that's who he took ober for. they said in episode 3 that he hadn't shown up in a week for work. I'm assuming the…
It could be either one. The new one seem too sus to be the actual culprit I think. So he is probably here just to misleading us. If I would take a wild guess, I think it's the one that left. Like you said, he didn't go to work because he is busy dealing with the ongoing murder. :O
It's trauma.1) His mom abandoned him.2) His trusted nanny kidnapped him.3) His dad brainwashed him to have this…
I will not address your last comment about men because... I don't really care and I don't have time for that especially in a K-Drama comment session.
But about this character viewing women as stone as I already said his dad brainwashed him and threatened him to believe that since childhood. You need to know that can lead to very serious issue. Like his "umbrella", his obsession to follow his "joy" or his problem with trust (women & even his customer).
Of course here, it isn't taken that seriously and will probably be solved with "the power of love" from FL but it could lead to years of therapy if it was real. But I think your opinion of men could obscure any objective understanding here.
It's a crime for this guy to take villain roles instead of romance ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
Yes that him. He play as the general manager of ML compagny. And we got hint that FL's friend is his pairing. He seems to be lady killer (and he is aware of that) while FL's friend is really straightforward making him a little bit uneasy & clumsy ? The few scenes they got together (the drama just began) are really sweet!
[EDIT]: Oh, I just noticed you were talking about the ML here. xD Don't mind me then. ^^'
he's really a manbaby. you don't see women as people because you don't like your mom? really?
It's trauma.
1) His mom abandoned him. 2) His trusted nanny kidnapped him. 3) His dad brainwashed him to have this believe (women are stone) and even threatened him to disown him if he go against it.
I actually surprised that he isn't more mess up at this point so calling him a "manbaby" (what ugly thing to say even if it's a fictional character) is taking a lot of shortcut in your reasoning.
Oh god, I'm having issue here... I kind of liked Ming in this episode. He is still too much, overbearing, narcissistic freak he always has been but as Joe waver... I'm too... :'(
Her obsession make sense this time. I usually don't like this troop because I cannot understand how a "kid crush"…
Maybe you missed this scene, but when as a kid she was stalked by a man, Kid "Hyun woo" saved here by hiding her in a bin and baited the man away. That when she never saw him ever again and the source of her "obsession".
The FL so much obsessed on a name Hyun woo and she is seeing that name in anyone believes that her old childhood…
Her obsession make sense this time. I usually don't like this troop because I cannot understand how a "kid crush" can effect this much a living adult but she isn't researching him because she was his "kid crush". She lived a traumatic experience where his "Oppa" saved her and I think she lost contact with him at this moment. Guilt can easily make her behavior understandable. She wants him to be alive & happy.
But yeah, the love triangle is unnecessary, they just love making them for whatever reason behind it especially when we know that the kid his actually ML.
Oh god, oh god... I wanted to see that. I always see show mostly blindly except with the name & the poster. It seemed fluffy but then I saw the first tag "Terminal Illness". I really struggle with those so yeah I immediately watched the comment section. I'M SO GLAD I DID! I cannot watch this right now... so thank you all for sparing my weakened soul. :(
i dont understand the low rating, this show is not amazing yes, but its definitely better than a lot of other…
7.1 isn't that great either. For this one it's mainly because: It isn't really funny & a lot of screen time is about filler and blood soup + some really bad acting/editing. For OMG! Vampire, like I said, it isn't the drama of the century but at least it's somewhat funny & original.
Good but not that great. I think it would have been better if I would have waited all the episode to be aired first. Well anyway, the last episode did bring some decent closure and was very sweet at least.
Let me start with this: It's a good historical drama with a lot of political strife & conspiracy. Lot of back & forth between 3 "factions". Nothing is black or white (well, the grandpa is dark DARK grey). If you like that, you will be served for 20 episodes.
But unfortunately for me, I wasn't expecting that. First of all, I trusted the "Comedy" tag. I didn't expect a "Mr. Queen" but yeah, I wasn't prepared for a freaking tragedy. The "Comedy" only appear in the first few episode and the last one. That it. After that, it's just sadness & struggle.
Secondly, the romance. I'm not denying it, it was here. As a background for the plot & the political struggle. We have very few "romantic" moment so if you wanted a full on romance you will be disappointed. Like in action movies where they squeeze a romance either for the plot or just because. You will not call it a romance movie either, right ? And they still made a completely unnecessary love triangle out of it.
So, as I viewed this drama, I wasn't in the right mind set to fully enjoyed it as a person who wanted to laugh a bit & have some sweet romance in between. But like I said, I viewed all 20 episodes and I wouldn't say it's bad. It was pretty good. It's just that my expectation where completely wrong.
It's also why I didn't rate this as it will be unfair in my mind.
The ending was ridiculous. Ruined the already mediocre drama for me. Character continuity is a major factor for…
I'm kind of agree with you.
Even if I could understand FL for basically falling under depression because her strong values were shattered by the situation -it could make sense- it wasn't what I wanted to see from such character.
For the ML, it's more complicated. When he was outside of his role as Crown Prince he did behave like this. He was joyful and childish. But yeah, it doesn't make sense that he could just drop the job and everyone was fine with that just because he wanted the girl.
But that it's because writer couldn't make her the queen. I don't know the specific her but it's a pattern I saw in almost every historical: The FL never become the queen. I did heard it was because they would have backslash. Their are very conservatism when it come to their history and even in fiction, they cannot make everything they want. But like I said, I don't know the detail here.
BUT they need the ML & FL to have their happy ending, to also avoid this backslash (Sad/Open ending aren't as popular). It's why most of them have those sort of endings that doesn't really make sense when ML is royalty.
Well, the misunderstanding was cleared faster than I though and suddenly now it isn't this huge problem that even lead to the break up in the first place for Jaemin. Well, I don't care because, I feel the problem was dumb to begin with so yeah, let's move on! :D
I hope more fluff now but we saw in the trailer another dude... He will create problem, right ? This will not lead to a fluffy trouple with everyone being happy, right ? Yeah, fasten your seatbelt, we are for another bumpy ride ! :D
