First 5 episode was a blast, the rest just meeh. From a person who follow this shows from its early episode, I…
Ep 6 was good too, one of my favorites, when Tine realized his feelings and the final scene when they were on the concert ... but after that ... god knows what happened. It became unwatchable for me.

People are always saying they are giving their best. Don't tell me this was "their best"? So many adults and professionals are working on those series, and they cannot come up with something better? They had charismatic actors, good characters (there was HUGE potential), they had some good music, the whole Scrubb theme was pretty nice, they had actors who could even play the guitar for real - and this is the result? The BL genre has a big problem. I'm honestly amazed how bad this got after such a good start. I have never seen a BL series with so much potential. Yes, the idea was silly from the beginning, but there was a lot to love. They could have done so much more with the characters. But they didn't. I'm still confused why the acting became so bad along the way.

I said I could write a better story. Well ...
First of all, don't make everyone gay. This is not realistic. Two brothers being gay? Very unlikely. And here it even happens twice. If you want more gay couples, develop the relationship between Green and P'Dim. Not that I'm a fan of them, but their story was essential to the plot, so develop it properly. I still don't know what was going on between those two. I really loved how they introduced Sarawat's brother in Ep 4. He had great chemistry with Tine and I loved it how he tried to prevent Tine from flirting with Pear. It would have been nice (and funny) to see how Tine develops some kind of relationship with his brother-in-law. But nope. We have to give the brother a (male) love interest too. And it's Mil. Great. In Ep3 we have seen that Sarawat and Tine are VERY different people. Tine is more simple-minded, easy going, Sarawat is more complex, an introvert, an artist. How will this work out? It's a very interesting concept and got me hooked back then. This was the chance to show us some mature storytelling! What we got instead was ... jealousy. Well, okay. I'm not against it per se. Use that plot once, maybe twice, but not in almost EVERY episode. Tine is confused about Sarawat's feeling so he makes him jealous with some random girl we have never seen before (in Ep 6) when Sarawat showed enough jealousy regarding Prea (and even asking Tine not to flirt with her)? Then in Ep 7 suddenly Tine is jealous of Earn (who is Earn?). They should have done two episodes for Ep 7. Sarawat had some great chemistry with Earn, they have a lot in common. It would have been nice to see how Tine is insecure because of her connection with Sarawat. This would also have been a great opportunity to go more into Sarawat's sexuality (because I'm confused about that). This jealousy makes much more sense than Sarawat being jealous of Mil, a guy, Tine dosen't even like or ever talked too. I would have been 100% on board if they went more into the Sarawat-Earn relationship and Tine's reaction. It's hard to see how your boyfriend has so much in common with another person. Of course you will feel insecure! Develop this concept more! Then the "break-up scene" in Ep 7. Why was Tine only wearing a towel? Is this a thing in Thailand to open doors half naked? They also ruined the confession scene by making Earn important (without developing her earlier). Sarawat saying with that sweet voice "Earn has a boyfriend?" to reassure Tine he is in love with him. Who was Earn again? Why does she matter when we haven't seen her in Ep 1-6? They were standing so far apart in that scene too. Yes, Tine is insecure, everything is new to him, but damn! In that scene I felt some tension. Tine was realizing his feeling in Ep 6 (Win's acting was great!), now there was the time to burst out that passion (sorry for my bad English). They should have made Tine kiss Sarawat. I would have been happy with a sloppy and awkward kiss. (The kiss in Ep 5 was great for example. Desperate, sloppy, but great.) There was so much potential to develop Tine's character at this point. To make him more lively (like he was at the beginning). Confused, jealous - okay, fine! But since they are together he lacks any energy and is stuck in this shy, insecure "bottom" role. So, what happened next? Suddenly Sarawat gets beaten up. I don't want to go into that silly plot. Mil again. What's the purpose of this character anyways? That Sarawat can show us his alpha male behavior? AS A WOMAN I'm creeped out by it. I'm not even joking. I don't think this is romantic, it makes me feel very uncomfortable. Then the violence gets so bad that Sarawat injures his leg (Jesus!). I'm not against the Man&Type romance, btw, but don't make Type Tine's brother (he can be his cousin, why not?). Suddenly they are living together, but don't behave like a couple at all. Jokes about condom bouquets when they didn't even have a proper kiss where BOTH moved their lips. Strange. One real kiss (nothing too passionate is needed) would have been enough to show us those two are a couple. Later on you can go into the domestic-cute-fluffy-stuff. But nope. Insecurity and jealousy again. Btw: I thought Sarawat is gay? Now he is bi? This is a mess. They should have done only ten episodes. Slow down the pace, develop the characters and storylines you have better (the casting is great, I love all the female actors), give it some time, make it deeper. Show us how a relationship slowly develops. Show us how those characters GROW! Make Tine stronger, more confident. Let him care for his boyfriend (and not only vice versa). But no. We got some typical "seme/uke" BL couple that doesn't show any kisses/touches. Everyone is talking about skinship. It's needed! Why is it not appropriate to show a proper kiss, but I have to look at the naked body of Sarawat and Tine again and again? I have seen their abs at least three times now. I think those scene are very sexual, but a kiss is too much? Funny how we don't see them half-naked since they are together. As if they want to prevent us from seeing their skin touching. Sigh.

