Just posting this to you too! J-drama wise we have Laundering (mystery/ horror/ supernatural) and Warau Salesman (psychological/ comedy/ drama/ supernatural) incoming. Love to see more horror/ supernatural dramas coming out ❤️

J-drama wise, we have Laundering (mystery/ horror/ supernatural) and Warau Salesman (this one isn't tagged yet, but the original, 1999 drama is tagged psychological/ comedy/ drama/ supernatural, which is...quite an interesting mix. Not horror but the supernatural/ psychological duo sounds 👍 to me). Always keep an eye out for horror or supernatural dramas as they are sooo good!
Hmm....fingers crossed for this getting subbed somewhere. It seems we're getting a couple of Thai and Japanese horror dramas this month. Which is great, it's one of my favourite genres, and maybe now I can stop complaining about the "horror drought" we've been having 🤣

Me either really. But that poster is certainly eye-catching and tbh I love how the synopsis is written. Quite lovely. and not to mention a little bit dangerous lol. Doesn't hurt to try something different once in a while, either! We'll see how this one plays out.
Ah, well, I was hyped for this months ago. Then they went and added Zhang Ruoyun as the main role 🤣(and possibly Chen Dao Ming...oh my). I miss ZRY in Republican era dramas. He really suits them and it's nice to see he'll be in one again after all this time *fingers crossed that Wang Yang gets added to the cast list at some point. That would be amazing*

Yep...the only "BL" I've completed this year wasn't technically a BL either, so 😒. I'm also somewhat nervous about starting this one for a couple of reasons, but shall see how I go. Might wait til a few more episodes are out before diving in to steady my nerves a bit. But it's lovely to see uncensored c-BLs being aired internationally tbh
I try to stay positive, but I've dropped all the BLs I've started this year lol...I think I'm just holding out…

I've been in such a sci-fi mood lately. (Well, I just watched the first episode of Memoir of Rati, and my inner WW1 nerd went a bit insane, so I think I'll like it.)
Well, quite predictably a 10* from me. I won't claim to be anything but completely biased and subjective about Mo Du as it's a masterpiece of a novel, and this was a wonderful adaptation. Heartbreakingly raw, brutally painful at times, but beautiful all the same. It's very strange to finally see this end after 28 months, but it was worth the wait. Now, I'm going to fangirl over re-watching this for a few months and attempt to move on (but I probably won't be able to move on 🤣).

Always nervous with j-dramas getting subbed (and I really don't want to miss any horror dramas from there).
