Lee Sang Yi or PLK Good Friends (his agent) or both sure do know how to choose great scripts!!! And that's why I'm hoping Bloodhounds and Han River will be the next well above 8 Star dramas for Lee Sang Yi.
Anyone else cried when they burned the cat's body? Or only I am that crazy cat lover here?
I didn't cry, but I teared up bc Hee Jae cried. The cat had the same coloring my Benny had. He died in Feb 2020 at 17 years old. I'm anxious for Hae Jae's backstory. He can't possibly be the killer based solely on the fact he cried knowing the cat died.
I sure do miss having someone look at me the way Chi Yeol looks at Haeng Seon. I felt their interaction down in my bones it was so intense. The first stage after actually telling someone you like them and they tell you they feel the same way is so so so precious. I thought back on THE day my ex (yes, I still love him) and I revealed our feelings for each other. We were just as giddy as these two. Living vicariously through them, the slowness of it, the realness of it, has been why I've loved it. CCIR & Kokdu are the first dramas I've watched as the episodes are dropped. I understand the excitement now!!!!!!!
I don't why most people and writers are under the illusion that miscarriage has no impact on a man.
Might be bc men don't generally talk about the impact a miscarriage has had on them since men have been taught to "be a man" and to not show emotion. Personally, the partial miscarriage plus the D&C for the remainder of the ectopic pregnancy barely registered with my husband.
It's fair to criticize the writing in a drama, but you making it about SK in general and a worry about SK "lacking…
It's sad, youth cannot handle adversity in comments. Mature commenters debate, or at least tell someone to f888 off. Immature commenters resort to Blocking. How will they ever learn to get along with their fellow man?
The reason I left watching US movies is for the same reason you are using for Crash Course. I don't think you…
" I guess we will have to find a new source of series" Wow. This week, in particular, I've been wondering what to watch if (or when) Korean dramas imitate western values & morals to the point where I can't tell them apart. It IS a sad state. I'll check your lists for Jdramas.

Point proven when you don't know it's JUST an expression, dear luv. "I disagree with you". Of course you do. You're one of those influxed westerners riding the wave from the Squid Games unable to demand quality entertainment after coming off the rails (as in train wreck) of their trash entertainment. It's much easier to disagree and bring along the projection, gaslighting, and narcissistic comments instead of joining an already well established industry. It's easier to demand (or "ALLOW") your point of view to be forced upon others, as the west so does. I will stick firmly to my perception about the screenwriters, and the west, regardless of being "allowed" to or not. I don't ask anyone's permission at my age.

"Because S. Korea has become so Internationally well known for its shows now, most anything is accepted, good, bad, or just meh. " Hence, why the rating system across sites has gone to youknowwhere. If it plays, 10 Stars. If a hot actor, 10 Stars. Same with an actress. The majority of screenwriters are being dictated to, instead of creating, I'm afraid. Also if no one expects greatness from them (in general) then...The incentive should come from within. Caught between a rock & a hard place. Should I produce quality scripts, or do I go along to play along. The viewers are caught in the middle.
My Liberation Notes was excellent. Park Hae Young can back it with her previous scripts, and indeed she's, herself, is rare.

Hmm, making it about S Korea in general bc if I pointed out how stupid the writers make police departments (in general) look someone would brand me a police hater in comments, such as yourself with "strange and even offensive imo". LOL I could give a r**'s a** about the western world. I waved goodbye to it way back before you were out of diapers. "Also weird to say the writer should be concerned about looking good for the international audience" Yes, I was wrong there. I should've said the screenwriter ought to be concerned with writing more intelligently since not only S Korea is focusing on CCIR since it's been #1 on Netflix, but also the international viewers, and as a possible future collaboration(s) with an international agancy (Netflix). But hey, if she's satisfied with subpar writing then give the woman an apple, pat her on the head, and tell her she's been a good girl. "a writer in SK should try to produce quality writing" 'NUFF SAID.
For those of us who left western entertainment we absolutely hate to see Korean entertainment following in the west's footsteps.
🙄🤦🏽♀️"If only we could see his face, it'd give us a clue."
Ya know, I really don't expect too much out of any drama. Just entertain me intellectually, please. But I'm so sick of lazy writing when they throw into the dialogue (such as with the police) something SO asinine even a 4 yo would have a problem with it. It's statements like this that if I didn't know any better, I'd think S Korea (in general) are lacking a few cells upstairs. I had to pause Ep 11 for a moment it infuriated me so. I REALLY hope this is screenwriter Yang's LAST slap-yo-mama-cause-she's-so-stoopid line. You'd think with all the international attention focused on Crash Course in Romance she'd be extra careful with her words. Am I wrong? Tell me I'm being too sensitive in wanting S Korea (in general) to not come off as lacking compared to the west.
Made your 500 Hearts. I'm hoping to finish Once Again before April 5th. I hope your 28th is as good as mine was.
My fervent wish for you is for you to be content in who you are, embrace your unique self/what you look like, get better with age & experience, and for the entire world to perceive you the way I do. Stay "Young & Fresh", Ki Do Hoon 💖