People are calling this comment misogynistic.. now I could be wrong but I don't think they meant this in a misogynistic…
The problem with the OPs comment is generalizing and saying "I can write better BL" with the implicit that it is because he is a [gay?] man.

I'm a woman and I make a living with novel writing. I think about writing and storytelling DAY and NIGHT. And this story is crap. Period. I don't know in which world someone can think 2gether is well written. I'm too tired to go into detail (like I did before many times), but the plot is repetitive and cliche. I agree with you on TharnType and TOL. Both were terrible written too. The author of 2gether is the same of TOL. No wonder.

I could tell you exactly what I would have changed to make this story better. Like I said: it's not that hard. This is not rocket science. Not everyone is an author, but this became so bad on so many levels like it was written by a teenage girl who fantasizes about cute boys. Maybe it was. Who knows? I'm too lazy to look up the age of the author.

People are calling this comment misogynistic.. now I could be wrong but I don't think they meant this in a misogynistic…
"The truth is that a lot of BL is written by and for straight women. Do we really know the public who enjoys or writes BL series ?"
Yes, we do. I make a living with novel writing and started out with BL stories (my guilty pleasure). The fans are 99% women and most of them are like "We have to fight for gay rights!!! I love BL" and at the same time they are grossed out by lesbian kisses. Of course there are exceptions so people will say "I like lesbian stuff too, this is really about fighting for gay rights" or you will encounter gay men. That happens more by watching those series because many gay men enjoy them (and if it's only to see cute boys being in love, which sometimes worries me because I feel there are a lot of pedophiles around). The written stories appeal much more to women, though. They are full of cliches and badly written. I remember the fanfictions I read 15 years ago. Not much has changed since them. This is trash literature and it isn't getting better. It is a fetish of heterosexual women who want to see a hetero relationship with the strong alpha male and the little girly "uke". One d*ck is great, but we all know two d*cks are better. Watch some fan meetings where women are screaming their lungs out when the actors show fan service. Those aren't lesbians or gay men. As a writer I understood very early, that you cannot survive in this genre if you aren't writing the same crap. Because, like I said, it's a fetish thing. This is not about writing a good story.

"Those female authors with their lack of ideas and inability of writing good love stories are so annoying."seriously?…
I'm not a man. I'm a woman. Misogynistic? Because I have to find everything great what women out there are doing? 99% of BL writers are women and most of the fans are too. Why everyone is always aksing "Who is the uke?" Why are male gay characters calling their male gay partner "wifey"? Why is there a thing like MPREG? Because those authors write cliche characters where one has to be the "man" and the other one has to be the "woman". 2gether was liked by many because those two were "equals", they aren't anymore. Why even bother writing a BL story if you make some kind of hetero fantasy out of it with the only difference that the woman has a d*ck? AS A WOMAN Sarawat's behavior of caring for Tine creeps me out, to be honest. The vibe makes me uncomfortable.

