This show is delivering on all fronts. Great tension and angst. Lots of heart too. The writer has a knack at making viewers care so much for the characters. That scene between the two brothers was done really well.
Maybe it’s just me but I’m really counting on every emotional buildup between Mokha and Kiho (it’s Bogeol for me!) in more episodes. Bring on the tension, the angst, and all the melodrama, please!
I haven't watched episode 4 yet, but why is it too much to bear??
Some of us think there’s still more to that flashback than what we’re being shown. His memories triggered by the loud sound (noise from the cars mimicking banging on the door) could be scrambled for now.
I think they were showing in the scene between Ran Joo and Seo Joon that she has unhealthy patterns of being used…
Yeah same here. I wasn’t as invested with the characters there as much as I am here. I also didn’t like the shipping war that got out of control in Start Up. I stayed out of discussions when people starting getting very negative with the attacks.
Any theories as to why the dad only wanted to name Kiho as benefactor and not include his other son Woohak?
Just wondering how that detail fits in with the theory that Woohak and Bogeol (who some of us assume is really Kiho) are brothers from same dad. Or if Woohak’s dad is the one he’s currently living with. Because it would mean Kiho is his only child. And his police dad does not really know who Woohak is.

Ohhh, I rewatched again that scene, her shocked reaction and I just notice her tears, were too real. At first glance, I thought for sure she saw through him and was setting a trap of her own. Ugh. It’s going to be tough for her. I admit she can be annoying to watch at times. But on the other hand, she also has that vulnerable side to her.
Thinking about it, Mokha’s horse chestnut story could serve as Ranjoo’s lifeline that takes her out of her dark circumstances. It could be a parallel of sorts between Mokha who idolized someone but turns out to be that Ranjoo is someone who possibly needs her more. A real castaway saving a castaway diva.
I just have a heavy feeling that Bo-Geol is Ki-Ho. I'M 100% SURE IT'S BO-GEOLHere are some big and small reasons…
A lot of us have talked a lot about it too and it’s really Bogeol who is Kiho. 😊 I’m anticipating the reveal and Mokha’s reaction knowing the person who has saved her from possible tragedy was also there when they found her in that island that day. I can’t wait for her to find out what we have seen all along, that is, what Bogeol/Kiho has done for her all those years of waiting.
What she and Mokha are doing (ghost singing) could get them into trouble. Not sure how the show will resolve that. But I hope they do something about it soon.
Ranjoo is more likeable when she tones down that diva personality. I’m not sure what to read of that scene with the CEO but I’m more likely to think she was getting info to use against him. She was right when she suspected the sudden change in his treatment when he sent those gifts. I hope she was smart enough to maybe record and get evidence of that conversation when he admitted that he ordered the pull out of her albums. Maybe exposing what he did to the public could be a good strategy. I mean, she already has quick access to a PD and a TV reporter, right? With her popularity on the rise due to her guest appearance on Heyday, I’m expecting the TV networks will be all over her already trying to get covering for news and ratings.
and here,, in Diva, he has the most difficult role, because when SML is such a good character , 1st ML always…
To be fair, both ML and SML are good characters. None of them are taking any hits. I have a gut feel things will end well similar to While You Were Sleeping rather than Start Up fiasco.
Not just you. I concur with your reasoning. And I’m camping on Bogeol Island with my cooler box filled with…
I don’t think the story would put so much emphasis on the kids’ background and correlate it to the present day with such an intense emotional level if Kiho isn’t one of the brothers. It just so happens that the hints align more with Bogeol. And CJH is hitting it out of the ballpark with his performance. He really does angsty emotions so well.
And why am I noticing that Mokha is self-consciously brushing off hair from her face? 😭😭
I came across some interesting articles about how South Koreans change their names. I didn’t know it was possible to change their age as well?

Anyone knows where to watch their behind scenes? Doesn’t tvn post those anymore?
