the second episode made me cry...i used to work like that 3 years back i love this drama
It was a little too close to home in the realism. In my state in the US a 16 year old died while cleaning a machine in a poultry plant in 2023. His arm was caught and he was dragged into the machine.
Such a poorly written article, and if it was copy/pasted, then shame is still on the one who submitted the article. Buried, is his answer: NOT TRUE.
"DEX is reportedly one of the leads of the upcoming K-drama Men of Harem.
On June 19, media outlets reported that DEX will be one of the leads of the upcoming K-drama Men of Harem.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>DEX's side responded to the casting reports. According to DEX's agency, "It is not true that DEX will appear in the upcoming K-drama Men of Harem. The rumors are groundless."<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
According to reports, DEX will star as Bae Suzy's character's concubine. Bae Suzy is currently reviewing the offer to lead the upcoming K-drama.
"he discovered what being a character actor is all about" and didn't hesitate to say giving one's all, like so…
He has, as in past tense. We'll see going forward.
"He has mostly taken on supporting roles" WRONG, he has double the Main roles than support roles from the start of his career.
"until his performance as a villain in Flower of Evil" "although brief, caught viewers’ attention. His acting in that role was exceptional." I wouldn't know. I haven't gotten past Ep 2 so I can't speak of his exceptional performance,
"he’s the kind of actor who grows and improves with every new role he takes on." isn't that EXPECTED from actors and actresses? If not, then they won't be around for long, and he really has been around for a long time; 23 years, in fact. So, it was nice to see the 44 year old's self reflection into his career.
One quick question: WHY are Services listed (4) when The Attorney is NOT available on any of those services? In the EDIT, they're all listed as Unavavilable. Why are they listed above?
Yang Se Jong and Jang Dong Yoon would make great fraternal twins or bros in a drama together. I was looking forward to this until I saw........................................................................................................................Disney+.
Is this as good as when life gives you tangerines ??
Jensen, it's different, yet just as good IF one considers WFGYT as rare masterpiece quality (which it is).
Excellent indept writing, story, direction, cinematography, each cast member holding their own, no overdone tropes, and mystery (just when one thinks they know what the plot is, they find out they didn't have a clue, example, Mr Park).
I really found mi ji and hosu dating era the best, people usually tend to rush kiss and bed scenes between lovers…
The way their relationship has unfolded over the past 10 years (+) has been realistic, and a great representation of the longterm bf & gf and marrieds I've witnessed around me. Rushing a relationship regardless of how long one has known the other person, and especially adding s** into the mix early, is the definition of a breakup or divorce waiting to happen. I've seen that dynamic way mre often than the first scenario. S** too early on stops the 'getting to know one phase' that is so crucial in a relationship.
They did live up to the title in 1, so we need a 2? Clearly I have not seen this but....... ijs lol
I agree. The ending episode of S1 wasn't interesting enough to warrant a season 2. BUT it is Netflix, isn't it? Dragging out more seasons to keep viewers subscribed.
Really enjoying this show; the FL's bad hair cut does not detract at all. Any explanations for the weird hair?
I remember a time when most of the young women had that same haircut. She looks adorable with it. Good to see "the FL's bad hair cut does not detract at all."
Happy birthday!! This is one of the longest lists I've seen on MDL and she's a guest character in everything!
Most background actors & actresses don't have a profile on MDL bc they are employed as EXTRAS on sets, as the people we see walking past on the street, working in an office, one of the crowd in a festival, sitting at the news desk, holding a door open for one of the leads or support characters, floating down a river face up yet dead, or such, and yes, if they all had a profile, then their lists would be just as long. Calling her 'role' Guest is wishful thinking on this extra's part.
Having considerable work in dramas/movies is the beauty of working as an Extra. Their character is limited to 1, partially 2 episodes, and don't have any speaking scenes. You're able to be employed consistently if you don't make yourself stand out too much. I give kudos to the woman for tooting her own horn (or whoever is). If not her, then who will.
Aside from the drama, Choo Young Woo's character Lee Geum Son had one of the finest haircuts I've see on an actor in I don't know how long. Episode 5 on the rooftop was a highlight. Someone is surely skilled.
I binge-watched this series in one sitting and absolutely loved it from beginning to end. Each episode kept me…
Those that liken it to JW are probably FROM America. Unable to admit that other countries (mainly Asian) have countless productions well prior to 2014 when JW was released, and set the standard for this genre, they revert to taking credit for the genre with their JW comparisons.
I am just hoping somehow by the power of the creators of the series - a second season is in development. He technically…
Offensive comment promoting a series produced in the USA, on an Asian drama & movie lovers site. Is this how the new SPAM will be promoted, in a comment?
John Wick without the pencil or the dog, and with knives instead of guns.
LOL. Sadly, better days gazed upon the actor. It's been time for the multiple season JW series to be laid to rest, but on the other hand, American series with multiple seasons/parts are just one of the reasons why viewers turned towards Asian entertainment. So, is anyone game for a John Wick Season 10 starring KR when he's 85?

I so agree with you on So Ji Sub.
