"wdym you took the blame for something you had absolutely no hand in?"Considering pufferfish preparation is regulated…
If so, then her idgit self at the time deserved to be dismissed. *but I'd still like to know why she took the fall for him. I hope that is explained before the ending, and too a more logical reason for her action, other than love.
"wdym you took the blame for something you had absolutely no hand in?"Considering pufferfish preparation is regulated…
Why? Bc even though you knew about the implication of the pufferfish scenes some viewers didn't. Old teaching habits are hard to break. Your comment prompted me to respond why the scene was even worse than most viewers saw it.
Even if she is innocent, one can understand the thinking of those who seek revenge after being victims of horrible…
I know this was directed towards Mu Hyul, but it's hilarious you read his/her comment and came away with "Sounds like you also have a grudge against this alleged victim yourself so it might not be easy as you say not to hold one." Now how is Mu Hyul going to prove he/she doesn't know the alleged victim, bc holding a grudge against someone means they know each other, and the alleged victim has done some sort of harm to Mu Hyul personally.
Check your reading comprehension bc Mu Hyul said the same thing I did with more complex exhortation into NOT entertaining vengeful thoughts.
Even if she is innocent, one can understand the thinking of those who seek revenge after being victims of horrible…
I completely agree, and still question how it could be a thought given I have a horrible backgound that would demand having the abuses acknowledged by no less than 5 people in my past. But I never ever had a thought of revenge. I don't carry that much hate in my heart. There's no room for it. And I'm a firm believer in What we sow, so shall we reap. All I can say is the world has gone mad, angry, victim mentality, disrespectful and hating to the point of self destruction.
Even if she is innocent, one can understand the thinking of those who seek revenge after being victims of horrible…
LOL. A little reading comprehension does a body good. "one can understand the thinking of those who seek revenge"
I questioned how in the world someone could think to seek revenge, so questioning "when, how or why an alleged victim seeks revenge" didn't cross my mind. I pointed out how seeking revenge in itself harms a victim.
"least of all yours" Why are SO many Users unable to respond without resorting to belittling another User? Did it make you feel good to do that?
I think of the Users who use the actor or actress's initials or name in comments when they're talking about what's…
Really!!! If a User doesn't like the actor, why state it here, instead of on the actor's profile page. I question why they haven't dropped the drama if it's too painful to see a specific actor on screen. I put those dramas in my Not Interested list.
Man k dramas have fallen off so bad ! They just can’t keep up with the quality to quantity ratio! Like what’s…
Viewers had a huge hand in the quality of the writing and what we're seeing now. All those 'masterpieces' and 10 star ratings from Knetizens and on sites like MDL haven't been an incentive for writers to stretch their creativity. We (general term) told them the mediocre stuff was masterpiece worthy, perfection, no flaws, so why should they give us anything more than what we've actually asked for. We're getting what we ordered.
I've read a number of comments on other drama profiles like yours and it makes me wonder if any User knows if…
Very informative, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading your comment. How do you know so much? Now, how do the newest idol actors who haven't a lick of acting sense fit into all of this, especially considering they're given roles that are above their experience level again and again and again with no improvement in sight? Are a few of them really placed in roles to elavate the production with their visuals? Profits and not acting ability, it seems at this point, is driving the entertainment industry. Do you think we'll be seeing fewer big names in dramas, bc ROK is a youth driven society, due to them hitting their upper 30s & 40s, which is considered middle age in ROK (ludicrous, btw)?
one thing i really didn't like. How, at the beginning, she was so angry with her ex that she ignored him, shouted…
She isn't being fooled by him. 'Better to fool the fool who thinks they're fooling you' comes to mind. She knows he has a motive or he wouldn't have dragged her to Japan just bc the Head Chef has Alzheimer's & won't eat.
The Male lead, Kang Ha Neul, is carrying this drama, while the Female lead, Go Min Shi, is making it look like…
Thank God for differing opinions. I think she's great. *whispers* you forgot to add She parts her hair wrong. I take it that you've dropped the drama since the female lead isn't to your liking, and nope, KHN isn't carrying this drama.
omg, i thought i was the only one and maybe it wasn't as bad as it seemed but im lowkey relieved everyone else…
"wdym you took the blame for something you had absolutely no hand in?"
