I first remember her calling him by his name in ep 17, the rain scene. If she did earlier than that, I don't remember. He…
So, I was way off on when he first called her A Li - I'm rewatching the early episodes and it was ep 8. I don't know why I thought it was as early as ep 2, but that may be because he called her another name a couple times, one that seemed rude or something (I think it meant little civet cat or something like that). I must've mixed up the two names in my mind. Sorry about that.
Uhmm.. Ngl when I started this drama I thought she is gonna be a scheming and exciting villian who plots and is…
Thank you! I was hoping for the same but after that move she pulled at the court trial, I wrote her off as being too unintelligent to take much notice of. She's reactive and violent (nasty combination) but not much else. I'm sorry to say but I mostly think of her as a drunk person, acting impulsively and thoughtlessly time after time. Big disappointment.
nah he still not have decent marry with fl. mostly likely they just engage.6months agos before fl meet her father…
Umm, did you watch the first episode?? From the very start of the first episode, when the FL woke up and felt someone lying on her, she thought it was her husband at first; obviously, they were sleeping together for her to assume it was her husband in bed with her.
After watching the trailers for the upcoming episodes, I think I'll wait for all the remaining episodes to drop (if I am able 🙏🏽🙏🏽😅) . This type of piecemeal viewing is detrimental to my bingeing heart 🚫
it's not that I pity him, but I'm very interested in his story. plus, the actor gives a brilliant performance
Actually, SYR reminds me of how I felt about Run Yu (Ashes of Love) and Hao Chen (Love and Redemption); I wanted to strangle them, while really appreciating their twists.
When I went through the cast list and saw there was a young version of SYR, I had been expecting they would give me some pity-inducing event from his childhood to get me to feel sorry for the adult SYR, and I was all prepared to not be taken in. However, it was a waste of effort on my part; while the event portrayed was pitiable, I became even more disgusted with SYR, and feel insulted on behalf of the person who had such high hopes for him.
And that mother of his is worse than he is; her nagging reminds me of the biblical proverb, "It is better to live in a desert land than with a quarrelsome and fretful woman." (Prov. 21:19). Thankfully, she only comes on sporadically, because she's getting on my last strained nerve.
It wasn't a problem at a beginning because I discovered the drama a little late and had to catch up. However, getting fully caught up and with episodes dropping at midnight my time, it's playing havoc with my sleep cycle. I keep telling myself I'll wait for morning to watch new episodes but that never happens 🤦🏽♀️
Now that we're expecting two episodes to drop tonight, I don't dare stay up to watch both. But I know myself well enough to know I certainly will attempt it 🙈
He started calling her A Li from the very beginning, maybe ep 2 (I could be wrong on the episode number, but it was quite early).
