Gap’s grievances were never LX’s fault - stop blaming LX for GAO’s situation . No one is responsible for taking care of your future career- Gao thought it was LX’s responsibility for some reason. Gao approached LX again and again and LX trusted a poisonous snake like him- that was his only fault

Nothing can justify what Gao did to Li Xun. People like Gao who blame someone else for their failures and mistakes are up to no good. Li Xun had his flaws but also had his principles. He took responsibility for himself and his actions. So yes I would prefer Li Xun who is actually harmless when compared to Gao- who really is a snake

I cant move on - non of the other shows measure up to this one.

Well you have to be a human and have bottom lines and boundaries and ZY did not want LX to be consumed by that hate and just stop doing the things that mattered. I think it was a good ending they still got what they wanted

I am not sure you can generalize and compare to other cliched dramas. This one was quite unique and pretty deep. It hits you real hard. So I disagree with your comments

Definitely this story is not for you- this is not. a quick and easy romance - much deeper than that

I like the fact that they created a realistic flawed/ damaged male rather than a perfect one (one of those who is agreeable to everything and treat the women as though they are so fragile-hate those the most).

Yes I loved the female’s character- for once they created a beautiful, smart, hardworking strong character - she never gives up . She comes into herself with Li Xun’s help. I would hold to him too if someone has that kind of effect on me

Agree Gao was bad from the beginning and he gets worse

Their love deserved a second chance for sure and I am glad the female was so determined. Li Xun treated her very well - no relationship for the long haul is easy- there are always hurdles and hurts to get through. I think he helped her grow professionally- financially??- there were no finances between them not sure what you are talking about. Zhu Yun is an emotionally strong woman and I admire her for that - she never gave up inspite the hurt- that’s only because she was confident that he loved her in spite of everything

Agree- Zhu Yun can be confident and be her true self only with Li Xun- which is not a surprise given the over bearing and abusive parents who never let her make any decision .

Please don’t generalize peoples reactions to drama or how they come across socially. Everyone is different. I have seen people who internalize everything and are loners like Li Xun and I have seen others who talk to people as though nothing happened

Teenagers should not be watching this drama because they are not emotionally developed to understand what a relationship is or what love is. If you love someone you embrace their flaws too and honestly no one is perfect. There are women who choose to love flawed men but like I said this story is for a more mature audience who have seen the world.
Li Xun actually respects and cherishes Zhu Yun a lot and he challenges her and contributes to her growth he did not want to drag her into the dark hole he was going into and that’s all that was. That is the reason she holds on to him even though he is flawed .