Considering pufferfish preparation is regulated by law in Japan and it is career ending if it isn't METICULOUSLY prepped, and a patron dies from ingesting the toxin (in this case he let the skin, ovaries, or liver cross-contaminate the rest of the fish) I agree, she absolutely shouldn't have taken the blame for him. When it showed him cutting into the fish I figured something bad was going to happen.
What was wrong with that dish? It better not be because he’s allergic, that’s not a chef’s fault if he didn’t…
He rushed in prepping the pufferfish. Bc of the toxin, it has to be prepared with meticulous care. Being a luxury dish, the diners, would know when it wasn't prepared right with one small bite. The potential harm is what caused the ruckus. Remaining a 3 Star restaurant would be next to impossible if the patron hadn't spit the bite out, and it was a potential career ending situation for the one who'd prepped it. The entire scenario was the fault of the chef who prepared the dish. The only question I had during this was WHY did Yeon Yu take the fall for Jeon Min. That wasn't explained.
People aren't "allergic" to pufferfish. One either eats properly prepared pufferfish which is an expensive dish and lives, or one ingests the tetrodotoxin when any one of the areas cross-contaminates from the fish's skin, ovaries, & liver which causes paralysis, breathing difficulty, and cause death. Countires have laws for the strict handling of the fish.
They completely MESSED up with the Cameo abd the whole Japan trope. Firstly, THE SECOND LEAD IS INCREDIBLY CHARMING…
I don't recall ANY other drama rushing the storyline like this when it's only 10 episodes. If it was a film I'd get it, but not for a drama. How are they going to tie it all up to the satisfaction of the viewers by the end of Ep 9? As viewers we all know we can practically forget the last episode ever Not being rushed. Plus they waste valuable screen time on an uneccessarily long Get Lee Yu Jin Drunk senario???
Casting YYS as the Ex is not working for me, but I think they thought the viewers would be overjoyed to see the man-with-the-hands in WTPR on their screens again. Introducing him in Ep 5, mid way, is ludicrous. Maybe they thought viewers would forgive the sudden plot direction considering the length of the drama by casting him in the role. and They know viewers have accepted other dramas by rating them too high when they're actually mediocre, so why not this drama. Give 'em what they want, right?
Some Users are frustrated Yeon Ju is dissing Beom U when he's in Japan. Some Users are thinking Yeon Ju doesn't have a head on her shoulders. She left a note saying she was taking care of some loose ends and would be back. Beom U being there is slowing her mission down. And she wouldn't fall again for an Ex who let her take the blame for him and who chose not to contact her for howmanyyears. As another User said, maybe we should trust Yeon Ju. I don't think she's so naive to think that her Ex would JUST need her back in Japan for her ex-bosses illness.
I see the character Jeon Min as needed. Their backstory was explained fully, which leads to us knowing why he was chosen as the new chef at La Lecel since he was the Head Chef at La Murir for 3 years. Which is a 3 star restaurant. Han Seon U wants that 3 Star rating so he can be the company head.
The PROBLEM is that for a 10 episode drama, introducing a new major plot into the story and spending 2 solid episodes (5 & 6) on it is giving anxiety. and I'll say again, Plus they waste valuable screen time on an uneccessarily long Get Lee Yu Jin Drunk senario??? The writer has Too much to do in Too little time. It's written as a 16 episode drama, condensed into 10 episodes, and makes me wonder if it really was supposed to BE a 16 episode drama.
I am still debating on whether to watch it or not. The summary was not that attractive to me, but I wanted to…
The synopsis is clickbait quality "They grow together and fall in love while running a small restaurant in the city of Miraek, Jeonju.". I don't advise anyone to read the comments EVER, but for TY it might help in your debate. Go Min Si delivers. The drama is very rushed, and needed 16 eps, not 10, for the plotlines they've introduced. The romance in the Genre should be moved to last as it's strongly hinted in ep 5 then snatched away in the same episode with the intro of the ex.
Kang Ha Neul deserves a better drama than this one!!!!
I've read a number of comments on other drama profiles like yours and it makes me wonder if any User knows if the actor/actresses choose the roles/scripts they want to do, or if they're told they have to take this one or that one.
I'd like to know WHY she took the blame for him?
