Gonna go re-watch it, I think, that was a very strong first episode (and honestly I can't get enough of the soundtrack. No words, this defied all my expectations. Beautiful start 🌹❤️

I've not had much luck with romance dramas this year and was mainly holding out until the horror/ supernatural BLs start up again. Trying not to get my hopes up, but I'm strangely hyped for this one (maybe as I just want to see more of MileApo after Man Suang. That chemistry was just 🔥).

I'm certainly seeing this a lot in my country. It's quite alarming how widespread these incidents are and how desensitised people are to them. Generally I will avoid dramas which romanticise (or even normalise) these sort of behaviours. It seems extremely rare to actually find a romance drama which doesn't so something like romanticise stalking, abuse etc these days. Probably why I don't watch much within the genre anymore.

I just checked, and Khemjira seems to be airing next month, so *fingers crossed* that happens. Still no date for Goddess Bless You from Death unfortunately (or Happy Ending...I keep checking back for that one as it looks amazing). In a week or so, we get Enigma S2 (...finally!) and The Tipsy Mystery, so it's not all bad. The horror drought is almost over 😂
The world-building and the business side of the plot in the first episode were both great. It was a lot more intricate than I was expecting (honestly, if there is a full-on, business subplot going on, I'll likely love that).
My fingers are crossed for no scheduling delays and that the drama is well-received, as it looks very promising. I wasn't quite sure what to expect from an omegaverse adaptation, but, eh, I'm open-minded and the plot thus far is plotting. As this finishes airing in October (!) I shall see if I can hold off on watching anymore, for now, but that was an impressive first episode.
This one, along with Revenged Love, is definitely at the top of my BL list this year. Chinese BLs just hit different…
Fully agree, Chinese BLs are just 💓and a lot of my all-time favourite dramas seem to be danmei adaptations. You just can't beat Chinese storytelling. Just so happy we're getting c-BLs airing again (and uncensored ones at that).
