NOTHING on Earth is perfectly perfect. Nothing is a 10/10. There is always something that could have been done better. For instance, here it would be the clown-show that the costumer puts on for the crazy brother. The guy has all the money in the world and dresses in clothes from a Party Store?

If they are always off, why do you care? How do you know they are always off? And why do people rate shows based on three out of 14 episodes? I have dropped a LOT of series but I never rate them when I do. Doesn't seem fair.

Beautiful kiss...should have gone on a few more seconds. If there is ever a true sex scene in this show they could blow the roof off this place. I'm surprised we're seeing this in the third episode.

What exactly did Nuea "do?" And what's the big deal with the pic? Just two guys goofing off for a selfie. The controversy over it is stupid. Maybe Nuea is tired of having a spineless wimp for a BF and would like someone who stands up for themselves.

Maybe is Nuea is growing tired of treating Toh like the child he presents himself as. Who wants to have to protect their partner at every turn? Let him stand up for himself. Plus, what's the big deal with the pic? Just two guys looking goofy in a selfie? wtf? another forced source of drama.

Nuea is committed only in so far as Toh remains a simpering, spineless wimp. This is FAR from an equal partnership and it's not believable that Nuea would be in it, except if he is the type that LIKES a weak person as a partner to dominate and condescend to. It is not enough that he simply BE with his loved one, he has to make a big show of it to everyone at every possibility, and always with that condescending smirk.

WHAT do people want Nuea to do about WHAT? What am I missing?

Nutt is not nearly as good an actor as the one playing Som. She rules this series and by the way, deserves the romantic attentions of some straight guy who appreciates her fine qualities.

Regarding 4/4 of ep. 11:
What's the big deal about the pic of Jao and Toh? They don't look any goofier than a lot of other people taking goofy selfies on social media. This show relies heavily on manufactured drama about basically nothing.
The actor who plays Som is the best of all actors in this series. Her emotions are real and true; she always seems totally THERE, not just acting. I am very impressed with her.
I get the whole love-yourself drama among the four Pride Posse members at the cafeteria, but without Som to hold these queens together, they would all be a slobbering mess on the floor. It's pathetic that after all this time, the three guys remain totally at the mercy of whoever said the last mean thing about or to them.
Jao curdling up and pulling his jacket tight around himself for protection was so overplayed. They all need acting lessons from Som.
OK, I am going to say it again: Seng is just not a good/talented actor. Someone else should have been cast. He is not only unconvincing in his emotional scenes, he is downright off-putting with his mini-seizures during which he becomes a stereotype of a wilting flower/gay queen, pouting wimp.
Why the hell would a professor let someone like Nuea walk in and take over her class to make pronouncements about his "lover," his "little kid," etc. and drop off food for the child. It's downright arrogant and conceited of Nuea to do these things. He is so condescending to Toh. Does anyone believe Toh as an equal partner in that alleged relationship? Please.
Why are almost all trans women in Thai and Pinoy dramas presented as overweight screamers wearing too much makeup and acting like mean drag queens rather than confident, self-respecting women? The professor is the first in this series to have any dignity, though she acted totally brain-dead and confused the whole time. And, of course, she was fat. Is being fat and asexual a side-effect of being trans? I don't think so.
Again, if dai-Zee is trans, why is she wearing a male school uniform and hair?
Why does everyone in this show wear pink lipstick?
Why were there only about 11 people in that huge banquet hall party for Nuea's mother and bizarre-looking father. I thought he was going to grab Toh by the genitals at any moment.
Finally, why are commenters complaining about how Nuea "acted" regarding that totally innocuous photograph that was posted. He barely reacted at all. Seemed perfect to me.

The audience of this show reminds of the one for Bad Buddy. I'm sure there are lots of people who love both. The scripts are lame, the direction is awful, the acting is mostly lame, etc. etc. This is definitely my second deliberate hate-watch after BB. In that regard, it is kind of fun.

