Review Blind
Please don't write any more reviews. I'm glad I didn't listen to what you wrote.
🤣Without looking at your profile, I can guarantee you gave Blind a 9 or 10 rating. This is why SK keeps providing mediocre scripts. Actually, viewers & Users NEED reviews such as this.

Well, with the overly extended cameo of Yoo Yeon Seok in Tastefully Yours, he could be in 3 episodes, for all…
Oh, don't take "I'd much rather see someone overacting than being a standin for the cardboard cutout" as excusing his lack. It doesn't excuse anyone's lack. To me, overacting and lack of acting skill are one in the same, with the first compensating for the latter fact.

One would think after 31 roles that someone would offer the young man a bit of advice. He's far from being a chameleon in his roles which, in part, defines a great actor. Great actors are so immersed in their roles one doesn't see 'the actor', just the character.

In the drama I finished rewatching yest, he could've been plucked from any other drama he was in, and it was so obvious when the support roles were examples of excellent acting.

Pinky, viewers need diverse opinions bc it could be one opinion that opens others eyes and helps them get off the agreement train. Mass agreements limits freedom of speech, and actually might be intended for that purpose.

I didn't read any other review that mentioned normalizing the sexualizing of a minor, (referred to as "a kid") by the adult male main character. It's reviews such as yours that viewers need more of. Viewers will put forth every conceivable argument for continuing to watch what use to be a universally held moral standard when it came to minors. Now, the excuses for their 'entertainment' are the confirmation that Netflix and other OTTs, dramas, & movies have done an excellent job in normalizing degenerate behaviors. By the time beastiality is introduced, and it will certainly be, viewers will not be able to bemoan its existence. Thank you SO much for your honest review. It's more than good to see there are still others who haven't sold their souls for their 'entertainment'.

EDIT: I've learned that if our comment is the last on a page it can't be edited or deleted until someone else either replies back or comments under our comment.
So....instead of saying "Viewers will put forth every conceivable argument for continuing to watch", my Edit is Viewers will put forth every conceivable argument for continuing to condone such behaviors.

Review Outside
Mark Wahlberg wasn't in Outsiders, and was directed by Carlo Ledesma.

thank god it’s just a cameo
Well, with the overly extended cameo of Yoo Yeon Seok in Tastefully Yours, he could be in 3 episodes, for all we know. Yes, he does overact. He's much better in comedy. I wonder if his amblyopia (right eye) has anything to do with it, in hopes others won't notice (the camera). I will say I'd much rather see someone overacting, than being a standin for a cardboard cutout that was originally going to be used in a role in a drama.

Title The Nokdu Flower Spoiler
I don't know how I missed this when it came out. It is amazing that this drama is so underrated. I gave it a 10…
I finished a rewatch early early this morn and upped my rating by a half point, yet took off a half point for the use of flashbacks for scenes we'd already seen. New flashbacks of scenes that weren't shown in the drama previously and which added to the story were rare. The Nokdu Flower and Mr. Sunshine go hand in hand timeline (history) wise. Def, Choi Moo Sung, is a fav of mine.

Which TV series a few months ago? "Something similar to another TV series a few months ago."
How pathetic. TDL is one I haven't watched.

Giving them another chance in hopes they've changed is understandable, but when they're consistent in crossing the line with you, as stated during this last encounter, I think it's time you put You first. They aren't going to change.

I assume you have 2 feet that could walk away, to shut down the exchange. Be Bold.

I've never 'promoted' another User on MDL, yet, in this case I will bc her posts in Feeds really speak to the heart of not depending on others for validation of our self worth. Sure, we've heard it often but a daily reminder doesn't hurt.

Comparing your life to others's is soul destroying. Don't do it, and don't let anyone else do it for you. I don't log into some social media.bc of this. FB is notorious as a comparison site. So is Istg. Lives are promoted as being better, but one doesn't really know what goes on in their hearts or in their private lives. They could internally be enying you for all you know.

Set boundaries bc the old classmate clearly crossed the line. Besides what you absolutley won't tolerate from others, boundaries can be for one's self too, by not allowing anything that will harm us emotionally or physically from invading 'our space'. Usually emotionally. Thank you for commenting, honeymin.

At this point, I'm finishing this out of pure spite. It’s only 10 episodes, I’m already on episode 7 (or 8)…
LOL. So well said. Reminds me of when my father would say "Don't cut your nose off to spite your face". I'm staying just to see how badly the last 2 episodes will be written. It will still be called a Masterpiece and given a 10 rating by those who like seeing drivel.

I'm not disagreeing with your entire opinion, just the 2nd sentence, which was specific to the drama by saying "It's the rare k-drama.....". A broader commentary wouldn't include "It's". How much more specific does one need to be. IT'S = IT is. IT= this drama.

This site makes it very easy to distinguish between those who care by wanting other Users to get the same pleasure as they did the first time they watched, and those who I call a pleasure thief who love to tell other Users what they saw in hopes it will diminish their viewing pleasure. The latter are selfish and steal from others. THEY ARE TOO LAZY TO HIT A LITTLE SPOILER BOX.

Agree. It was absurd, especially as you said bc the writer had already set the tone in the early episodes as to why Motto failed for our main male character. The taste wasn't the same even after following the recipe exactly, and our female lead character's not being bothered bc 2 dishes made by 2 dif people aren't the same. Now we're getting into the "viewers really are idiots and must have short attention spans territory" as if by the end of ep 5 we were told directly.

"It's the rare k-drama that successfully subverts clichés and gives the impression that it's something new." My opinion begs to differ. It's def new though. Unlike any 10 episode drama one has ever seen before. Taking the usual 16 episode formula and trying to make it work in a 10 episode drama.
