The classic enemies to lovers, works everytime😍
Actually it's rivals to lovers, the difference is that rivals have a common interest, which makes the storytelling of a love story more natural, while an enemy could be doing anything to work against you and, well generally despises you. To overcome that is much more difficult to write well. I learned that just yesterday. Here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T8nlCVC-HWQ

recently I noticed that the earlier in the drama the shirt-less scene occurs, that is directly correlated with…
Oh you might be onto something.. it' so weird to get the naked skin fanservice before you even had an opportunity to become a fan of the character(or the actor). I like it better to have the fanservice later in the the plot and preferably through the eyes or viewpoint of the love interest, spring dreams anyone *g*.
Unfortunately the very first shot of this show is already that, mah.
I recommend to put on the live comments on viki, there are some vicious ones.

Ohhh, this drama is pure fluff! If you are a veteran fanfiction reader. this is pure WAFF! The last japanese BL (edit: I watched) was Fujoshi, Ukkari Gei ni Kokuru (well more realistic than BL, I highly recommend, but not for the faint of heart), so Kieta Hatsukoi is a good contrast program.

Did anyone noticed the Eyes of the ML? They look different. Does he have lazy eyes...Its distraction for me lol...
Well they are not perfectly symetrical, but hardly any human is. It is quite normal to have one eye go a bit astray if you are not focused watching on something, if thats what you mean by lazy eye. Nevertheless they are kinda his signature

In ep 9&10 of The Lost Tomb, wu xie met huo grandma for the first time. but why in ultimate note ep 27 wu xie…
Stuff like this happens several times, because the different seasons are made by different companies and the screenwriters hardly match up the continuity of the novel and each other. Also sometimes scenes from later books get kidnapped and put in earlier scripts. Like the famous restaurant auction fight. If I remember correctly, they actually meet grandma Huo after Tamutou in the novel. Just roll with it.. also it gets much more confusing if you watch season 2 and 2.5, especially Uncle 3s story.

Someone made a voting list for which lost tomb cast u would want to return for this series. https://kisskh.at/list/4q6VJBr1…
Tbh I'd be okay with several Wu Xies and Pangzis, even new actors, since imho Wu Xies character has had a lot of luck with the casting, but I'd pray for Xiaoge to be Xiao Yuliang!
He does not have a full timetable of filming according to MDL, especially compared to Joseph Zeng (who is getting WORKED), soooo...

Can one watch this without watching the other shows?
You could, but a lot of characters that have appeared in the previous seasons would be rather hollow. If you want to watch it for a specific actor, go for it.
If you want to find a new rabbit hole to fall in, I'd recommend Ultimate Note https://kisskh.at/51397-final-chronicles first as a first taste. And after getting fixated on the characters... watch it chronologically.

This is soo funny.. I thought I was over high school dramas that actual play in school and show a bunch of school lessons and stuff.. but Shi Fen and his friends are just hilarious.

I finally understand, why they filmed the seasons so mixed up and with partly different cast... IN reality it's the same cast from season 1 but with these human rubber masks on, and the mix up is a trap puzzle. You get evil spoilers if you don't crack the puzzle of the REAL order (and or are not patient enough to wait (years) for the missing in between seasons)!!!!!!

Very cute drama, the romantic relationships are nicely unannoying. I liked the portrayal of the cyberbullying and the hoops the characters had to jump through in order to react properly.
The CGI is pretty, but the gameplay scenes were a bit boring to me as a non gamer, especially the last episode (which is weird for a last ep)
I just wished the rest of the team had more character development. Everybody has like 1 trait (beauty, sports, food, being a cute butler, tactics, annoying lil bro..), problems with their family and maybe one small storyline. The boys are mostly the cute audience for Tong Yao and Lu Si Cheng. I liked Cross Fire better in that department, their team spirit made me cry buckets.
The kiss scenes are top notch though, and I have to say XuKai looks like he gives GREAT hugs.
And Tong Yaos parents are so nice, epsecially her mom.
Ahhh.. I feel I would have hyped this much more if I was half my age now ><

Omg fellow Doctor Who fan! Well for them though, it was built into the story. But yeah, you realize it's not the…
And it was build in it very clever, but it's actually a rebirth story (which we see a looot in asian dramas if I think a about it, thats rather funny).
Oh well considering the changing cast situation... it helps to be not sooo young anymore. Yes I want to see my favourite Wu Xie and Xiaoge and Pangzi but chinese dramaland is not american showbiz, they hardly do longer seasonal contracts. And since the actors doing dramas are a rather long time on set compared to movies, it's difficult to schedule the same people again and again.
I am just really confused about Uncle three.. and the other one.. when is which one who, lol.
But at least I am starting to like this Xiaoge, despite the many.. words.
Hm, 2 episodes in, I think it's ok. It gives me the same vibe as Lost Tomb 2, same visual style. Well the music is nice. Wu Xie was a bit bitchy at first, but it might have Bai Shus Love and Redemption bitchy snake lord in mind :). I only hope we won't get 3 episode long hiking through the snow montages again..

I fell into the DMBJ rabbit hole with UN, but I am used from other shows like Doctor Who to have an ever changing cast. At least this season has quite a lot of recurring cast, even one main character.

Oh another CF fan! I thought about this show too, when crawling through TFH ( I had to speed up the non-work scenes). The action scenes in CF are much more.. urgent?
I mean The flaming heart definately has not the budget of CF or 911, but a lot of people here wrote it's based on real stories- real rescuers are much more professional.
I had to be carried out of a subway station by firefighters before and picked up by paramedics out of supermarket due to injury, and these people are really calm and they don't.waste.time squabbeling or fighting at the emergency scene. My father worked as a paramedic when he was at college, and later as the person in charge of safety at work, and he always urged safety first.

So the wait is over... But only 24 episodes?
Yeah, it has only 1 novel it's based on (which is part 4) Ultimate Note was based on book 5-7 and has 37 ep, Lost Tomb 2 on book 2,3 and a bit of 4- and a whopping 40 ep. . And Lost Tomb 2 was a bit draggy to be honest. I prefer a tighter storyline to as much episodes as possible (as much as I like the characters).

Does anyone know if there is an app or site where I can listen to Chinese songs with lyrics and subtitles?
I'd like that too... I usually type in the name of the drama and "OST" or "Ending". If it's a popular one you might find a fansub + lyrics to sing along. (sometimes called karaoke vers.) And then I put them in a playlist.