Yesterday, when I tried to watch ep. 11, the fourth segment's subs were all out of whack so I gave up but now it seems they are fixed so will go back, but before I do that a few comments:

This show went even more ridiculously and stupidly down the rabbit-hole of gay/trans/bi fantasy.
Nuea's father is a total weirdo. He looks like a 65 year-old not-so-closeted gay man who has had three-too-many facelifts, wears too much bronzer and uses black shoe polish on that ridiculously age-inappropriate hairdo, all topped off by flamboyant earrrings of course. Give me a break. He is downright creepy.
Why did Toh dress like a four year-old boy to go to the party? This show continues its radical stereotyping of bottoms and tops relationships. Not only is Toh very feminine, weak and has no idea how to take the initiative in lovemaking, his mental/emotional state is that of a ten year-old. Just weird as fuck.
Why did everyone act like Toh looked so stylish and hot at school? He was wearing the school uniform as usual! wtf was different except for the glasses? The conceit that he looked so hot that Nuea had to pull him aside for a lecture is just stupid. If they had re-styled Toh's hair to that of an adult, it would have helped a lot, but they didn't do that.
Why did dai-ZEE act like a normal straight guy for five minutes? Maybe we find out later but that was also weird. That said, he actually looked handsome there for a few minutes. That guy is a good actor because something about the way he ACTS as dai-ZEE changes the way his face LOOKS and that's kind of amazing.
BTW, I still don't think dai-ZEE is trans, but just an extremely effeminate gay guy. There are a number of reasons I believe this to be the case, but the latest was her butch act plus the fact that if she is trans, why isn't she wearing female hairstyles and a female school uniform and why did she use the men's room at the campout?
More stereotyping: Toh's absurdly stupid bridal headdress in the wedding fantasy, purely there to proclaim to the audience and attendees at the party that TOH TAKES IT IN THE ASS IN THIS RELATIONSHIP.
The gun battle thing was STUPID and amateur as fuck.
I'm sure I'm forgetting at least ten more stupid things from episode 11 but enough of that. I am off to watch that last segment, 4/4 and see what the fuss in comments is about.

Who cares how and when they met and over how long? No sex took place during her underage years and they are both adults now in the story. Age gaps much greater than this have been around since time began. Relax a little.

I am SO pissed about that. They didn't even give us ANY context on how he ended up in that white suv with the psycho drug pusher before even making it to the restaurant and staying sober ONE day? I know addiction is powerful and it was stupid on his and his family's and BF's parts to not have him all set up with a program of support and sobriety to help him stay sober, BUT seriously? Looney is my favorite character and I had to pause the episode and cry hard for half an hour before continuing. I hate these fucking writers.

Not for my favorite character Looney, it's not. I cried my eyes out and I'm pissed at how that was handled. Seriously, Looney didn't have enough sober backbone to at least make it to the restaurant before relapsing and getting arrested? I call bullshit. Also pissed there was no context to how he ended up first thing in that SUV with the drug dealing monster, knowing his BF and parents were waiting...just BOOM he was there. What did the cops have to gain by framing and entrapping a nobody like Looney? I'm still upset over this.

Ten years is far from unheard-of. Grow up.

Dramas are SUPPOSED to make you uncomfortable here and there. And their age gap is a non-issue to any thinking adult.

Simply the finest drama series from any country it has ever been my privilege to see. I wish I had known of it when it was new. From gut-grabbing laughter to soul-searing tears, this moved me in ways nothing else has done over the course of so many episodes. BRAVO.

I was going to give it a 9.5/10 but I won't forgive what the writers and director pulled with what's in the spoiler post below, so it gets a 9/10 from me.

The recidivist horror that befell Loony, my favorite of all characters in this series, just seems beyond the pale. Worse, we were shown nothing of how he ended up in that SUV with that monstrous drug-pusher, nor was it explained how it was in the interests of the cops to set-up and entrap a nobody like Loony. Finally, absolutely zero follow-up on how things went from there. There were plenty of other less-vital issues covered that could have given their time to this one. The mom and dad, his lover, all set to greet him and we the audience set up like pure suckers for that cheap-shot plot twist of the knife.

After all we saw Loony go through and put himself through to get clean and then present him as someone with not even the backbone to make it from the prison to a restaurant holding the people dearest to him before he somehow chose drugs over them. I get that drug addiction is a lifelong affliction, but I think in a real world he'd have at least made it through one evening before relapsing.

This show is better than what was done to Loony and it pisses me off.

I'm only halfway thru episode 15 but I had to stop it and regain my composure before continuing. I am not sure that I have ever been more upset by a plot-turn in any drama until this one. I guess I should be hopeful that things can be righted in the remaining one and a half episodes but I don't see how. I guess I need to get a life; I didn't realize how fully vested I am in some of these characters, maybe all. Right now I am furious with the makers of this show. I feel manipulated. Of course what is drama and comedy but manipulation of an audience one way or the other, right? But I'm learning that I have become ESPECIALLY invested in this character and the subject matter is close to my heart so I am a wreck. So many questions at this moment. But this twist destroys so many different good things all at once...I'm speechless.

I feel my breathing returning to normal...wow, what a shock. I should have known I guess.
