The inconsistencies are so glaring, I don’t even see the need to point them out anymore.

I suppose we’ll also see Ae Kyung in her 1st life to complete the reincarnation merry-go-round. They are all connected!

So agree. It seems the show has flimsy material that they only have importance on the last 10 minutes. While other scenes are endless flashbacks on loop.

Also, I would’ve wished for no-romance too for the main couple. I would’ve enjoyed the show a lot more. Seriously.

The speculations from some people are amusing. And judging from the personal attacks on several users and vulgarities being used, it’s easy to see who’s actually spreading the hate. That’s all I have to say.

I thought he was ok in Yumi’s Cells too. I thought he’s pretty ok here because he’s supposed to be going through traumatic events. So I can understand him being passive. However, I think it doesn’t mesh well with the FL’s stronger personality. I’m really just as puzzled.

Just to add to that, I think there’s an imbalance in their relationship that makes the romance awkward. She comes on too strong and he’s too passive.

Plus I think it’s the way the FL character treats people in her past life in a condescending manner. I mean, it doesn’t look as bad when she does it with her niece or sister because in the story context of past lives they are supposedly younger than her. But it’s hard to swallow in a romantic relationship unless one has some kind of Oedipus complex fetish. It’s just very awkward.

That could be part of it. But maybe not entirely blamed on the writing, I don’t know, because the 2nd couple are written just as badly but at least they have chemistry. And they even have fewer scenes. Or I could just be biased though lol

I’m watching it for the 2nd couple so… I’ll probably tune in for the last two episodes just to see what happens.

The cast and crew should be thanking us we are keeping the counters going on MDL and Netflix. Lol.

Yeah, some of us share the same sentiments. She’s a good actress but there’s something that’s just off with her performance here. I’m emotionally detached whenever I watch her.

She also has great chemistry with everyone except the ML! Which can’t be good since they’re selling this show as a romance. It’s really weird because she looks good in scenes with other characters like her niece and sister. She has more chemistry with that shaman guy than she does with the ML.

I don’t see how one’s personal relationship has anything to do with the role they portray. That is why it is called ACTING. Surely one can’t expect an actor playing a serial killer to have actually killed someone to be convincing of their role.

Besides this post is my own personal opinion. We understand your high regard for SHS. So please respect others’ opinion too. You should avoid coming to the forum if you can’t handle other people’s opinions 🙂

And just to add, this is not to bash SHS as I do think she is a good actress. It’s my own personal feelings that she is better at quirky roles like Mr Queen than romance role like what this drama requires.

On the other hand, I’ve seen KTR exude an intimate presence even without the need for close physical contact. I find her equally capable in expressing heightened emotions and softness/ innocence at the same time. But that’s just my opinion, I’m not here to argue.
