Instead of this idiotic storyline, they should have just rerun the first episodes in order. The writers can't be bothered to come up with anything intelligent, so we get this garbage. (I'm really biting my tongue here).
What REALLY pisses me off, is that I think these writers CAN do better. We've seen glimpses of some really clever writing here. The only thing I can attribute it to now is LAZINESS. They can't be bothered to think too much, they've already checked out of this show and are on to the new one.
I rated this show as a 5, about half-way thru. I'm lowering it to a 4 now. They've actually succeeded in making this as bad as Apple of My Eye. Which took some doing, IMO.
We all see this coming. It's sad that he is not the father, but i'm sure he will don't care later. I just hope…
Good grief. Would they have even gone this route with GR/MG if there was no extension? How needless. 2nd daily in a row with the father raising a child that was not his own.
I noticed that as well. In the last ep her husband actually pointed this out. With the few ep left perhaps this…
Given the penchant for dailies to have a 'happy ever after' ending, I think they'll pull out all the stops to make sure that JA/CY/DG all reconcile by the final episode. If they give CY a health scare and a few eps of her in hospital, etc, that could be a means for everyone to forgive each other. Plus it would help burn up a week or so of the extension. At this point, after the weddings, what's left to tell, other than HY's baby? I don't think there's an obligation to marry off EA, but it would be nice to see them date by the end of the show.
I just figured out what this series is like: Have you ever had a low-quality chocolate-Chip ice cream? You know, where there is a LOT of vanilla ice cream with relatively few of the delicious bitter-sweet chocolate chips in it. So every spoonful is mostly bland vanilla?
THAT'S this series. A bunch of bites of bland nothingness with the occasional little delight.
I'm surprised no one has mentioned this: There was a brief scene where CY is looking run-down and ill, and she dismisses it as stress from everything going on. Are they setting us up for something? Or was this just a throw-away line?
This show never fails to confuse me. I felt 120 was pretty much a cringe-fest, yet they still gave us two great moments - SW proposing with the ring upside down (BRAVO, that was really clever) and EH's little "Will you Marry Me?" diorama in the back of the borrowed SUV (was really, really sweet) and HY's stunned/amazed/touched reaction. She is such a good actress showing all those emotions in just a few seconds.
If they could only have kept up that kind of clever writing thru the entire show, this would have been a GREAT series.
My only question is: SW put the ring on ES ring finger, left hand (which I thought would be correct). But EH clearly place's his ring on HY's right hand, ring finger. Why was that?
Ok 2 couples down, 1 to go! Let's see if they give EA a hard time too or if they finally learned to let them decide…
This could be an interesting curve they throw us with this one: JA would approve of her being with MG, as she sees a mirror of her own life adopting SW as a child...as EA would do with GR. I can even see her approving with EA, telling her "you really ARE my daughter". While, conversely, this time, it's CY that disapproves and wants a different man (w/o a child) for her.
Ep 115 - That had to be the worst acting of the entire series, in the hospital scenes in that episode. I cringed at the actors/actresses, especially those playing CY and DG. I mean, good Lord, that had to be the hammiest thing I've ever seen.
At this point, I'm convinced the two best actors on this show are those playing EA & HY. I can feel the true emotion they show us in their scenes. I'm no HY fan, but that actress is GREAT. Those two ladies have a bright future. The actresses playing MG's mom and JA are good too, as you'd expect given their experience.
And as a SangJi fan, it hurts saying that...but I rationalize it by thinking they've given her nothing to work with. She, like Grandpa, is just a cartoon cut-out of a human being.
At least she woke up quickly and we didn't get the amnesia plot. Now that SW is set on marrying her no matter…
His Mom has always been shipping EA and him. This time, I think it will be CY that will object, as she did wayyy back in the series. Enough time to establish a relationship? Well, they can at least start dating.
So, if they are going to follow BML's lead here (and why should they bother thinking of anything original at this point?) the next step will be for her to experience "seizures". But the good news is that once that happened, the victim will regain consciousness within the next day. However, in BML, the victim (ML) coma lasted 5 episodes (and with built-in time skips, this was well over a week) and we even got the Dr. telling the family "since there's no progress it doesn't look good" speech.
Dumbest accident Scene i watched seriously you had time to push him and wait for car to hit you wowwwwww
Only interesting thing here was the angle it was shot from - we saw the stunt person jump over the hood of the car (to avoid being hit outright) and roll off the hood onto the pavement. In Bravo My Life, a similar accident (beginning of story) was shot from the aspect of the drivers perspective, and was really dramatic, with the "body" of the victim flying over the car. But in typical dramaland fashion, she stood pole-axed for about 3 seconds instead of simply jumping out of the way.
I hope the domestic audience realizes by now that this is the stupidest thing you could ever do. They should run a disclaimer at the bottom of these scenes "Do not attempt this at home".

Why did I think of this? Now I'm hungry.

I agree, this will just be yet another loose-end the writers have already forgotten about.
