I don't pick it by production either. I can't only choose BLs from GMMTV as many of them lack on writing, acting or chemistry. I was just saying that GMMTV BLs are mostly soft compared to the other companies who choose to explore a more mature plot, in general.

I'm all about ROMANCE and EMOTION not "sex for exchange"! That's why I didn't watch "The Heart Killers" and "Play boyy" for exemple. Started to watch 4minutes because the premisse of the series and the trailer was intriguing, ended up choked about what I saw... I know I could've watch the uncut version but that wouldn't add the lacking romance. Straight-up soft 🌽.

OMG! There are 3 parts of "My beautiful Man" I thought there were only 2. I'm so sorry for my ignorace 😂😅. I compared them out of superficiality. I wasn't convinced with MPW too. Like, that d*mn Mizuki wanted a housewife - housewives aren't a problem, (if it's their choice) the problem is him not accepting Yoh to have his independence, the man wanted to work. I already watched it... It wasn't bad but the characters couldn't speak their mind. I could relate with Hira, as he's a strong introspective individual, but he thought less of himself. He thought he didn't deserve to be loved by Kyioi who he idolised. Hira saw him as a god... Despite Kyioi seeing Hira from who he really was and loved him anyways.
The misunderstandings happened because they weren't clear about their feelings with one another.
I think the whole meaning of the series was to highlight the construction of bonding and understanding between a couple -relationships aren't perfect as they can work out if there's transparency and respect...
Overall, the series felt way too depressive. It felt like Hira even living with his lover was isolated. It looked like he could only find company in his own distorted thoughts.
I think next week this comment section will be filled with craziness over that scene and the kiss. I want to be part of the team too 🤣🤣🤣
