"a romantic comedy that viewers can enjoy without thinking too much" In other words, a mindless unimaginable tropey regurgitatian along the lines of which we've seen too many and THEN we demanded better from the writers. This writer apparently didn't take our wishes to heart in her 4 year hiatus.
No, it isn't a BL. There are a couple of scenes depicting the interest (verbal) between Jun Hee and his college friend and of the same with them holding hands in a car right before their accident so BL fans unofficially labled it a BL (which by Genre standards would be the ENTIRE drama). Both scenes are less than 15 mins. They conssider relationships in every drama between male friends from a sexual bias, and thus all are BL.
Well Bless!!! I thought I had a handle on this until Han Jun Hee asks the ML if he's Yeon Jun or Si Heon and he responds "Jun Hee." The original Han Jun Hee was gay. If he IS Jun Hee then why were they be bf/gf if he is gay? So, was his BODY was that of Si Heon when they were in coIlege, then I can understand who's who. But if he really is Han Jun Hee who respinded to her then wahy is he so angsty about her? Shouldn't he tell her they've never met and he's gay, or has he traveled back in time too? advise watching this with NO enhancements, if you get my drift. It requires a clear head.
Romance? What romance? I wasn't aware there was any romance. Just kidding. It's from 2011.Back then when a drama listed Romance, it HAD romance unlike teasers/forced we see in some dramas now.
You never cease to amaze me with this question as every time it elicites a slight snicker of pleasure at your consistency. I check your List often when I'm in need.
Three months isn't too short of time for a rewatch again, since you've raised the question. While waiting for My Dearest Part 2 nothing new seems to hold my interest except the "older" dramas.
Im a western habitant of the world, but I keep fact checking before posting anything ridicoulous in here same…
I think MOST Westeners would know my comment was a generalization. Many would not be offended as they didn't see themselves in the comment. They weren't offended because they haven't posted such. Saying "most, part, some of them" would then entail including groups, ages, ethnicity, education levels, etc and each would entail excluding blahblahblah. Should I now exhaust this comment by explaining "I think MOST Westeners", or...
P.S. I'm sorry for disturbing your view of Westeners' attitudes which far too many cling to which inhibits their growth.

If I'd included examples of reasons FOR continuing a drama with another season in my comment it would've been much too long. There are multiple reasons why a drama HAS to have more than one season, or PARTS. AOS and My Dearest are perfect examples. Having gotten use to the multiple season format as American TV has run into the ground. I stopped watching American TV because of it (and the trashiness). I'd like most dramas from Asia to be more than one season, yet in my heart I know most would suffer for it. If I don't GENERALIZE, then should I call accounts out specifically? I don't think so when most of the offending behaviors ARE of Western origin, and they do NOT search or fact check before posting. They just run with their thoughts. Generalizations are an umbrella term. If the mindset doesn't apply to you specifically, then praise God, and I thank him we are not all the same, ClaudiaKdramaLover!!!
Thank you for adding the P.S. Otherwise I would've immediately presumed you are definitely from the West (search for Western Countries), SPECIFICALLY the United States of America. Americans are notorious for having closed ears (not listening to others' viewpoints, not respecting others' opinions, twisting words to suit their fancy), and for their lack of reading skills. You not only did all 3 points of closed ears, you didn't comprehend what I said, which is included in reading skills. You also didn't read my comment under the spoiler. So, basically, you've been adopted into the American mindset. See "If this comment offends you, then it's probably because you have displayed this behavior."
P.S. When someone has labled their comment as a personal RANT, readers presume it's a personal rampage. I, from the extreme West, have every right to insult my own arrogant, closed ears, ENTITLED country.
Marcus, said something about that the other day, some sort of "law" don't recall the wordings, but he said the…
Who is this Marcus who doesn't know what they're talking about? Is he a relative of Hermine Voltaire who said My Dearest writer took dialogue straight from GWTW an inserted it into MD? Part 2 starts in Oct. No definitive date as yet.
so.. reading comments I'm confused, is there a Season 2? or is the released 10 episodes already Season 1&2? i.e.…
The 20 Episode drama My Dearest is being broken up into 2 PARTS, NOT SEASONS, due to the Asian Games 2023 which MBC will air during the interim. First 10 episodes before the Games air and the last 10 episodes after the Games have concluded. MBC is not ruled by Netflix.

Don't let Western ignorance sway you.
