This is the third project Iâve watched with her as the FL, and I like her acting skills, so Iâll watch her future projects too if the plot interests me! I agree! I donât get why they tried to give both Reina and Tomoya a redemption arc in the final episodes. These two have been selfish their whole lives, and their sudden regret for mistreating the only person who cared about them just doesnât feel believable. Also, this version is based on the webtoon, where Reina actually kills Tomoyaâs mother, and ends up in prison for it. Honestly, that wouldâve been a more fitting ending for her character!
I would have preferred to see Reina in prison instead of her just killing herself. It wasn't a great exit, in my opinion, but since the character who died in Misa's place either survived or doesn't exist in this version, it makes sense that she is the one who took her place. đ€·đ»ââïž Another thing I didn't like is Tomoya saying sorry to Misa, as if this idiot was ever capable of feeling sorry to anyone... đ€Šđ»ââïž Overall, it was a good drama, even though I didn't like that they sped up some storylines. Just so you know, the Korean version is based on the novel, not the webtoon like this one, so there are some differences and a few more scenes, since it has six extra episodes. I didnât really like the ending of episode 8 because Iâm not a fan of misunderstandings. That said, Iâm curious to see what Wataru has in mind since he clearly didnât mean what he said to Misa.
