Take conjecture, such as the original commenter's, with a grain of salt on ANY drama. Slinging s*** hoping it will stick prior to the official cast list being posted in hopes it will be his "I-told-you-so" if he's correct.
My Dearest doesn't have a season 2. The Asian Games 2023 will interrupt the 20 Episode drama after the halfway point (10th episode) and will carry forward with the last 10 episodes in October once the games are concluded.
Do we have any news about season 2 ? ^^ Like has it been already fimed? Is it currently editerd? When season 2…
There is NO season 2. The second half (part 2) with the final 10 episodes will air in October. The 20 episode series will be halted halfway due to most of ROK focusing on the Asian Games 2023. Didn't you see the Related Content under the synopsis above? Part 2 is a CONTINUATION of the series, NOT a second separate series (second season).

"And probably Ryang Eum will die as he is not included in the second part cast."
I haven't read anywhere online who is included (or omitted) in the full cast for Part 2. Besides the 5 listed on My Dearest Part 2 (listed on every other site) who else has been cast?
I didn't understand what happened with YeonJun in this episode. First he tells his wife that he will be faithful…
Great observation regarding the paradox. I love how the writer intertwined little bits of real history into each episode. You sound like you've read up on Korean history like I have.
High is this stii airing ?I only see 2 episodes on VIKI.
Viki is showing 1-6 episodes so far with 100% EN subs. Episode 7 is at 99%. Episode 8 will air later today. I don't watch raw. I rewatch the last 2 while waiting for complete subs on the newest. I catch so many more details this way. But hey, I'm old as dirt and have a lot of patience.
Maybe the writers want GC to fall in love with JH for who he is and not 'just' for what he did for her. IDK. She…
I agree. To fall in love with what's REAL (Jang Hyun) vesus the illusion she's been under for her "at first sight type of love" with a shell (Yeon Jun). She's getting to KNOW Jang Hyun through all the good, the bad, and the ugly. Yeon Jun, she knows OF him after all these years. Quite a difference there.
Thanx for the tip -- added to my list. I'm going to check it out after My Dearest concludes.
I watched it in 2019. Thank you for the reminder to add it to my list also. Now to rewatch so I can give it a rating. It was one of my pre-MDL watches.
Well, that was a letdown. Lowered my score because it takes liberty with how little Joseon believed they could negotiate peace. Only historical in that Joseon surrendered to the Qing dynasty and were subjugated.
This is brilliant writer Moon Man Se's third script. Here's hoping he's busy with a new one at the moment. Shout out to casting for their excellent decisions in who to include and who NOT to include. Writer and Casting made this drama a stand out. It's wonderful to watch something that does NOT have Lee Kyung Young in it.
August 15, 2023. "With only halfway through 2023" Please do your math. July would be the halfway point of any year. Most haven't hit OTT platforms, so the article must be directed to the national audience of ROK. Dream, nada, snoozer. The Point Men, should have added it's available on Viki with a RENTAL fee of $4.99. The Devil's Deal, watching now in hopes at least something from this list has made it been worth reading this list. Jung_E, oh my, how awful can a movie be, let me show you with this one.
"13 Best Korean Movies of 2023 (So Far)" If the list really is the BEST so far, then I'm not looking forward to the remaining 3 1/2 months left in 2023. 2023 has been a stinker for SK movies. Please prove it otherwise, I beg you.
Edited: The Devil's Deal, should also state in this article it is available on Viki with a RENTAL fee of $5.99. I refuse to rent on top of paying a yearly subscription.
