Do you write fanfics? If not, I think you should consider that, I see great potential here! 😂

I already started manifesting JossGawin in a dark criminal series: Gawin as a villan/criminal and Joss as a detective/policeman. Adding a little bit of seasoning to it, Gawin could play as a maniac sociopath.
I can already foresee the action, the drama, the tension and the dilemas rising in " Joss's" heart: I love the man I have to put in jail.

I'll live till the day my delusion come true! IhIhIhIh!🤭

🥲...

How is it?are you guys enjoying it?I hate vampire related stuffs as it gives me cringe but is this good?
I'm LOVING the series so far!

But are you asking because you want to evaluate if it's worth watching? If that's the case, you'll only know it if you watch the series yourself.

I encourage you to do it since you seem pretty interested despite the fact you "hate vampire related stuffs as it gives you cringe".

Yes!

😣 Do you think they are at risk of not sticking for too long?
Hm... about that confidence part Gawin showed to be a very confident individual. It's just that he values his personal time. He just isn't the type of person to be found of social media and spotlights, but a stage instead singing and doing his thing...

I like to think that he's lazy to social media since he's too busy living life.

Yes!! I noticed Gawin's evolution, he clearly has opened up a little bit more. I'm also aware that Joss is considerate of Gawin and is willing to keep up with the pairing, for as long as possible. You actually lighted up my mood with this comment, as I was starting to worry about JossGawin's future since you pointed out crucial factors for them to stay relevant in the industry. But in the end of the day, it's all a matter of time. They still have the rest of the series to prove their value and the upcoming series ON:DO to mostly settle in thai fans hearts.

this is yet another boring series from GMMTv, I'm amazed at how they can't just make an entertaining series, and…
Hm...

MGB will break you in tears if you're a sensitive person. So I would recommend you to enjoy, or at least try to enjoy the cheesy romance till then.

Dark, really DARK times are approaching...

What an episode!!! ❤️

(This is my POV about the series so far and my answer to some comments I read)

Our Mark may be two centuries old but still has somethings to learn about human relationships. Tong as a naive young-man, also has lacking social skills and relationship knowledge but ended up being the one who gave Mark a lesson about friendship and trust.
Mark and Tong share strong similarities as cleared to us in the previous episode. This ancient vampire, may seem like an old man as the story tells us so, but the fact that he's experiencing things he was never able to for so long, even in his miserable human life, demonstrates a predisposition to an impulsive curiosity, the same as a child aggressively eatting a cake for the first time. Mark waited too long to live, his young self woke up from a long hibernation. He may be old but his young self lives. He wasn't able to mature, but to age, as he didn't surround himself with humans, in consequence, human experiences (conflicts, dilemas, solving problems) are unfamiliar to him. A person can only mature if they live those experiences. Mark constructed his own perception of "reality" out of external sources and somebody's POV: books for example. Despite of being unable to connect emotionally with it...
To sum it up, this is the reason Mark doesn't seem to act as an old man.

About Tong, it should be pretty clear by now that Tong as a countryside young-man, who was deprived of living a normal life - have friends, go out, date, get bruises, injuries, cause these are normal while growing up - would have strong mannerisms. He has been treated as a child even after adulthood. Gawin's pouty lips ("mouth thing") and childlike behaviour just reinforces Tong's whole personality, as a clueless young-man. I would say that it's valid claiming that Tong acts "stupid" in relation to how he carries himself and his demeanor but we shouldn't insult his intelligence, he showed to be a really smart individual. Now, beyond the fictional universe of MGB, acting cute is a "thing" in the culture of some Eastern countries. For instance in Korea they have the "aegyo" and in Japan "kawaii". In Thailand is the same, so Gawin most probably was directed to act like that, also he as thai himself has his own references on how he should act "cute" or clueless about the world - "dumb/stupid" to the world around him.
To westerns this behaviour may pass by as ridiculous but we should have in mind that different cultures have their particular approaches to any matter.

Personally, Joss and Gawin are delivering an amazing acting. Few (thai) actors can reflect a character's felling only with micro-expressions or/and a gaze as well as them. These are the times in a scene where we don't need words to know how a character is felling or thinking. The silence sharpens our attention to what's going on in their minds. I just LOVE silence bits in romances.

About Gawin >possibly< not being the right cast to play as a 20 year old: BL casting doesn't go by "which (isolated) actor fits this character better" it goes by pairings. Overall, the most important factor in a BL by the audience is a paring's onscreen chemistry, and GMMTV knows it the most. That's why they encourage actors to do workshops and to spend quality time together, instead of working on actual good scripts.

MGB is not perfect, but what makes me intrigued the most about this series is obviously JossGawin onscreen chemistry, MarkTong love story and how the romance is so beautifully explored here.

This series should be seen with an open mind and heart as most of us are exposed to another culture and a different approach to entertainment with more or less quality in general, compared to western media or high budget productions.

I agree with you with the CGI, particularly in EP. 1, it's so bad to the point I bursted out laughing not because it was funny but because of how BAD it was even my body started hurting out of cringeness, in consequence the immersion got cutted off because I wasn't able to take the scenes serious. I have to admit I was left desapointed with that first impression. Because of that, I do understand the people hating on it - new (MASCxMASC) couple in a cheesy vampiric series with poor CGI and vampires who go out in the sunlight (generalising to a different approach of vampires different from the traditional ones), it surely is too much to process in a first moment.

Despite the CGI/FX low budget, I'm loving this series because it delivers a side from romance that I long haven't see. The yearnings, the cravings, the impulses... Sometimes, it feels good and is interesting to see an irrational approach of love in a fictional universe and specially this genre (vampiric/fantasy).

My opinion may be biased but Joss and Gawin are doing an amazing job playing as Mark and Tong.

Why is Tong angry with Mark?
If you're referring to the ep.4 teaser, the reason why Tong is angry with Mark is because of a "friendship and trust" matter.

Bro why Gmmtv series are always so cringe but everyone is obsessed with them.. There are a lot of good bl’s…
My experience with cringeness in this specific series happens because when I first watch an episode I remember that I'm watching a show about vampires, and everything about vampires is cringe doesn't matter the series. Plus, it takes time for me to disassociate JossGawin to MarkTong, as I'm supposed to perceive Mark and Tong as individuals and not as a product of an acting. On top of that, the most cringe part is the romance being portrayed as we were used to see in our pre-teen/teenage years: "🧠 reason left the chat."
Mark is led by his emotions after being deprived of them for so long. Also he's a vampire and his predator and primitive senses are what defines his whole being.

I would dare to compare MGB with Tarzan...

I find this series cringe because it explores purely characters' emotions and fellings in a raw way, since Mark and Tong are experiencing love for the first time, and processing that in their own approach (like teenagers). This is the kind of cringeness that I find worth to feel as I know there is so much more than 3 episodes and good-looking actors.

waiting for a plot to exist... very slow atm and a little disjointed, personally I hate flashbacks to stuff that…
>IF< I'm right according to the novel and the series pacing, things will start to get serious in episode 6 or 7.
