I think ratings usually drop after any series is finished anyway, don't you think? Right now it's a little high because it's a newer drama capturing everyone's attention. It still has that "old school rom-com" feel to it which many like.

Is there a word to describe a 40+ single (or divorced) crazed fan other than ahjumma. I'd think the ahjummas who are settled into their lives would find it an insult. If there's a catagory for males specifically called incels, then wouldn't there be a word for the females even if they are in their 40s? I still see it all as incredibly sad. I'd either defy them and demand more roles, or in defiance of them give up my career for my love, family, and life, and give 'em the middle finger. Of course, NONE of this is any of my business. Sometimes I think SK needs a reset. It can't sustain itself as is.

I'm old enough to be your grandmother and have enjoyed seeing you in all of your roles. By this stage of your career, I'd say you're a veteran actor. Hwaiting!!!

No seriously, the ONLY problem I've encountered is finding good ones once they're not licensed anymore or like you said, they drop off. I'm not too keen on engaging with illegal sites. I knew what you meant. He's the perfect example in a lesson of distinguishing the actor from their roles. He's a great actor. His roles are extremely unlikable. I don't mix the two. When he first started out I didn'tlike him at all, but soon I mature and realized he was playing his roles to perfection. I think at this stage in his career his roles are set. I'm not sure if I'd believe the character/role if he were to play a good guy.

Are you positive it's ONLY "the hairy-faced ajummas who sniff around Korean male celebrities "? The ahjummas would certainly have children in their middle teens or older. That's a whole lot of sniffing going on where it shouldn't be.

I don't question their eyesight anymore, it's gotten so exhausting. Maybe it isn't the eyesight so much as the filter of cosmetic surgery has clouded their eyes and if someone doesn't fit into that mold then... The longer I watch Korean dramas and movies the more I gravitate toward the older shows which were majority pre-nip&tuck anything that could be. I love the unique looks generally associated with Koreans, not whateverthehelltheyarechangingthemselvesintonow.

Has he ever played a good guy role? He's the proverbial chicken-or-the-egg. Was he typecast by his agency, or did he typecast himself into a set role?
