I think she’s in the cast list as Huang Xin Yao; I saw the actress before in Gank Your Heart so I think she’s the one playing the head fairy. But I’m seeing the character she’s attributed to as Yu Lin; wasn’t Yu Lin the girl who got thrown out because she lied and said that Zhang Heng gave her the firefly stone?

I actually snorted when YD said “it’s inconvenient for a man and a woman to travel alone” … apparently this doesn’t apply to her and TZ 😂

No search, no rewind/fast forward buttons, and no override of your display settings, which means your screen can lock on you while watching if you don’t change your settings; it’s really mediocre compared to other streaming apps.

Can’t remember for the God of War but Dongfang is out of his by episode 3; his was particularly distracting to me 🙈

Definitely an overused trope! One other worn out trope that is very troubling to me is the delusional female love rival, especially where the ML states, in no uncertain terms, that he is not interested but the woman is still pursuing him and/or harassing the FL. Omigosh, I hate this trope so bad and I find it so disgusting and degrading to women. I feel like I die a little bit every time it comes up in a drama 😔

I’m not keen on body swaps either but this one was quite good. This is my first drama with the actress but the body swap scene impressed me as well. I like character development, so I have no problem if the FL starts out weak, naive etc but I get turned off soon enough if she remains that way for too long.

I wish the body swap part was longer, it was just so hilarious 😅

I’m like you - between our comments section here and YouTube, I’m scrounging around for all I can get. YOUKU did us dirty by depriving us of episodes on the weekend of all times 🤦🏽‍♀️

From what I can tell, the schedule is based on platform, not location. I see YOUKU YouTube is up to ep 17 for members, which is weird because Viki is up to 18 … I thought they were following the same release schedule 🤔

I’m using the app, which is up to ep 25. Free episodes on YouTube are up to 15.

In the first 9 days, we got 2 episodes every day but after that the schedule changed to 2 episodes on Mon-Tues-Wed and one episode on Thursdays. If you check in the photo gallery, there should be an image with the schedule for the YOUKU YouTube channel (both free and subscription) and the YOUKU app.