The word "disappointed" cannot even describe what I feel. How could this silly but great and enjoyable series became this stupid, boring, repetitive mess? The chemistry was 1000 and now it's minus 100. Tine looks uncomfortable and miserable and Sarawat seems distant. This series went downhill with ep 7 when they introduced Earn just for that silly jealousy plot (again, jealousy!) and showed Tine naked in the emotional break-up scene (fan service, yeah, like I have to be horny to appreciate the emotional scene more) and this badly directed confession scene where they were standing apart 6 feet, not knowing how to act and what to feel. Since then we only got filler episodes with no plot (or a stupid plot). I will pretend this series ended with ep 6 and live happily ever after. Those two don't look like a couple at all. It's not about kisses, they don't even touch each other properly and when they do it looks strange.

Since I'm not the only one who is disappointed in this series A RANT: I hate the alpha male behavior from Sarawat and Mil. "You can't take care of your boy" - Your boy? Taking care? What's that supposed to mean? Why should Sarawat be the only one who takes care of his boy(friend)? They should take care of each other! I loved the scenes in Ep 1 and Ep 2 when Sarawat patted Tine's head. But know I feel like he is patting a dog. The spark is gone and all because of terrible writing. Win was always my favorite but I feel he is struggling with the character lately. The humor is gone (his biggest strength), his bold attitude is gone (his other strength), now he only has to act as a lost puppy (literally!). That said, they are going around in circles like I complained weeks ago. Alpha male behavior, jealousy, insecurity, some revelations, love declarations, cute boys being cute, jealousy, insecurity, alpha male behavior, revelations, cute boys being cute etc. This series had so much potential, it's a shame. Those female authors with their lack of ideas and inability of writing good love stories are so annoying. Honestly, it's really not that hard to write a decent love story. Give me that damn script and I would have done a better job! Oh, and now Tine's brother is gay too. Yeah. Gay brothers everywhere.

Same here. Where is Mr. Chic from the earlier episodes? The confident guy who does cheerleading to get some girls? The one who introduced himself in such a bold way back then in episode 1? I still see him sitting with his friends all confident and thinking about a plan to get rid of Green. Now he became a little puppy who gets lost in the woods.

Actually the whole drama ain't about them being straight XDWe have known about their sexuality since the start…
It has all to do with the shipping. Why are people even interested in his girlfriend? What do people expect from her? She is an adult, he is an adult. She has the right to say whatever she wants. Is he now supposed to break up with her? Should he show her her place? What kind of patriarchy is that? Or apologizing for her? Imagine you don't like a western actor because you don't like his wife? Talking about wives, what does a girlfriend of a 22 years old boy even matter? Is he married with her and has two children? Those hardcore fans are just luring in the dark, stalking her and waiting for a possibility to attack her. People always ask on every YouTube video about Bright&Win "Are they together?", "Do they have a girlfriend?" It's crazy, it's toxic, it's stupid. The shipping will be hardcore with those two and nothing good will come from it. "We have known about their sexuality since the start and no one has problem with it." Really? On MDL someone told me Bright is bi or confused about his sexuality. Whatever they say, people will ship them.

