When a fear can be so intense that it starts to seep into your subconscious and starts giving nightmares…
When a person wants to protect their loved ones so much it leaves them so desperate that they start to look at alternate solutions that can bring more harm than good…
My heart breaks for Bogeol.
For now, it’s heartwarming to see that Mokha gives him many reasons to smile.
Uri MokGeolli are taking baby steps and that’s more than enough for me.

It looks like there will be more scenes on the next episode from their childhood that’s gonna explain the deep connection they had. This writer is not holding back on the emotional punches 😅😊
Episode 7, folks. 👌👌👌 And the ending? 😍😭😍😭😍Our screenwriter continues to deliver. I feel…
Ahh yes, that “heart burst with happiness” parallel scene of adult and young Kiho was one of my favorites. The little smile from Bogeol’s face while looking at the monitor. And then young Kiho doing the same thing and placing both his hands on his hips exactly like Bogeol !!! Had a really good hearty chuckle at that!!

It was kind of a rhetorical question :) so yeah, you’re right about the flashback and all that was shown specifically. Since we got Bogeol’s pov revealed this episode, I’m thinking that maybe we’re supposed to think there is a different perspective from that than the “love triangle” that some viewers keep whining about. Because I really do not see it framed in that way.

Exactly! I can’t it say enough how much I love how each scene and plot build upon the emotional moments of not just Bogeol and Mokha but also Woohak, their mom and the foster dad. Just warm and fuzzy feelings of healing and found family!
Some thoughts about Woohak and his characterization…
The way I see it, Woohak’s loss of memories and thereby his loss of identity and sense of self has played a big part at his characterization for the most part.
His relationship with Mokha started from him being a reporter. Then she started to say that he reminds her of Kiho. So that’s the identity that he attached himself to and identified with.
He started saying things like: What would Kiho do? What is Kiho like etc. He started to get information about Kiho from other people’s point of view. Thus, he started to adapt to a description of him (Kiho) and attached himself based on that information. Basically he embraced what Kiho would do or say as his own identity.
He was devastated when the flowers got delivered to him. And found out that the flowers were from Kiho. That burst his bubble because he knew he didn’t send it so he must not be Kiho then.
I think deep down he already sensed that he couldn’t be Kiho just from how everyone around him behaves- his parents, Bogeol and Mokha. I have a sense that his devastation from knowing the truth was more of his sense of self and identity that he started to buildup were shattered more than anything else. I don’t think it was from any romantic feelings he had for Mokha.
When the reveal came in Episode 7 that he was indeed the older brother of Kiho, that just solidified everything. But also, it brought on a new identity for him.
Thinking about it, as a reporter, Woohak would be predisposed to finding the truth. I’m pretty sure he wouldn’t want to impose his feelings on someone based on what he knows was a “pretend” identity.
His devastation came from the loss of his identity, thus his attachment to Mokha and him pretending to be Kiho. And his jealousy comes, not that of a spurned lover, but from the fact that he has not regained his full memories yet and thus he has not established his roots yet.
Except for his family, he hasn’t found any other past relationships to cling to unlike what Bogeol and Mokha has recovered. He has told Mokha he has no memories of his friends from high school. And that’s why I never saw it as a love triangle. I hope his character is given more depth by the viewers because it really wasn’t about a love triangle at all. His journey is just beginning and his fulfillment will come eventually, one of which is from having his memories back in full.
PS Having said all these, I’d like to give space for interpretation regarding the last scene with Bogeol and Mokha with Woohak at the background. Was this supposed to be a parallel scene to when Bogeol saw Woohak and Mokha at the island? If so, then maybe Woohak was just relieved that Mokha was safe in the same way that Bogeol was. Weren’t some viewers all hot and bothered at the lack of reaction from Bogeol at the island? Yet, here we are and we now know the entire truth behind that, don’t we? I’m going to go against the flow and hold off jumping into conclusions about Woohak’s sullen behavior knowing what and how his character has been built in the story so far.

I’m fairly sure he knew right away who she was with at the cafe. He also knew why she changed her mind and didn’t want to pursue her dream anymore. He knew she was concerned for his safety. But he’s also concerned for hers. Mokha’s reaction was quite transparent. She’s afraid and concerned for him and just wants him to remain as Bogeol but well, Bogeol’s smart, he already saw through all that and judging from their conversations at the ajumma restaurant and at the park, he is already two steps ahead of her.
That moment he saw the photo of her at the cafe he knew right away the reason why she wanted to be someplace far from him. And he already knows he’s going to keep his promise to protect her.
“I wanted to thank you for being alive.” He’s been wanting to say that since he saw her at the island! His fears and worries were not just for his family’s safety but it included Mokha’s now, too. She’s safe and alive, he’s thankful for that and he’s going to do his best to keep it that way. That tight hug says it all!
is the triangle just about who is kiho or is it a love triangle?
Nothing definite as of now but some scenes pointing to some tension and possible love angle with one character (Bogeol) while the other (Woohak) shows a close, caring friend vibe who may take on the older brother/friend role moving forward.
Woo Hak’s character importance and why romance here is not the case I feel like there is a lot of discussions…
Very well said! For a long time, Woohak felt lost and copied his brother because of his amnesia. But now, it’s clear he has a new purpose. He’s taken on the car accident assignment without grumbling, unlike before, which surprised his boss. He’s very committed to bringing back their real identities at the same time he’ll likely uncover evidences so that the other dad can be locked up for good. The change in his arc is coming into play in the second half so I’m looking forward to the two brothers work together in helping Mokha and their family.
It's the way the lake kept having random screen time in episode 6....😂😭 The writer really doesn't want us…
Lol. Writer knows how to throw the bait! And I’m all here for it 😂 Though I’m probably not gonna spend too much time speculating on the details and just let the story flow and the clues unravel by themselves. But it sure looks related to the Kang family and their secret identities. I’m hoping it’ll be something that incriminates that other dad and put him in prison for good.
Such a wonderful character! That cliffhanger! So good to see he’ll be a part of Mokha’s journey too!I can’t…
She has been looking at him oddly whenever something he says reminds her of Kiho. So yeah, she might be testing him. And Bogeol easily takes her bait. They’re adorable!
I knew I could trust Bogeol. Kiho wasn't the type who would lose his memory just like that. Him remembering Mokha…
Such a wonderful character! That cliffhanger! So good to see he’ll be a part of Mokha’s journey too!
I can’t wait for Mokha to have the reveal scene too with Bogeol! Although she’s so smart she has already kinda put some of the puzzle pieces together haha
Lol. That’s not what this show is about though 😂

The writing here sometimes demands viewers to read between the lines instead of taking things being shown or said by characters at face value.
