LOL yeah we are probably going in the same direction here. I think here the FL is the one who is the enigma - not so much the ML. Yes they are both schemers but the FL has a more selfish intent for the scheming than the ML does . The ML definitely has a back story which will slowly unfold

Well I am on episode 8 and I can already see it. Even before that there were hints. He does pay attention to her every single time and even when you think he is ignoring her that is not the case. It is a very interesting dynamic and both the leads are not very likeable people LOL

I have just started watching and it is quite intriguing! Yeah Viki / Netflix should get this - the subtitles will be much better as well

Agree you have to watch the drama very carefully - cannot miss anything. Definitely not a binge watch drama

This is an interesting drama the way it is unfolding. It is very hard to develop a liking to any of the characters in this drama because every single one has their own agenda but having said that I am enjoying it

Yes her character in SOKP is very selfish, manipulative and morally ambiguous. It’s a fully dark character . It has a totally different feel - she borders on evil there. I am enjoying it -sure but the difference is chalk and cheese

BTW Bai Lu has such a morally ambiguous character in SOKP- LOL and people loved that? Amazing

I don’t watch dramas for steamy scenes- if they are a part of the story fine, if they were added just because the drama has no substance- then it’s a big no no for me. OFL with its not so perfect characterizations was very interesting. It was the story that captured me - not those steamy scenes. But the characters all felt so real and there was a lot of comedy even with some of the steamy scenes that it made me laugh. This is definitely not for teens or those in their early 20s who have a very bland pure view of love. 30 and above maybe

You know if you think about it there are a lot of us who own up to our mistakes - that definitely is very real. Plus it was also Shi Yan’s character that made it even more difficult. And yes she knew she was wrong for sure but did not know how to convince him

For sure- it’s too cliched and a non story

Unchained love was good and yes the characters were multidimentional. For someone who is so young at 24 Dylan Wang is a good actor
