Steven also delivers brilliant acting ,, after JITD all the focus from fans even who don't follow the genere would…
Oh, definately. Zhang Xin Cheng is extremely talented and one of my favourite actors. Pretty much unrecognisable in every role I've seen him in (I do need to get around to seeing Bright Future, think I'll stick that on my watch list now to remind myself).
And I hope so. Created in China looks to be off to a great start.
Well, Li Xue also directed Nirvana in Fire 1/2 and The Disguiser. No wonder both the attention to detail and pacing are so good. Very interesting start, I think we're in for a treat with this one.
I fully agree with the comments that the poster is absolutely gorgeous....so eye-catching and beautiful use of colour. Fully onboard with anything thriller or horror-related that GMMTV puts out. Added plus that it's a sister-centered plot.
Not a single bl interests me anymore, it's nice to see people look forward and enjoy watching bls,I completely…
I try to stay positive, but I've dropped all the BLs I've started this year lol...I think I'm just holding out for all the upcoming horror/ supernatural ones tbh. School/ university settings don't tend to appeal to me much. I want more historical BLs, so I'm going to give this a try...if not, there's still Under the Moonlight (90s setting, but I'll accept it as it gives me To Sir, With Love vibes) and Interminable to look forward to.
can you suggest me some airing right now that as good as this plsss
Eh, I'm probably not the one to ask unfortunately, as I think I've dropped all the BLs I've tried to watch this year for one reason or another 😢. I do plan on checking out Memoir of Rati as I love historical settings but I'll see what it's like. Sorry for being useless!
24 full length episodes is so wild...not necessarily the sort of drama I tend to watch but I'll watch it to support more Chinese BLs getting aired internationally (censored as well as uncensored...the censorship sucks but I still wanna see Winner is King, Immortality, Eternal Faith etc at some point). Chinese storytelling, production value, and ofc the acting is just ❤️.
Really not a fan of romance and comedy together, but ngl that synopsis sounds great so I'll give this a try. Mile and Apo do have amazing chemistry after all.
I assumed it was from the trailer tbh but we'll see. Even if it's not I'm sure it will be great (I don't know if Zomvivor is a BL either, but...well...zombies so it's a hard sell lol).
Happy birthday, you beautiful, extremely talented lady! 🌹❤️ Thanks for being so inspirational and for all your beautiful masterpieces (Mo Du especially).
I may hold off tonight‘s episode and watch three tomorrow. I don’t know yet.
Yep, this is how my mind works as well 🤣zero impulse control when it comes to a good series. Likewise, I'll watch the new episode after work today and then grumble about waiting another 24 hours...oh well ^^.
The story and the actors are very well done. But I'm afraid that those who expect romance will deduct points because…
I think when the vast majority of airing dramas involve romance as a main genre, surely we're allowed at least one or two without it 🤣(or slight romance, which I tend to prefer. One or two sweet scenes are all I'd want tbh). Hopefully, people don't rate it down for that reason. The first four episodes were so promising.
👍Honestly, it's nice to see a few more non-romance dramas coming out of China (not hating on the genre, it's…
Yes, and that's a shame. I love c-dramas, but they aren't so experimental these days, and I've only just gotten back into them recently. Trying to think of a few sci-fi ones without horror (admittedly, I am a massive horror fan, so bear with me lol); Eternal Brotherhood (season 2 just finished airing) Die Now Justice in the Dark ("sci-fi-esque" to pass censorship, but not really sci-fi. I'll just mention it as it's an amazing series) Q18 (Taiwanese, not Chinese, but I'll mention it as likewise it's an amazing series with some very interesting concepts and ideas. One of my favourites from last year) Reset (not the biggest fan of the second half, but I can see the appeal. A tad too much romance for my liking) Three Body The Heart of Genius
Ngl this is single-handedly the BL I am most hyped for...it looks like everything I'd ever want and need in a romance story 🤣so fun and completely unhinged. I love horror/ supernatural BLs. I started watching Thai BLs around the time Shadow and The Sign were airing at the end of 2023. (I'm a bit late to the party!) and they were a couple of great dramas to start with. There was also The Whisperer, too, but...well 😢9/9 episodes for life, I guess... I was re-watching the trailer for Happy Ending, and Jeff still gives me goosebumps. The guy is so gorgeous and talented, and looks like he's having the time of his life. Hope we're not waiting too much longer for this one as, yep, this looks like a game changer and potentially my new favourite thing ever.

Very much falling in love with c-dramas all over again; they've been so interesting lately.
