Too fast paced 😩this would have been so nice if it was 14-16 episodes, everything is just in a rush
It was the only drama I've watched that went from the beginning of a romance directly to the assassination of said romance within an episode or less.
"They grow together and fall in love while running a small restaurant in the city of Miraek, Jeonju." was an insult to the viewers. No time for embracing the romance. Just bam. Switch.
Pls don't hate Yoo Yeonseok, but hate his character Jonmin😂😂 You all call him yys yys when commenting dislike😭
I think of the Users who use the actor or actress's initials or name in comments when they're talking about what's going on in the drama as two types...1. too lazy to look up the character name, and 2. they're usually the ones who can't differentiate between a character and the actor or actress playing the role of the character.
Is it so hard to not believe rumors? All it takes is for someone who might be envious to cast doubt on someone…
Why would you say "Min Si, Why would you do that?" and "is so hard to be a good person?"? if you didn't want anyone to comment?
I'd read all the comments after I finished watching the first 5 eps, and among ALL of the comments I'd only read one that didn't have any business being posted under the TY profile....Yours. The other Users talked about the drama itself. You could've stopped at "the show was to good to be true, 2 bad eps in a row", but you kept going, in hopes someone else would respond, which I did.
I wasn't addressing YOU specifically, but to anyone who might read my comment. Sometimes replies can be addressed to Users as a whole.
"hoping that the rumors about an actress I like aren't true" I will speak to you directly and say Let the rumor go in one ear & out the other bc if it stops in the middle it'll begin to fester. Don't help in spreading a rumor.
And there IS need for "all this defense" when a rumor is spread on a drama's profile page.
To get MDL back to any semblance of what it use to be and SHOULD be, it's going to take one User at a time speaking up to tell another That This Isn't The Place To Spread Rumors, or Gossip. Clean up your language, it isn't acceptable here.
Why "spend this time with the real haters" when I don't spend time with them at all. I don't read the tabloid sites, etc. IRL I shut them down before they can finish a rumor or gossip. I don't entertain anything that's going to negatively impact my thoughts.
Dear, "I'm just someone who has been hated just for existing" and What makes you think you're the only one. <<
Even if she is innocent, one can understand the thinking of those who seek revenge after being victims of horrible…
"one can understand the thinking of those who seek revenge"
Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. Seeking revenge is never "logical". How is it "logical" to live one's life obsessed with an abuser, waiting for the opportune time to get one's revenge as in "they want to wait" which DOES imply they're obsessed in a victim mentality that destroys? Do the 'victims' just go about their merry way after the revenge is done bc now everything is hunky dory, like "I waited years to get my revenge and now I have, so what do I do now"? Seeking revenge destroys the seeker. How is getting revenge on an abuser any different than the abuse by the accuser? Tit for Tat is the same.
Site the sources for "hundreds of studies that indicate that the highest percentage of victims of school or sexual violence cannot continue with their lives".
Lily Alice, is this an alt account since it was opened today May 27, 2025, to generate more comments? Yes, I know I'm responding to a alt acct which is also clickbait.
What is the difference in those who seek revenge, regardless of the number of years since the abuse, and those who never do?
LOL. Yep. One would think more viewers would start paying attention to who the creator or scriptwriter is for the dramas they watch. Past works are a glimpse into their imagination and creativity, but bot always. I have seen some writers, after good works, that are begging for a straight jacket all of a sudden for their latest.
omg i cant stand his french accent i'm sorry but as a french i always struggle with actors speaking french when…
@cha language can be learned. The accents are harder and experts say it will come with time, and to not concentrate on the accent while trying to learn any language.
the show was to good to be true, 2 bad eps in a row, and... Min Si, Why would you do that? please do not be true…
Is it so hard to not believe rumors? All it takes is for someone who might be envious to cast doubt on someone else by throwing an accusation out there. Gullible people are usually the ones who believe anything and everything bc they don't know the person personally. That's who accusers count on in helping spread their envy.
I stopped at the end of Ep 5 and will watch the last 5 when finished. In the meantime, I sure am reading a LOT of spoilers that aren't behind the Spoiler Tag.
Do you now how easy it is to hit the spoiler box before posting? Do you know how easy it is to open a spoiler tag if one wants to? Do you want to reduce someone else's pleasure of watching an episode for the first time like you did, on purpose? Why be a thief and steal someone's joy?
Be a dear if it happened in the drama and hit that SPOILER box. It isn't going to lessen your comment in any way. Actually, it makes a User's comment more appealing.
Ep 6: probably most boring episode yet. 🥱Why would she drop everything and go to Japan with her ex?? 😒She…
@kdramaddixxion Kdrama creators and writers are losing viewers bc their imagination is stagnant, hence why so many people are watching Chinese and Japanese dramas now.
But it's ironic, I think we all contributed to the writers not having any growth in their creativity, by awarding them with high ratings for mediocre productions, and they've rewarded us with the same mediocrity.
Using food as an analogy since that's what TY is about, if I'm fed the same old tasteless meal day after day and tell the chef it's the best they've ever eaten and it's a masterpiece dish, then that's all the chef will provide...the same old tasteless meal.

Funny no one said a thing when she'd passed adulthood at 19 in 2014. They stayed silent during her other productions, waiting 15 years, skipping over the years when their statements might have had a greater impact. Envious people have no low.
The first substantiated evidence I witnessed at the start of my law enforcement career was that someone could say anything about another, or bring a charge aganist them, and IF it was false the accused would still be arrested, and sit in jail until an investigation was complete.
Lily Alice is a contributor of spreading falsehoods on MDL. Siding with accusers, standing back and watching with glee seems fun until 'we reap what we sow', 'what goes around comes around', and 'Karma' steps into the picture, and it ALWAYS will and DOES.
