Title The Art of Negotiation Spoiler
I wish to spit in Director Ha's face
Same. He looked like a loan shark in the finale too, and I want to see a comeuppance for that little pion Im Hyeong Sup whether it's excruciatingly from Choi Jin Su or by his own making from the company.

Title The Art of Negotiation Spoiler
This is long and contains spoilers so please skip. Then again, it IS under a Spoiler so you opened knowing this, so...

Post watch, I'm rewatching, which I've only done for one other drama. The Art of Negotiation ending couldn't be more clear they are aiming for a second season. Yun Ju No holding a sign saying "We hope our viewers look forward to the second season" would've made the finale perfect.

I need questions answered!!! I'm looking forward to: why the last scene needed to be about the gender reveal of Dr. Park's pregnancy. And why the hesitancy in answering "Yes" when Theo was asked if he was happy it would be a boy? Theo dislikes Director Ha, and it's apparent in the first meeting between Samoel (PPF) and Ha. Theo acted like the typical sibling that can badmouth a family member, but all fury comes out if someone else does the same in his presence. Too, when Theo was playing the 'bad cop' he threw a wrench in Dir Ha's scenario with Cha Ho Jin. Dir Ha didn't expect it to go THAT far and had to scramble. Why wasn't Theo in attendance at the last board meeting when Mr. David introduced the newest member of the Samoel Group (PPF)? The whole Chairman having one 'Apple of my eye' child leaves huge holes in who exactly begat Theo, Jin Su, and Ju No. Seeing Theo in the picture above Chairman's head in Ep 7 doesn't explain their relationship.

Going by Jin Su's behavior, clothing quality, backpack, and his living arrangement, he comes from a wealthy background. Could he be Director Lee's son? It would make sense that Jin Su started as an Intern in Sanin before his father retires. Our sweet overly anxious sponge has made a mistake during each acquisition. Sure, he's learning, but his mistakes could easily have been a definitive failure for the Project M team.

I LOVE that the writer uses real life examples of the art of negotiation as taught by business schools and in University courses to 'teach' the audience, and using the Intern as a substitute for the audience in learning all these terms and ins & outs of M & A. The precepts can most certainly be applied to everyday relationships.

Why does Director Lee have so much faith/loyalty to Ju No? Is it bc he knew Ha had set Jumbo Pharma Investment on Ju No's back?

Director Ha hasn't brought Sanin Group down yet, after the Project M team resolved 5 cases for the benefit of Sanin. but it sure seems like he was trying, although, it's been from sheer incompetence. The talk at the table at first board meeting sure suggested the Director had gotten the Sanin Group in the current situation. If they thought so, then, is this why CCO Lee brought our main character back, and why not sooner? Why let the deby get this far?

The 5 cases have involved each of our team members in a personal way, including Ju No in the last. Director Ha was finally outted and fired. Even though he is the newest, loan shark looking, Director of Samoel Fund both Director Theo and Mr. David know what a bubbling fool Mr. Ha is, so how is this going to play out.

The drama is a hella lot more complicated than it lets on. On rewatch, the details, nuances, and intricacies are blowing my mind, which I didn't grasp the first time. It's obvious writernim consulted an expert in the field while writing the script. I also love how she/he's made our Ju No with a heart in contrast to Mr. Ha. The 'cases' have all been resolved with a focus on the human aspect, and not just from the usual all for profits & people be damned position of M & A. Another lesson from writernim's consults, I'm sure.

Still, the biggest question I have is *why would a most successful company, such as Sanin, accumulate debt to the tune of 11 trillion won which is $.7,913,099,777.00 USD (United States Dollars current rate). Not a single person in that large company, with all its subsidiaries, points it out before it even reached 1 million, or 1 billion at the most? *Why were the Directors shown as bumbling idgits in the first board meeting scenes for not knowing how to run a large corporation? How could a company of this magitude BE this succeddful with this many bumbling idgits as Directors? Was it to show how easily Director Ha could run Sanin Group into the ground in pursuit of a CEO position? And what good would a CEO position be if the company had to declare bankrupcy? I hope the drama includes a shakeup of the Directors bc Chairman Song needs people who are competent in their positions, especially since CCO Lee wants to retire, and he too made mistakes. Which leads to another question: who is doing the actual work at Sanin bc the Directors seem to do nothing but gather, dine, and brown-nose Mr. Ha.

ps. I know it's fictional, but I haven't been this egrossed in the dynamics of a drama in like forever. I hope these questions (mine) will be answered, and I'm looking forward to seeing more easter eggs from our Project M team in the second season. I adored how writernim included these hints for upcoming 'cases'. I didn't notice them upon first watch.

One final note: I hope Ju No learns how inappropriate it is to have a child call him Daddy right after the death of the real father (his bro). It's an affectionate term and takes years, if ever, for a child to reach that point. Maybe our all knowing 'teacher' has a thing or two to learn himself.

