Both of those women are useless. When CY kept hammering at JA that SW wasn't her kid, I kept thinking, "what business is it of hers, and what difference does it make?" I found it revolting.
Episode 115 PreviewSeon-woo is tormented by Eun-seong, who fell into a coma while trying to save him. Eun-seong's…
Well I called for the WTOD to bring them together, but figured somehow it would be on SW, although they've already had him in the ER twice. This is a switch up for Nam SangJi, from her character as the attending girlfriend to the ML in a coma from BML.
They're really breaking new ground with this series, huh? /s
Now we have to endure the whole drama of where EH and HY are going to live - they added 2 weeks on for THIS???
No, there's still open storylines that need to be addressed: they have to finish off SW/ES and get EH/HY married, plus EA...she needs to find her mate in MG and become GR's stepmom. I think they can do all that in 3 more weeks, and keep the show at a lively pace. Plus SJ/JA will need to reconcile too, that will take a couple episodes.
I just started the episode. Why are they so set on not talking about what happened 30 years ago with SWES? They're…
I think they are setting us up for an interesting angle: EA will eventually want to marry MG, and adopt GR. This will be deja vu for JA - adopting another man's son. Otherwise, to bring up this part of the story at this time, makes little sense in the ES/SW arc. JA won't be able to stop EA from adopting and raising another man's son, especially given their bond. It would be a turn for JA to support her desire to marry MG, while CY opposes it because she's never supported that idea (from way back in the show).
OTOH, maybe I'm giving the writers too much credit.
I took a break from this show when it was in the 70s and I’m wondering if I should resume🤔
I think you'll have a hard time finding someone here to give you a resounding YES. We've got about 3 weeks left, and the show has picked up the pace recently. But I'm not sure it's worth it or not?
Ep112- Poor Jin-Sil. She REALLY wanted to be the one to break the news about HY, but she didn't get a chance. The look of frustration on her face was pretty funny. Well done job by that veteran actress.
As far as JA goes, I'm not a wine drinker, so I guess one could get that sloshed on 1 and a half bottles of red?
What a fantastic show. I was not prepared for how deep it really was. I'd write a review, but almost I'm almost 7 years too late. I really regret not seeing it when it aired to be able to join in the discussion. It amazes me that the social issues discussed here are so relevant now, in the post-pandemic/lockdown world. I'd love to see the leads paired again, their chemistry was really good.
With all the things that happened this week, the one that stands out to me was Grandpa's talk with EH. That was really touching and well-done. It was nice to see how earnest both were, and that Grandpa was trying to be something other than the cartoonish character they normally write him as.
Was JA thinking her son was still a virgin?? Cause I mean how exactly was she expecting CY to control EH when…
That would make sense, although it would have been in the middle of his college education. How many years was he here in the States? 17? Long time on a Visa...he should have applied for citizenship.
OK, I'll let you know! Once this disaster ends, I'll take a week break, and start Once Again and see you in the comments section there. I'm near the end of I'm Not a Robot, and am amazed at that show. I even ordered the DVD for it. The ML in Ugly Alert was also the ML in 3 Bold Siblings, and the forum here had a lot of praise for Joo Hwan's performance in that.
I hope so! This is NOT a remake of the Korean Drama - it is another adaptation of the same webtoon, which DID go further than the story depicted in the show we already know & love. So there's a chance. But the fact they copied the poster from the k-drama one, is unsettling. My interest in this is the hope they do go further, but if the cast lacks the chemistry that the original had, well, Good Luck.
After watching the first episode, it seems like this had a budget of about $50 to make. And, you HAVE to watch the Korean version first because they leave a lot of stuff out that makes the show understandable. I really want to like this, as I'm curious how they decided to re-write the back-half of the story, but it's tough to watch after the first.
Trying to remake a classic like 'I'm Not a Robot' isn't easy.

Fluffy? No. Profound? Most definitely.
