Why should a "surprisingly decent actor" get this part over hundreds of other better, more skilled actors? Did his sugar daddy fund it or something?

He's a bad actor. He's not helping anyone by doing that. I would like to see some proof that he was actually hit by someone.

EVERYTHING you say here. It's amazing how many BL-watchers, probably teeny-boppers, think the world owes bad actors a good response no matter how bad their work is. It's silly.

Just watched episode 1:
Cute/handsome chef guy.
Girl is obnoxious but also kind of cute and doesn't seem overly hateful.
Chef has NO money but drives a nice little SUV and has all the utensils, pots, pans and food to start up and open a restaurant.
Where did he come from?
Tiny little bump against random guy on the beach knocks him unconscious on the ground.
Chef gives CPR with his mouth closed and the mouth of the patient closed...had the patient actually been not breathing he would now be dead.
BAD bleach job. This is one of those where they either don't leave the dye/bleach on long enough so it comes out more yellow than platinum, or they use cheap dye. Lots of K-Pop stars, which I hear this actor is one, bleach their hair but it looks healthy and WHITE/PLATINUM, not sick yellow.
This might be a good hate-watch.

Could have happened. Could also be a great play for publicity and sympathy, also while promoting this show! Excellent PR work, Holland! 😁😁😁 Does he have any proof this happened?

Male lead is hot and talented.

There was NO trans element in this story. She feels like a woman in both bodies.

I think HE did, but the ending was kind of a triple cop-out, and the writers don't know jack about intersex.

TERRIBLE plot and writing. Makes zero sense if you know anything about Intersex.

I never ugly-sobbed, but more of a sustained trickle from 1/3 of the way in until the end. :) The further along it got the more I began to regard it as an Afternoon Special about a really heavy complicated subject. Once again, for the thousandth time, we have an Asian character leaving their beloved without one word of explanation, to go "abroad" of course. lol How the hell do you sustain that kind of an injury from that kind of incident? Not believable, but whatever; that got us to where we needed to go. I just DO NOT GET why plot devices like that can't be written more believably. There are all kinds of other more violent incidents/accidents that would have explained what we overheard the doctor say. I mean, I've done a lot of research on Intersex and that part of this story makes NO sense.
OK, no more bitching. It made me cry for an hour so I guess it moved me quite a bit. But had they fixed all the weak spots it could have been really something.

The ML is hot af. The type that is masculine without in anyway seeming to use that to intimidate other people or be arrogant. That crooked half-smile. Good lord.

The ending was a DOUBLE cop-out. It pulled two really interesting twists and then said, "OK, we're out! No more to see here!"

Screamer-phobia maybe. Degrading sereotype-phobia perhaps. But no, I'm gay and have many gay friends and I'm not afraid of myself or any of them. As I've said many times, this has become a hate-watch for me, so bad it's almost good and I make liberal use of my FF button.

YOU are the one who missed the point, brainiac. The show is very poorly written. You'd have to be intellectually disabled to do all the stupid things the lead did in the first half hour. Maybe his character IS intellectually disabled, but there was nothing to indicate that as being the case, was there? lol Did I say he was guilty? No, no I did not.. He WAS guilty of being a dumb ass though.

Interesting. What I have read on this indicated to me that in rare cases an intersex person CAN have fully complete male and female reproductive systems. I mean, why would that NOT happen once in a great while, given all the other mutations that show up in humans? Anyway, I will look into this more. Thanks for the input.

Not bothered by all the stupid choices the lead made in the first half hour? Stealing your dad's taxi, with which he makes a living so you can eat? I disliked him for that alone, even before he started taking drugs from some street chick he doesn't know. What a dumb-ass.

Exactly. Taking drugs from some dopey chick who thinks she's all that, who you have no idea who she is. TWICE he took drugs he didn't know what he was taking. The plot didn't cover how many std's he picked up from her. Or maybe it did...I dropped it after the first half hour and after reading comments here I'm not going back to watch more as I thought I might. There are too many other GOOD shows out there to be watched.

Also, did the fact that he left a load of his DNA in her lady-place ever come up in the investigation or trial?

You weren't bothered by all of the stupid choices the young lead made in the first half hour? I list a lot of them in a post up above. It is hard to identify or care about a character that dumb.

Who in the cast and crew are you related to? There were many plot holes and the pace was draggy, filling time. The young lead did so many stupid things in the first half hour that I felt zero empathy for him.

Taking a break after half an hour. I find the ML appealing and the cop who is going to show up later is one of my favorite actors but the kid does so many stupid things and there are so many implausibles in the thirty minutes I spent watching that I just couldn't keep going.