Thank you, I guess I was thinking in the currency that is portrayed in the drama. 😂
As we should think in the currency in the drama bc it IS a Korean drama made in Korea for Korean viewers. It's easy to figure out the amount in ANY Kdrama, or when other foreign currency is brought up in a drama.
As of today, googling 11 trillion won shows the result of 7,995,667,801.00 USD. No having to figure it out for ourselves. There were no mistakes in the translations. The ONLY problem I saw with the amount was that NO company would allow debt to accumulate anywhere near this extent before alarm bells were blaring. But I get it. It's a fictional drama.

If you've watched TAON like 24% have, please use the spoiler button when it's about something that's a FACT in the drama.

There are 54% who PTW, meaning they don't want to know specific details unless they ask first.

It takes less than a second to hit the little Spoiler box to the left of the big Post button. Please be sweethearts and not spoil it.

If you've already commented with a Spoiler and didn't hide it behind the REVEAL SPOILER, please edit your comment and hit that Spoiler box. Everyone will love you for it!!!!!!!

Title The Art of Negotiation Spoiler
If this is true, then you are a lowly thief. You've stolen the pleasure of finding out for themselves, for everyone,…
Doesn't matter who "that guy" is. Spoilers are info that HAS BEEN provided in a drama. Comments can be speculative, or Users can theorize about what is ongoing. From your comment, if based on your feelings, if you'd commented earlier who you thought was his son, it would be a theory or speculation. Outright stating it after having seen the episode or the entire drama is a spoiler.

EDIT: After watching, I see your comment " I had a feeling from early on that guy was the chairman’s son." as not being a spoiler since it's still just a theory that won't be answered unless there's a 2nd season. Neither you, nor anyone else knows for sure if he is the Chairman's son, even though it's heavily implied. I apologize for calling you a pleasure thief and selfish. But it's always safer to use the Spoiler button just in case viewers take it the wrong way, like I did.

Whoever added the Tags should leave out Age Gap [Real Life]. It's biased.
Biased as gendered ageism or ageism by the person adding or editing the Tag. Maybe they want more credit for each Tag. Who knows. I don't think the Tag should be used on ANY drama or movie profile. It adds NO relevance to a fictional drama when the ML and FL are apparently not close in age, while the Age Gap (Drama Life) Tag takes care of it, which shouldn't be used either. I don't know a single person who hasn't sight to see the dif in their ages, and it can be looked up easily if not. I won't start on the Tags that are omitted like when a r*pe is heavily implied, etc. The OP's "Really what a age gap !!!" just hit me all wrong at the moment.
*spoiler for length

I understand your comments and agree to it. I created this acct to find like-minded people to discuss drama but…
True. Any dissent is viewed as hate or anti-whatever-actor is in a drama. Best advice for anyone who isn't a clone is to not argue with the clones, and continue offering your opinions. No hate, no contempt towards the clones, and no apologies. One day their derailment of free speech will bite the clones in the boohiney.

I call the ones who FF then asks asinine questions that were already answered if they'd watched the entirety of the episodes Lazy Viewers. They want others to do the work for them.

LOL. What happened to MDL? The comments this year is primarily about complaints about the actors, or how the writer…
Many do have valid complaints, however the majority take up more MDL space. What they fail to realize is they're getting exactly the quality in dramas after giving all those 10s (which is MASTERPIECE equivalent) or 9s for prior works by the same writers. They told them that's the quality they prefer so why should the writers do better. And as we all know, the youth focus on actors as they're more female viewers than male, and they certainly don't care about the story, or the plots, or great writing as long 'their' actors have plenty of screen time. It's a situation they've caused all on their own. LOL.

SO bad the screenwriter doesn't show her face AND the director doesn't have his name listed. Go ahead and watch it, then come back and tell I was wrong to give it the lowest rating.

No way can you tell me this was Yang En You's first role!!! Where and how did I miss "Mo San Mei saved orphan girl Wu Xiao Wen from almost being "cremated.""? I don't recall the child almost being burned alive.

Ugh, this was on my Viki watchlist for over a month. Of course now when I want to watch it you have to pay. Seriously,…
Agreeing with you 2 years past, and they're worse now.

This is by far the funniest article I've read of lo_ve's.

*Han Hyo Joo's side hasn't responded to the casting reports
*He restarts his journey to the ground (no explanation)
*will reportedly be the next work of director Choi Jung In
*script will be penned by writer Hang Hae Yeon (no previous works given)
*will reportedly be produced by Studio S
*premiere date and broadcast channel of Your Ground are still under discussion
*no reports yet on which actors will join Han Hyo Joo

Is this what one calls a nothing burger? It offers nothing conclusive.
