Oh my…

So, on Netflix it will be one episode a day up to ep 27 on November 3rd. And then?

Also, didn’t Rao arrange for someone to tutor her sister in that far away place? What happened to that? Did Useless Brother sell the tutor?

The minute she returns l’ll drop the drama. I really expect the drama to be better than that.

Yeah, I hear you!

Hm, then to me it makes no sense that Bitao couldn’t bring herself to pour the wine. Then I’m at a loss… 🫪

Nooooooooooooo!

Please no. I had been at the end of my patience, already, with the doppelgänger plot dragging out for so long. I truly hope the story is now finally over Jun dai, once and for all.

Not sure, but the way I understood it FL didn’t want to fight any more and gave up, resigning herself to fate. Bitao indeed would not kill her, so FL actually made her pour the drink. If not for that twisted aunt, who wanted her mum to kill her own daughter, FL would be dead. That’s my take.

Seriously? Ok, I‘ll wait for spoilers, and if Jundai survives ep 16, I’ll pass. They have milked the doppelgänger trope for too long now, and it is becoming a drag imo.

Against the current and Road to Splendour were great, but not sure they were strong regarding ‘swooning’. Spring of the Blade had strong chemistry and great acting, too, Unfortunately, however, it had pacing issues.

There’s hope this will seal the evil girl’s fate. If this becomes another instance of her “I poisoned myself to get rescued just in time to garner sympathy”-drama, I give up on this whole story. How long do they want to milk the “evil doppelgänger” trope?

Finished ep. 15. I hope this issue is resolved quickly, it’s been dragging on enough. (To the point where I lost patience at some point during ep 15.)

I really liked the acting, and the vibes. If only there hadn’t been money issues that resulting in some pacing hiccups this could have been really, really great. It is still enjoyable. XK is slayin’ it, and so is the ultimate villain.

In the novel the mother - a consort to the emperor who was ‘banned’ to a remote palace - is nice and loves her daughter. However, in the novel you have just non-evil Wei Rao as the FL, no Doppelgänger (no look alike). So, they changed a lot.

Ah, thank you, I think I get it now!

This semi spoiler has me even more confused. What? Both parents are twins? Only the mums? Only the dads? How? And where are they all now?!? And why would you swap the babies?!? 🤪

When FL tears up the deed and indentures - not only her general friend but even more so the evil Han guy look totally enamoured watching her 😂😂😂

At (almost) the end of Ep 10…

Ok, I’m at ep 4, and the evil twin is just too evil, like comic villain evil. Hmmm.
