Have you ever seen an old drama (but I would consider some of the recent dramas too)? In these, FL is always a good inexperienced, and angelic woman who knows little outside the world of school-home/work-home, and men are portrayed as their knights in shiny armor (a tiring dynamic, don’t you think? It’s the moment to change things a little!)

Also, I don’t know what part of the world you live in… but it’s always all the way around: men with an active sex life are considered amazing by society, and women who are doing the same are seen by the majority as wh*res. It’s never the other way around. And this is what’s called “double standard”. Why does sexual empowerment in kdrama only go around women? Because men are never criticized and mocked by anyone like how it happens to women every day.
And again the ML is not conservative. Do you know that men can also be shy and reserved and decide to don’t talk about their sex life to the world? Do you consider these people conservative?

ML is not conservative just because he’s not showing off his sex life and FL is again just talking openly about her preference that’s it. Double standard means that a man and a woman are judged differently despite doing the same thing. Want an example? A man bragging about his sex life is considered a powerful man by others, a woman doing the same is viewed as a wh*re by society. This is what double standards mean. And again, here doesn’t apply because she is not bragging about anything and he doesn’t talk about it for a reason that maybe we’ll know about in the next episodes.
No, I didn’t watch it, but it’s on my PTW list, though. Anyway, you can’t pretend a screenwriter shows every single detail about a character's life and start to ask yourself: is knowing this specific detail important to the development of the story or is it just me that I’m curious about that. Anyway, I’m curious to know where you hear that ML is conservative because I don’t think nobody ever said it in the drama, as far as I remember.

Are you sure you know what “conservative” means? If this were truly a conservative drama, the FL wouldn’t be openly discussing her sexual experiences, and her sister wouldn’t be in a polyamorous relationship. The only conservative aspect here is that the FL needs to marry to get a promotion.
You can’t label a drama as conservative just because the ML isn’t portrayed as a stereotypical “bad boy” or alpha male. And about the so-called “double standard”: it doesn’t apply here. The FL is simply more open about her experiences, and the ML isn’t—whether it’s due to his lack of experience, shyness, or another reason. The fact that the FL talks more about it than the ML doesn’t mean there’s a “double standard.” It’s just a character choice.

If you're conservative, this drama isn't for you. There are plenty of old conservative dramas you'd enjoy more. So, why stay here just to complain? Is anyone forcing you to watch and comment "No gain, no love"? 🤔 (Spoiler: obviously not 😅).

Exactly. Mainly because generally speaking, the real first kiss in a romantic comedy kdrama is on episode 8, so I don't understand why most people complained! 🤷🏻‍♀️
But I agree, whether they kiss or not in tomorrow's episode, both actors are good drama kissers, so there is nothing to worry about. 😊

For Kim Youngdae, I've only watched "Sh**ting Stars". Anyway, in that drama ML and FL are so cute together, and the kisses are good.😊

Guys, no need to be upset about the kiss! It happened at the end of episode 7, so it’s totally normal that it was just a peck (considering that the alternative would have been a very long exchange of glances😆).

I’m not sure why you used the terms “misandry” and “reverse sexism” to describe the relationship between the FL and ML in this drama. While I agree that the FL is unfair to the ML, it doesn’t seem like she has an aversion to him or is doing anything that directly harms his career or personal life.
The real issue here seems to be the family dynamics. The ML and his brother are dealing with a controlling mother, and the FL’s decision to break up with him is more about stepping away from a complicated family situation rather than confusion about her feelings for ML.
Introducing a SFL wouldn’t resolve the core issue, which is the problematic behavior of the mother.
Also, SML and FL aren't colleagues. He’s an artist working on a project for the company where she works. Apart from that, I agree that the FL should set clear boundaries with SML, as his behavior is creepy.

I think there may be an error due to outdated information regarding Gong Yoo's character. While older articles mentioned that Gong Yoo was cast as Bai Li's husband, more recent articles state that his character is just an AI assistant.

This movie has an interesting storyline but leaves you with a strange feeling at the end because it treats every story superficially.
I think a 4 episode miniseries might have been a better option to tell all the protagonists' stories.

Yes, I'm aware. As I mentioned earlier, I like both lead actors in this drama, and the storyline seems promising, so I've decided to give this writer another chance.
Nonetheless, I still hope for a different outcome than with SITR. If this drama has similar flaws, it's not the end of the world, and next time, I may choose not to watch another drama from this writer. 🤷🏻‍♀️😊

I did like SITR at first but I remember that the end was so rushed and forced that ruined all the drama for me (and I usually tend to evaluate a drama as a whole, not just because of the ending). 😭
Anyway, I’ll continue watching this drama because I like both the leads and the story is interesting for now. I hope it’ll continue like this. 🤞🏻😊

I just finished watching the last episode and liked it. Overall, it has been a good drama, both sad and cute. Even though I'd have changed a thing or two.
As for the comments regarding the lack of chemistry between the main characters, I'm genuinely curious about your thoughts on "chemistry" in general? Because I think they have it, maybe even more so than the second couple, but I'm interested in your reasons why.

It depends on what you mean by 'distraction' because this drama isn't lighthearted and fluffy all the time (after all, the ML works with ghosts). However, it's still a good drama to watch for me. 😊

I think you might enjoy this one since you're into ghost-themed dramas. Give it a try for a couple of episodes and see if you like it. Furthermore, I think the main characters have chemistry; they’re too cute! 😊
