ML rather than leading him on like this

Agreed! I don’t think relationship is her priority. The FL has more baggage than the ML. The ML just has been hung up on the FL but she never seems to have cared for him given that she was also going to marry someone else

That is why I am saying - everyone is hung up on her relationship woes. This drama may have an open ending. I understand she had stomach cancer - is in remission but it’s seems like there maybe a relapse. And the way she is eating and learning cooking- all these are telltale signs. I actually like that she is not giving hope to the ML

The ML is still oblivious to her situation even in episode 9 . I actually do not like that the FL his everything from her own family and friends. I do not like this behavior at all

lol your first paragraph - yes it is good to provide that disclaimer that you will not support this even if the FL does it because there is some distorted version of feminism going around among the commenters. And you are right if they were not rich would the woman bother ? I mean they seem to be encouraging a certain behavior in the female population. Rather than these women going after a decent man they churn out those crap. And that whole reform BS happens only in dramas

Exactly my point. It’s almost like these shows want women to regress from all that we have achieved as far as women’s rights are concerned. Yes I have some of those old shows/movies that I cannot watch anymore. Just showing that a woman should put up with a bully/abuser or a narcissistic cheater for the sake of love or kids or family is so wrong. And this whole trope that these men do a complete 180 and become good people. That is not even the reality. Very bad examples for empowering young women

Yes I found Boys over flowers very problematic even the first time around. The ML in that drama was very toxic- it was a toxic relationship that has been glorified as some epic romance. I was disappointed and disgusted too.
