I was so happy to see this coming to Viki. I'd even have settled for watching it unsubbed, but I couldn't find it in my country 😢. Strangers From Hell was one of the first k-dramas ever I watched, and I still love and rewatch it. Both this and Beyond Evil getting Japanese remakes is awesome. Ten days can't come fast enough ❤️
Excellent news! Although I'm saddened by losing 17 episodes worth of content but it's better than this drama being shelved indefinitely, right? It's been years, I've wanted to see this since watching Joy of Life the first time (and that was one of the first c-dramas I ever saw). I'm ecstatic, Bai Yu and of course Zhang Ruo Yun as main characters in the same drama and a wuxia at that. Two of my favourite actors <3. Hope it gets aired soon xxx
*added* Well, admittedly, they had me at Zhang Ruo Yun as he's my favourite actor. He picks extremely interesting projects, and I just love his energy and how charismatic he is. Very much a ZRY fangirl but, eh, he's crazy talented and the one person I'd probably watch in any genre. All the same, I'm a big fan of thrillers and the synopsis sounds very interesting. Just hoping for more of ZRY's dramas to see the light of day.
Well, the downside is after season 2, you'll have to wait with the rest of us for season 3 lol. But yeah, this is my favourite ever drama, and I love to see people discover and fall in love with it. It's an amazing series (and also gave me a complete adoration for Zhang Ruo Yun. I love his acting, and the man is so naturally charismatic, not to mention hilarious). Hope you enjoy season 2 just as much!
Yeah, loving this from the first two episodes. An exceedingly dark and brutal start but I'm more than OK with that. Also, just love seeing Xiao Zhan acting again. Missed the guy and I hope he gets more roles like this.

I keep re-watching those scenes....episode 21 was the best yet and wow there have been some amazing moments in this series. I have actually cried a fair few times watching this and I don't cry often. JitD/ MoDu is one of those few stories that has me in a perpetual chokehold (does not matter how many times I've reread it, which is a lot. Some points always get me). But...yeah...I'd already resolved I'd not be able to give this beautiful series anything less than a 10*. Loving every minute of it.

I only just found out about it despite watching and loving the drama as it aired (I'm rewatching WoH with this special episode in mind, so not sure what it's like). I'm told it's in line with how Faraway Wanderers airs, though.
