I hope South Korea will start to air more BL Series. I am just sad that it only runs 10 min and only has 8 episodes.…
I would prefer that they make series with gay characters and not BL series. I’m still salty about Nam Shin and Young Hoon not being a couple in „Are you human too?“ Such a great drama ...
The actor who plays Tae Joo is pretty great. I immediately felt in love with him watching ep 1 & 2, I got seriously annoyed by him watching ep 3 & 4, and I cried with him watching ep 5 & 6.
Here on the calendar on MDL it says that episode 5 airs on Thursday 5 pm (in my time zone) and episode 6 on Friday 5 am. The countdown for episode 5 ran out two hours ago and now a new one is up for episode 6.
I don't understand why people dislike TaeJoo. Sure he's not perfect but I believe he has his own reasons. I don't…
He plays mind games and comes across rather cocky and cruel. I assume we will understand his behavior better in the next episodes. I'm worried because there is not much left. If this series had been 20 episodes long, I would be more excited.
No offense, but that's quite the extreme reaction. Taejoo can't confess and lose Gook's friendship. In fact, he…
Tae Joo said twice (if I remember correctly) that Kang Gook is his shadow and that shadow developed a self, which implies until now he didn't see him as an independent person at all. He thinks Kang Gook is his toy without an own will. I don't see how this is considered to be "love". You said he did this and that because he wants Kang Gook to love him back. At this point there is no hint that Tae Joo even "loves" Kang Gook and if he does I wonder what kind of love that's supposed to be.
That said, you completely got me wrong if you think that I think this drama is bad. I don't. I like the storytelling, I'm just saying that Tae Joo is a brat. An observation, nothing else. It's not that serious at the end of the day. They will figure out their silly love story in one way or another.

Then tell me ONE good quality about him. Just one. He lied about his wrist, he plays with people (Kang Gook, that girl he kissed, that other guy he had a fight with at the beginning in Ep 1), he looks down on others ... on EVERYONE ... I assume at this point that we will see a softer side of him in the future, but at the moment he is the definition of an as*hole. I'm pretty sure everyone is overlooking that because the actor is so damn attractive and cute.
I have to say it: Tae Joo is an as*hole. He behaves very crappy not only towards Kang Gook. There was a moment where I thought "Who on earth would fall in love with this guy?" Maybe I'm too sensitive, but this character is triggering something in me. Kudos to the actor btw. But if this is supposed to be the first mainstream BL, I expected the guys being cuter (and I'm not talking about looks). I'm a bit confused. As some kind of psychological thriller or whatever I would love it. But as a cute romance story? I cannot say that I'm rooting for them to be together and I really have NO idea why Kang Gook is even in love with Tae Joo. Hopefully we will see a different side of Tae Joo in the next episodes.
It was said in episode two.''Even tho I am standing beside him, he is always above me'' which means Tae Joo's…
Honestly I have to rewatch the whole thing today. I'm too focused on their faces and what happens on screen that I didn't read the subtitels properly. It's a bit confusing, some of their talks are rather cryptic to me. Knowing it's Korea I thought they wouldn't take being in a gay relationship lightly. We will see what they can do in only 8 episodes.
Nobody talking about Kang Gook straining Tae Joo's wrist, because he touched his chest? The tension! At this point it's obvious that Kang Gook has a problem with his feeling. I'm just not sure if it is 1) because he thinks Tae Joo does not feel the same, or 2) because he wants to protect him (as a heir of that big company being gay may not be great) or 3) because he thinks he is not worthy (they have a master-servant relationship) or 4) because he himself has a problem with his feelings and doesn't want to accept that he is in love with Tae Joo or a man in general? Who knows. The characters have a lot of potential, though. Tae Joo is flirtatious and playful, but he doesn't seem jealous of the girl. He even hooked Kang Gook up with her. I don't want to get too excited, but the storytelling so far is great and we only saw 20 minutes.
