I was pissed at first when Consort Li interfered but then I figured insanity was just as good a punishment as death.

Consort Li and her high-handedness had me kissing my teeth; looks like she wants to make a play for JL as well. She should be careful lest she loses the Emperor's 'favor' .

Very powerful. At first I was taken aback when she so easily said she forgave him, but she was merely pulling back a little to get a good punch in. Great scene.

Can they do any of that at this point? (If they could, they can cut out everything to do with Her Rabidness, Princess Wanting (but Never Having) for all I care. Since her epic show of stupidity at the Imperial trial, my tolerance level for her is very low.)

A lot is still in limbo (like where is/what became of JSR). I expect the family may start questioning the 'gardener' oddity after things settle down. Or it might be ignored or brushed over as unimportant compared to everything else that has to be dealt with.

I’m in 100% agreement. Every scene with Wanning makes me feel she’s a drunk needing a good douse of cold water to sober up. JSR, on the hand, is the real scary.
