Wow, your comment feels very snotty-mean, bitchy queen to me. "blowjob mouth?" "muscle mary?" Internalize homophobia much? He's gorgeous. Could you explain the anatomical aspects of "blowjob mouth" please? Thanks.
Shi Cheng Hao is just beautiful - my goodness. And did you see the 8-pack on Max Lin? I like that the leads treat…
I remember that you detest the trip-fall-catch trope, but I enjoyed this one. First, it was blatant and obviously inserted as a deliberate trope of a trope and second, it ended with one of them holding onto the other and going into a full-on smooch instead of both jumping back with great discomfort and angst. I think Zheng Ze may know exactly what he's doing. :D I love his character and unlike most commenters here, find him to be the hotter of the two. Pale as a ghost but I'm getting used to that in Asian shows, and a jawline made of steel.
liked it, liked it, liked it, all grown up people, no school university drama, and focus on two people feelings...Fu…
Proper schmoper, I hope its all a big, angsty, dramatic mess but comes together with great love and joy before the end. :D Before the morning sun must come the raging storm.
I totally felt that it was Be loved in house feels. If it's made by the same people then yeah that's why I was…
To me BLIH was kind of boring a lot of the time, but I kept watching for the handsome guys and was curious to see how things went in the end. This one feels much better to me than BLIH. The super-handsome office boss in BLIH was made of stone for so long that I got weary of him. Here I feel lots of characterization going on and I like it.
I'm a sucker for "childhood friends to lovers" stories but I found it boring. It's not bad but it lacks dynamism…
Wow. My impression is totally opposite at this point. I love this show. Great acting/vibes/chemistry. I have laughed out loud and teared up from feels already.

That thing about pale skin has been around for thousands of years, especially in China. I read up on it and it originally was that tan skin was a sign of having to work outdoors and in the fields as did the lower classes. But the wealthy and refined wanted to make it obvious that they spent their days indoors doing whatever rich people do and did not have to labor in the fields. Thus the pale skin. Chinese even took to wearing white face powder to enhance the paleness effect. As with so many things, the standard lingers to this day, long after any usefulness it may once have had.
As we're finding out with our high rates of skin cancer now in the U.S., tanning, which was super-popular in the sixties and seventies is giving us millions of baby-boomers with sun damage and cancer now.
I'm getting used to the pale skin, which is actually much healthier, look from watching all the Asian shows and films that I do. But I also know what you mean about the "golden" tones of Asian men who see the sun a bit. Beautiful. What I don't get is why Asians were once described in the West as the "yellow man." Gold/yellow? Yellow skin sounds gross to me.

Oh god...an accident. I like these guys a LOT already. And I agree with you that they very much feel like regular guys who have been friends forever and both are thankful for that, but only one (maybe) is aware of the totality of his feels. We have an extrovert and an introvert but yeah, there's not a fem/masc vibe going on which I usually find annoying, although if this goes as do so many BLs, and I hope it doesn't, we already know who the top/bottom roles would be. Wouldn't it be great to see some exuberant flip-flopping in a BL for once?
Taiwan did not legalise gay marriage just to end up giving the gays shitty endings we deserve to be happy and…
lol I love this show already and I majorly feel the affection between them, and the dynamics going on. I am all for realistic endings but if this is sad, I will be annoyed. Not to mention also a sobbing mess.
Reasons this show, after two eps, has already stolen my heart (which is not often stolen by BLs these days): It has already made me laugh out loud when watching alone five or six times. It has made me choke up several time already just from the general goosey feels. The leads are not only handsome but are good actors, have charisma and great chemistry. The last is indeed a cliche because it's true, and I admire directors who spot it in auditions and use it well in production. I love the two lead characters. Opposite/complimentary. I love that one knows and one doesn't. ;) I love the little sister. She's adorably annoying but loves her big bro and his bestie very much. She is going to be ecstatic when the inevitable occurs. I love the dad. I actually like the bartender. That hairstyle on guys usually puts me off (they make a point of pushing it back with style every 30 seconds) but I don't mind it on him and he seems like a nice guy. I like that his future squeeze upstairs is not especially handsome, in a normal dude kind of way, though something tells me when the glasses come off we will surprised. It has that nice, Taiwanese vibe that I can't put into words yet. Looking forward to future eps though again with the half hour thing will drive me nuts. Why don't they release these all at once like others do so I can binge them? Dammit.
Why is the series rating so low. I ll admit it's a litte bit slow but it's great.
Because it is a LOT slow. Last episode was a complete waste and this one was predictable, repetitive AND slow. I like the characters and where the story seems to be going but they have only 24 minutes each ep and can't seem to find enough compelling plot movement to fill that short amount of time.
Xiao Li is cute with his red/blue hair, but man, with his natural black hair he is smokin' hot/cute. Side plot-line was so by-the-book and predictable, they should have just spliced in the same scenes from one of 50 BLs. Still don't get why Ah Guan had to sneek off to "talk with" Amber, and he did it several times while he was acting suspicious. Ah...deliberate misunderstandings...where would BL World be without them? Otherwise, not much else went on in this ep. Just more of Amber acting mysterious when certain past events were brought up and all the allusions to fate and predestination, blah blah blah. This show is cute do to the looks/charisma of the cast, and the story could have been epic but so far...nah. Just waiting for my adorable Ah Le to find out and freak out, which should be fun to watch. I wish he wore his camo uniform to work. yum.
