But apart from that… I am so so happy that my queen rocks… amazing performance by my girl… each and every minute of her scenes are captivating.. I jumped with joy seeing her as a queen.. her emotional scenes are always on point. Loved all outfits and how well she carried.

I was worried how she would carry as she is very young 22 as compared to all 30 year olds. But never even a second moved my eyes looking at her. I did not even noticed that there was YY next to her until she said .

The drama is still enjoyable because of leads and their acting. Few more days but I will miss Baifengxi and my queen so much, love her character even more now.

Lol.. just finished 35 and 36 episodes… so lame script, edited scenes, complete let down..

FL revealed the identity in a such a way that …, what is the heck to hide your identity? If it does not matter? Screen writers stupidly reached heights….and made viewers fools….

FL brother gets 15 min screen time and died with in blink of eye..…ML brother gets 20 episodes of screen time with boring plot made me skip everything.

FL father gets 10 min screen time makes me have such a great father ML father gets 10 episodes of screen time wants me to wish no one should have a father like him..,such a stupid family characters .. their acting also mediocre …

So .. all idiots got more screen time …if you are nice there is nothing to show according to this drama.

Agree! From Zhao Lusi's interview, I was impressed with how mature she approached her role, especially with how young she is. Bai Fengxi is cool and dashing, but Queen Xiyun is even more domineering and a total badass. I'm in love 😍😍😍

Who thinks BFX looks like Joan of Arc in battle gears? Fierce, formidable, fearless, and totally convincing! I don't think there is a better actress with the looks and acting skills for this role. She totally lives up to my expectation as a novel reader. Everything works for her in this role: her looks, her age, acting, etc ...

The representation of the "strong female character" here feels extra tokenistic and it boils my blood to the core. The writer was like "look she can fight and she's smart" but her cleverness and "fighting" skills were used only to help the male character and her youthful nature was also just used to cheer HIM up when HE was sad. Okay, we got it, they look cute tgth and she's very supportive of him but what about HER?? Where is HER arc???
I was personally not the biggest fan of THE LONG BALLAD but as someone who is always interested in studying and analyzing the way women are treated in media, canthelp but compare Zhao Lusi's arc and her setup in WRTW with her's in TLB and it totally PROVES the fact that female characters do NOT necessarily have to be physically strong or have a fierce personality to be considered valuable and cool.The writer in TLB actually considered the female character as herself, NOT her Male partner's "love interest" and aslo, broke the streotype that a woman like her can never be strong and have her own arc and development without losing her personality.

FXY's new wardrobe in EP36 is top notch. 😍 Especially her attire in the war room. The golden feather adornments on her shoulder and the crown shaped like flames really sells the whole phoenix motif they have for her.

I like the Aura around Feng Xiyun when she was crowned as the Queen… there was fire in her eyes, she looked determined to protect Qingzhou like a true ruler!

40ep ….. and only 4 more to the end and bit farewell to this great show. Saying goes as good people have a shorter life span, but I think good drama comes even shorter 😏. It would be a very good one if it has upto 50-60 ep to see through every kingdoms with more complex plots. I watch only 1-2 drama a year but now WRTW has raised a new bar especially for the lead’s characters.

Kinda weird not to expect any more trailers. I'm not ready for it to end yet 😭😭

I know the people who have read the novel say HC will end up being the Emperor of the " world" because the leads will give up their half of the world , but if this is really true then i will not be happy. I am sorry but even though i am sure that HC does not know Yu's real identity, he is has been okay with all the bad things that he did ( that he knows of) as long as it helped him gain the "world". He is the one who is benefiting from most of Yu's actions and that just annoys the hell out of me that he will end up achieving his goal. We haven't even seen him showing concern for the common people, he is more about power. I would prefer a leader who cares for the ppl like the main leads and the fl's family.

My eyes just tearing to watching the scene where FX spoke with sadness and tears beside his brother's dead body. the emotion of grief is really heart-wrenching 🥺😣😖😭😭😭😭💔

Instead of editing the last 10 episodes into a crunch, they should have shortened Lanxi's arc. This is indicative that the director was changed midway and the mandatory 40 ep limit was in effect. So sad bc bai fengxi should have had more screen time to show us how awesome she really is! I kept looking at the minutes left while watching these epsiodes. It feels so short! How fast 40 minutes pass by! 😭