THE DRAMA IS HERE! Jesus ... I had such a bad feeling about Bright & Win from the very beginning. Those two are straight like an arrow, maybe one of them is bi-curious, that's it. But people are getting crazy because of their chemistry (which is always strongest if two obviously straight guys are acting in a BL series - it reminds me of Heroin/Addicted). Yeah, yeah ... this will get ugly. If not now, then later. I saw that the GMMTV youtube channel gained half a million new subscribers since this series aired. Imagine ... Their popularity is INSANE. They are BIG. And the bigger they are, the bigger the drama will get. Bright was too open lately about his feelings towards Win. He is in general too open about falling in love with a guy and everything. They should be more cautious. It's just always the same sh*t. I don't know why nobody can learn from this. I honestly don't see a future for this "couple" in the industry. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Sarawat is the only "good" character who did not make any mistake until now (as far as I remember). He is very gentle, very soft, very considerate. He explained it well in the confession scene why he didn't tell him the truth, so I don't really have a problem with how this was resolved. But about Green ... his story is just strange. There is also the thing that Tine's friends wanted to scare Green by pretending to beat him up. I guess it's a common thing in Thailand that some guys go around beating others up. Sigh. You can overlook those things once (the scene was pretty funny "Are you Green or John Wick"), twice, but then it really gets difficult. I also don't like how girls are portrayed. Even the bossy girl who teaches the cheerleaders or the cool girl of the music club are reduced to crazy Sarawat fangirls. Again: you can enjoy this once, twice but it's getting tiring. Girls screaming everywhere when a supposedly hot guy takes off his shirt ... sigh. Those girls have no life and no dignity. What message is this? Aren't they smart students who are working hard? But then they are reduced to women who go crazy over some hot guys.

Everyone in this series is showing some very questionable and immature behavior but because it's a romcom they can get away with it. Green is manipulative and selfish (but he must be protected because he is a Tootsie ... sigh), Tine tried to trick him with a fake boyfriend, Wat tricked Tine by getting along with it while knowing Green wasn't serious, Green was stalking Tine and flirting with him just to get back at his boyfriend (I mean ... come on!), Man is stalking his crush and tricking him by pretending to be a cute girl (this is the start of a serious relationship for sure), everyone is jealous or trying to make someone else jealous which is not only very immature but can be hurtful. The group of friends is just there for comic relief. They want to get Tine away from Wat but I'm sure they will be very supportive of this relationship in the next couple episodes. Their idea of love and relationships is very shallow. Now Wat gets beaten up by some guys because one of their girlfriends is liking his IG-posts. WTF? What kind of society is this? Who are those guys? I have seen similar storylines in other thai BL but here I feel they mixed everything together. This series is lacking any emotional depths. The only redeeming qualities are Win and Bright with their acting. You can feel there is some real affection between those two. The characters have distinctive personalities and the relationship develops very nicely. That said, I don't like how much Win and Bright get hyped up. Nothing good will ever come from that. I wonder how long it takes until their first big scandal. Seeing people talking about Bright's girlfriend is just the beginning. Those two are so different, but then again it's just always the same sh*t . Even their parents are now posting pictures of those two on social media. They are all blinded by the money.

I lately thought a lot about their chemistry and their kissing. First of all, I loved the confession-kiss in ep 7. It was really sweet. Still their kisses look a lot like they are only pressing lips. The funny thing is that in the BTS scenes and if you watch the kisses in slow motion you can clearly see that they kiss in a completely normal (not awkward) way. So I must say I blame the director for making it look like that. Those kisses remind me a lot of the Pete&Kao kisses in Kiss Me Again The Series, and the director was the same. Now I really wonder what they will show us in the future, how cute they will be together, what kind of kisses (if any) we will get. Talking about the chemistry I start to think that it's mostly because of Bright's deep stares and his whole presence that they are so good together. Bright has chemistry with everyone. He had chemistry with that new girl even though they only had a few scenes together. Win on the other hand had no chemistry with Prea. I love Win (he is my favorite) and I enjoy his very natural acting, but I feel like he is trapped in the "shy-bottom-role". When I imagine him and Bright/Sarawat kissing I always see Win/Tine taking the initiative for some reason. Bright is just too sweet, too soft. He isn't playing the forceful top convincingly (which is great because I don't like such characters), so I wonder how it will be when Tine finally (!) closes his eyes and kisses Sarawat back. Despite Sarawat looking at Tine with those heart eyes they have some buddy-chemistry going on, mostly because Tines didn't show much romantic interest in Sarawat until now, which is understandable and makes perfect sense. But at the moment I'm not sure if they will use this couple to their full potential or keep it down and play it safe. And I'm not talking about some explicit scenes, I'm talking about Tine/Win showing us how much he is in love and breaking out from the "shy-bottom-role". Win could do that for sure, but I feel like it's not in the script.
