I absolutely agree with you. There is definitely a double standard, and most of the drama queens in the comments are feeling brave just because they’re behind a screen. I also bet that most of these people who act all high and mighty have either cheated or have never been in a relationship, judging by the way they write.
I also think that cheating is wrong no matter who does it, but I have the maturity to understand that this is just a drama. Because of that, I want to understand the characters’ psychology and their reasons for doing what they do, which should be normal in a comment section, but apparently isn’t in this one since it’s full of badly behaved children. Just look at how they’ve turned a kissing scene into some kind of s*x scandal, as if she’d slept with half the world… Not to mention that I expect this kind of behaviour from men, but not from women! And it hurt a little to see some women slut-shaming the FL instead of simply explaining why they disagree with her choices.

Well, you did write that if people don’t agree with the harsh comments, they can stop reading them, and that’s it, which would work if these kinds of not-so-cool comments weren’t in the majority. Again, I don’t like most of the choices both the ML and FL have made so far, but I’d rather analyze the reasons behind their choices, or anything in between, instead of insulting characters, actors, or other users here just for the sake of it.
