My boy KSH speaks in so many languages but all these portions have no subs cause Netflix rules only allow translation…
I only watched the first episode, but it seemed to me that subtitles were added in every scene. 🤔 Netflix usually doesn’t display subtitles when the spoken language in a scene matches the subtitle language you choose. For example, I chose Italian subtitles, so there were no subtitles during the scenes spoken in Italian, but there were for the others. They also skipped subtitles for some lines to avoid repeating the same information twice (for example, when the ML translated), but apart from that, it doesn’t seem to me that anything is missing. ☺️
Can you give some examples of western propaganda and social engineering found in dramas? Just curious, thank you!
I think you’re the one living in a bubble, honestly. I've been watching dramas since 2018, and I've seen many that have depicted the darkest parts of every society (I mainly watch Korean, Japanese, and Thai dramas, btw), so I don’t quite get why you claim some arguments are absent in Asian dramas... 😅 Btw, you’re the one full of preconceptions because you are just romanticizing Asian cultures based solely on how life is portrayed in dramas, which is well-known to be far from reality most of the time! 😅

Sameee, I am always so strict when it comes to Italian speaking in kdramas, and don't even care when it comes…
Generally, I’m not strict when Korean actors (or anyone, to be honest) speak Italian. I know it’s a difficult language, especially if the speaker's native language is not a Romance language. However, this case is different because the ML is an interpreter, so my expectations are higher, and I’m also curious to see what it will be like! ☺️
I think I’ll judge how they speak Italian a bit more strictly than usual this time, but only because ML is a multilingual interpreter in this drama. 😆😆 Can’t wait to see Go Younjung! ☺️
I really have to applaud certain fandoms doing everything in their power to bring hatred to our tiny community.…
Yeah, sadly, hate watching has been a thing for some time now, but who cares because they are the ones wasting their time doing it. I certainly won't waste mine talking to them! 🤷🏻♀️ The funny thing is that people on this site generally complain about tropes without realizing that even their favorite dramas have them! 😅
Not the ML casually passing a childhood trauma to a child with a smile while saying: "Enough with the tears, or tiger will come and eat you" in episode 2! 🤣🤦🏻♀️
Not a fan of Vincenzo drama but at least they didn't copy the whole verse from Bible or Quran.
I’m always open to learning new things when the other person is willing to explain, like you did. So thank you. We may not share the same view on this drama, but I appreciate how polite you were.

Okay, now I get it. I'll not be the one to tell you what you should be offended by or not; I'm not that type of person. What I can say is that nobody is glorifying Satan; it's just a drama made with the sole purpose of entertaining the viewer, and there are no evil goals behind it! Of course, if it's uncomfortable for you to watch, you are free not to watch it, but I hope you can agree with me when I say that all this fuss that has been made in the comment and the review sections doesn't help your cause at all.
You know what is funny to me? All these people who feel so outraged by this drama have watched Vincenzo, a drama that romanticized a real criminal organization that killed a lot of people in my country, and rated it highly. So, now I'm curious to know why is that okay, meanwhile, enjoying 'Genie, Make a Wish' is disrespectful? 🤔
seems most of the world is left or right no more middle, and vice versa its all gr8 10/10 or all fail 0/10 sadly…
I don’t think so. There are still people who rate dramas more objectively, but the problem is that the other two groups make more fuss, so the users who express their opinions in a more neutral tone end up becoming invisible on this site. 🤷🏻♀️
I haven’t seen so many people outraged by a drama with religious elements since the TV series Lucifer came out! 😅 Anyway, I’ve only seen the first episode but I liked it so far! 😊
