At the 53:14 minute mark he clearly says "Who would want to use a sick girl." and again at 54:31 Uncle says to the American "I will tell Soon Young your f***ing secret." and again at 1:13:36 "She ended up walking into her own grave." Uncle KNEW the purpose of the "adoption" from the beginning, and in the end Uncle was happy because he bought a car. Rewatch the movie. I think you watched an entirely different movie.

LOL After reading this article and the synopsis AND knowing it's Korean written, directed, and acted based on the webtoon "Gukminsahyeongtupyo" (which is Korean) AND the base audience is Korean, why would you think the writer, Jo Yoon Young, would veer from her native Korean values?

I won't a watch a second bc of the western imperialism portrayed in episode 7. It was exceptionally disgusting.

You must have this confused with another drama. I will add that many LOVE TSLOMS bc it's a feel-good-sit-back-and-enjoy-with-no-angst drama.

How does Comedy pass for a Genre for One Day? How does Romance pass for a Genre in One Day? There was NO COMEDY nor ROMANCE in One Day. Whoever added these were obviously thinking of another movie.

Hmm, no, I don't idolize you. I wanted to say that first. Now...I, more times than not, take your reviews to heart before I decide to watch something. Usually, I find I should have listened and not wasted my time when I dove into a drama you had said was a waste. Rarely, I've liked something which you haven't. This drama I've debated over, and today after reading your comment, well, HOW I LOVE YOU NOT HOLDING BACK your disdain. I was about to hit the first episode, but will throw it in the Not Inerested pile.

Edit: I watched almost the first episode and couldn't stomach anymore.

The viewers have no idea what the writer has in mind at this point, as of episode 12.

I love seeing a good solid friendship in dramas. The way true loyal friends are there for each other and would die for one another without hesitation. That kind of friendship nowadays gets turned into something sexual. Sad really to have what's good turned on its head to mean something entirely different.
