Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!MBC Confirms "My Dearest Part 2" ExtensionMBC has confirmed the extension of My Dearest Part 2.…
Dedra, do you know the exact time it'll be released tomorrow (going by the clock), and the location in California since Viki is headquarterd there (Pacific time). I figure the time is based on their location. The rest of us can figure out time zones.
Why does the synopsis sound contrary? " he must experience death over and over again through 13 other lives. But if he can find a way to survive the imminent death coming for these lives, he gets to live out their lifetime.
I'm just gonna pray that this streams internationally either on Viki or Netflix, else I won't be able to watch…
Same, GoodRick. After debating whether I should let Netflix go, and deactivating my acct, half day goes by, reactivated my acct, price dropped involuntarily to include ads which last 30 quick seconds about every other episode. When I saw the new "tier" included ads I thought they would totally dominate whatever I was watching and would be so intrusive as to not be of worth to EVEN continue with a subscription, but that hasn't been the case. The ads appear so infrequently it surprises me when they do because there isn't a shift from drama/dialogue to ad. The first time my mind thought the ad was part of the drama. Yes, I'm rambling. Please forgive me.
The focus of this drama is not on romance. Itβs so well done.
No, they don't, and South Korea produces varied genres for our enjoyment,, and they are listed under every drama. The GENRES tags are there specifically to showcase the dramas to steer viewers to watch or not. They're also usually listed in order of the amount the genre is exhibited in the drama. In this case, why would a potential viewer read LIFE, DRAMA, MEDICAL, and with no mention of ROMANCE in the synopsis, genres, or tags, and be "concerned". Oh, *slaps up side the head*, this particular account asks the same question in comments under EVERY drama, sometimes multiple times, regardless of the synopsis, genges, or tags. It's gotten old for many of us. NOT ranting at you, JulySnow2. It seems like the account uses the question to troll.
It hasn't aired for the local viewers yet. International viewers only get the dramas or movies AFTER the episodes…
I don't think the networks in SK factor in just how privileged we international viewers consider ourselves to be. What IS unacceptable is the arrogance of some international viewers demanding rights OVER the local South Korean community. I've seen enough subjugation in South Korean dramas, and reading of their history, to understand they'll do whatever is necessary to preserve their traditions, culture, and people, even if it means delaying an episode so their people can watch a game, instead of having to choose between the game or the drama, or having the production company expend more resources to appease viewers outside of their local area.
Lily Alice, thank you for the info. It's greatly appreciated.
It's rather amusing seeing the International community get discombobulated, angry, and sometimes demanding when they don't get "their" dramas or episodes when "they" want, as if the country of origin has any obligation to any viewer other to their own local community. Guess what? The local programming in South Korea has been like this forever. It caters to the locals.
RAISE YOUR HAND if you've ever watched a drama where the locals are anticipating, watching, cheering, celebrating a win, or bemoaning their loss for an Olympic event, baseball game, soccer (football), etc? βπ½ Now, raise your hand if you've seen a protest or a picket line in front of a network station in South Korea demanding they air the episodes and dramas when they want them to be aired, even if during games.π¦

I practically wear out Viki's request form:
