Long term Korean drama watchers would beg to differ. John Wick was released in 2014, a rather late addition to the hired chaebol owned killer/gang/thug seeking revenge genre that has appeared in countless dramas and movies before Derek Kolstad was born. which incidentally was the year I fraduated highschool. All of the dramas prior to 2014 which were produced by the ROK entertinment industry and were great inspiration for series such as JW.

I hope you reach my age one day. I really do. Hopefully you'll reflect why getting butt hurt over a review was nonsensical.

Funny how some people interpret a comment negatively when it was actually giving the actor support for having a role where he'd learned so much that it impacted his life. How is seeing someone's GROWTH as stated by him in the article twisted into "to bring him down" by a User? That's absurd. It was a refreshing interview for an actor to publicly say "his big break project after over 2 decades being around in the entertainment industry" provided so many lessons that it led to a new way of thinking.

Again, without looking at your profile, how is practically guaranteeing you rated Blind a 9 or 10 "mocking" your comment? Asking the User to "Please don't write any more reviews." was evident enough to anyone with intelligence what your rating would be. You were hurt their rating & review didn't match yours. Then you turn it on me? Your hurt knows no bounds, does it? First the User's, then mine. Who next, MDL? for allowing diverse Reviews?

Do you even know the meaning of the word Mocking? According to your def of "mocking", YOU bullied the User by commenting negatively to the User with "Please don't write any more reviews." Why bother to be offended at all if you rated the drama a 9 or 10 and the User didn't? How does the review impact your life? Did the review lessen your confidence/make you question your 9 or 10 rating? Do you often lash out at other Users for having a dif opinion about a drama or movie than you do?

Hmm, I agree with Jojo, and might be time to revisit, after watching half an episode then deleting the profile rather than dropping or putting it on hold a while back. Sometimes all one needs is "Meet Yourself was simply 40 episodes of the nice being nice to the nice---the ultimate in soothing slice of life."

Must be bc he actually took the role. The premise is fit for a less established actor. Sounds, more like something an arising idol turned actor would take, not for an actor who has already 'proven' himself.

Genres:
Comedy done right. Instantaneous outbursts being the measure, not forced.

Romance done right. Perfect from the beginning of the relationship/first meet to the end. Unlike ANY other drama or movie EVER produced.

Family connections from immediate family members to the friendships were exceptionally well done.

To understand Forget You Not one MUST have life experience behind them. This is NOT a drama for the youth. It is NOT youth driven. It contains HARD hitting life experiences that aren't easily understood unless one HAS a personal experience in the dif subject matters. This is for mature viewers ONLY, and I see a few reviewers still don't 'get it'.

I blame you for posting this to Feeds and then me watching it.....LOL. Seriously though, I do want to thank you for this overlooked drama. This is how short dramas should be written. It was so full it practically couldn't contain itself. Excellent writer, portrayal of Alzheimer's (never to THIS extent in any other drama or movie), and the roles were acted with great care. I stopped halfway into Ep 8 last night right before bed bc I was tired of crying.

"my adopted baby son" "made me fall in love with him" This is the unhinged part as it alludes to an unhealthy relationship that most would see as perverted. Falling in love with someone is def not the same as loving someone when they're a relative, and that's what "my adopted" implies.

I often say I've adopted Seo Kang Joon as my grandson bc I've been interested in his career for quite awhile. There are other men and women, and child actors I keep an eye on throughout their career. BUT I've never fallen in love with them. That's ewww.

Maybe give the User a little benefit of doubt for her lack of writing or language skills.

The interview and the article could be shortened to him saying "I grew up during this shoot to the reality of the world.".

EDIT: I commend his GROWTH. It starts with being truthful to one's self.

It's the same book when, and wherever it's mentioned that instantly makes one a pariah, usually, conjuring up all sorts of vile name calling, and also makes ALL others into the very being the book is about, omniscient. Never in the history of the world has such a book given everyone a sense that they know someone so thoroughly when they have never met or heard about the person, even though persons who read it are as diverse as the people of this earth. Yes Yes Yes. Our discussion reminds me of the debate of whether life imitates art or art imitates life. Both would be accurate, in my lowly opinion. Desensitized viewers' are repeatedly told the 'norm' they'd always thought as moral, etc. isn't really the norm. How could it be the norm when it's shown in a good light on an OTT, etc? Woudn't it be alright since others must have the same thoughts? Just one time wouldn't hurt, would it? Add in countless viewers in the equation. On the other hand, the industry picks up on the fringe behaviors and furthers their quest in bringing the whole world around to their way of thinking. LOL. Exaggerated, sure, but..... It def does beg the question. The entertainment industry (Hollywood, etc) chooses to further the debasement with an extremely small percentage of moral degenerates.

I have a great book I read daily and from the readings it appears the fringe is expected to become the norm and the norm of the past will become obsolete relics.

It's just a matter of time for the other debased behaviors to make their appearance. At first I'd completely blamed NF for Asian's (mainly Korean) fall into 'degeneracy'. Since, I see NF just gave them permission Internationally to do so. It was always there, but was held in check by their country's citizens. "Western media is overflowing with this." and it drove me away. I was thinking yest about dif series or movies I'd watched in the past that absolutely did NOT add to my wellbeing. But life doesn't come with an eraser. Same, seeing comments or reviews like yours across MDL confirms there're still discerning people in this world.

Watching again, but can I overcome my frustration 13 yrs later with the stupidity of the husband, and especially the wife. The movie is certainly not lacking in the victim mentality. Within the first 5 mins we're told she was so innocent that she was disheartened she'd killed a spider accidentally🤣However, it was a good movie. Not on par with Midnight Express (1978) though. I kept in mind that there's ALWAYS 3 sides to every story we hear.

I'm choosing OTT providers and trying Prime again after letting it go in 2015. I should've let Blind stay in my NI list (for those that are on OTTs I don't have access to or aren't designated with an OTT yet).
