I said it before and I'll say it again: it did not need to be this goofy. We got a glimpse of what Yim is capable of when Mai rejects Jade and it was the best part of the series for me. We know TutorYim can act, I don't know why they trap them in this kind of silly series. I most probably would have dropped it if it wasn't for them. The thing is that the story itself wasn't even the issue, I was all in for a confident younger man going after the self-conscious older guy but they just went about it entirely the wrong way... A huge disappointment, I had looked forward to it for so long... I mean, I've definitely seen worse but it wasn't good either.
I'm really loving it, I am, but they're doing too much. Sea's acting really could have brought me to tears but the overdramatic music and excessive zooms are making it hard for me to stay in the moment. It's still one of the best series airing right now but it had potential to be even better. Anyway, I remember really looking forward to Vice Versa since I love Jimmy but ever since that series, Sea has taken over for me. His acting is brilliant and he's cute as a button. I hope we'll continue to see more of him ā¤ļø
Not the finger guns š Honestly, learning about them individually, I wasn't convinced that it would work out but when they finally met again, I could feel the chemistry right away. I shouldn't have doubted Chang Wook and Hye Sun, they're gonna kill it. I really enjoyed the first two episodes, there are already quite a few elements that have me waiting for next week, like why the multiple break ups and the drowning flashback. I'm sure they have a lot in store for us, I'm excited.
It took me three tries to finally complete the last episode. I really do love TutorYim but this series did not need to be this goofy. I wouldn't still be watching if it wasn't for them. The last episode was so boring, it was literally the same thing as last week... I waited a long time for this but it's turning out to be a big disappointment. I have nothing against lighthearted, all fluff series, on the contrary I love them, but this isn't it...
I've watched Cherry Magic a few times so my expectations are quite high but the trailer looks so nice and TayNew seem perfect for Adachi and Kurosawa, I really can't wait š„°
I cannot believe there's an omegaverse series currently airing in the year 2023. I've officially seen it all. I've never read it so I don't know why I felt compelled to start watching this reading the comments but it wasn't bad. I've definitely been wanting more of Pavel and he's doing great. I quite liked Pooh, too. They seem to have nice chemistry so far. The whole racing thing reminds me of Love in the Air, which is nice. The soundtrack sucks, though.
This is more Why R U? inspired than it is a remake⦠which is fine, I guess, but since I was excepting something closer to the original, I canāt help comparing the two. Seon Woo doesn't have anything going for himself. I didnāt even really find him likeable, I think most of the issue was definitely Lee Sang Min's acting... The chemistry that Zee and Saint had is nowhere to be found here, and while I was originally disappointed to see it looked like the SaifahZon counterparts were going to get more screen time, their chemistry was way better. I genuinely enjoyed Kim Ji Oh turning into a hurt puppy once he started expressing his interest in Jung Lee Won a lot. I didnāt love anyoneās acting either, though if I had to pick I would say Lee Jung Min was the most enjoyable. I kept seeing people saying this was way better than the original so I was excited but Iām confused by this point of view. I do agree that the original is messy and has too many characters, I mean, I even thought it was strange that MaxNat were there until I rewatched the original when I got bored halfway through and was reminded they were part of it⦠The original is slow at times but the chemistry and intensity of some of the scenes are absolutely incredible. This was just kinda boring all around, and I actually did find it pretty slow despite being so short⦠Remakes are tough, and in retrospect I like some of the ways they made it different yet somewhat similar, like changing the second coupleās interest from music to drama, in fact I enjoyed the drama classes a lot, but apart from that the rest was pretty bland in my opinion.
The bad news is I don't think I'm gonna see anything even close to being this good in a very long time. I mean, I've gushed about this series enough over the past 12 weeks, I really don't know what else there is to say. It was incredible and I can't believe it's over... I think I'm gonna start over from the beginning, see what I might have missed the first time around or forgotten with time. I just can't even think of parting with them just yet. I would rate it 100/10 if I could.
What a massive disappointment, I don't think it's even worth getting into it... That being said I could have watched an entire series with Pimfah and Napdao as the main couple.
I'm really confused. I'm liking it but it's taking me so long to get through it. I've started watching again after not having picked it up in months, and I've gone through 3 episodes but it feels like 6. It's like I'm enjoying it but also not... I think I like the ML and FL but that's it... Now, finding out they're not gonna get a kiss is not helping me push through. I'll finish it eventually because Ji Chang Wook is super adorable in this but it's not quite working for me. Maybe I should jus skip the parts with Dal Shik, he's entirely useless and boring.
Anyway, I remember really looking forward to Vice Versa since I love Jimmy but ever since that series, Sea has taken over for me. His acting is brilliant and he's cute as a button. I hope we'll continue to see more of him ā¤ļø
