This is so depressing. Imagine being stuck in those boring marriages with those boring and uninteresting men. Unfortunately, this was and is a reality for most women.
Didn't he say after K2 he is done with action dramas? I'm glad he changed his mind. In my humble opinion, he isn't doing well in romantic dramas, he is too awkward and fidgety. But he is perfect for action/thriller roles. The awkwardness makes his characters so mysterious and raw.
Ive been wondering wether to start this or not. Is it very brutal? I dont mind violence on screen as long as its…
I called it a torture porn, because I see no need for this amount of violence. I skipped the last scenes in ep 4, and I didn't miss anything. In The Worst of Evil the violence was never unnecessary. It was an essential part of the story. In this series, though, we have seen our main characters fighting a bloody fight in ep 2 (which I liked a lot), now he gets beaten up again and again, blood, fighting, I get it. Can we move on? I was just looking at the screen and thinking: no, thanks, I don't want to see that. I mean, I already knew he wouldn't die. So why do I have to watch him getting beaten up in such detail AGAIN?
I wrote that comment 5 minutes before the end credits rolled. Yes, he is dead. But I'm sure a similar annoying f*cker will be presented in the next episodes. That blond guy with the face tattoo is also such a little sh*t. I enjoy a good villain, but such characters go on my nerves, which most likely is the whole point.

No graphic scenes? Are we judging by American standards where a nipple need to be censored, but ripping out someone's gut is just fine? There are many brutal and bloody scenes. Edit: Not that someone's gut got ripped out in this series. I was just talking about censorship.
Torture porn. How can you guys watch this? I'm not judging. But I have enough after 4 episodes. Especially this little crazy f*cker who gets hard by torturing and killing people is annoying af. I honestly feel sick to my stomach.
I'm so conflicted about this series. I wanted to drop it, but here I am again. Every scene with Saint and Shin is very intense, emotional, beautiful. Those two give me more butterflies than most BL couples. The rest is just not as good. The plot isn't intriguing most of the time. The fighting is tiring, the setting boring (they are mostly in school). And, to be honest, despite loving Shin and Saint, I don't know what to think about this "friendship". It's too emotional, too dramatic, too intense to be just a "friendship". Normally, romantic relationships have this level of intensity, drama and emotions. Blame hormones. I don't think normal friendships, even deep friendships, are like this. That doesn't mean I'm thirsty for BL. I constantly think, I would enjoy it more, or find it more believable, if those two were brothers. Because brother relationships are also very intense, complicated and emotional loaded. Well, that's just my two cents. Again, very conflicted about this series. Kudos to the actors, though. Those two have a bright future ahead of them.
I'm a bit disappointed by the most helpful reviews shown on this side. They only talk about the chemistry/pairing. The strength of this series is the tight plot, the very emotional writing especially regarding the ghost stories, the deep portrayal of the friendships, the tension, the twists, the fun, the good music and cinematography. There is just much more to it than Tay and New, even though those two are doing a terrific job.
Doesn't make sense. He talks well. He must have had full hearing before, otherwise this is not possible. Maybe he got deaf later in life, or he lost his hearing gradually.
The 2nd couple creeps me out. The boy looks like 14. I had to look up the real age of the actor. The teacher looks like 30. I don't understand why Taiwan is so much into age gaps. The 1st couple is pretty intense and angsty, though. Overall it's a nice and interesting series, but again, the 2nd couple ... ugh.
I am so disapointing 😭 I really had high expectation after reading reviews but I just can't watch this. I can't…
The screaming is only in the first two episodes. I put it on mute, since I had a heavy migraine when I started watching it. But this is a very emotional and deep series. Home's character is the most likable of the bunch. You will learn that the longer you watch, which is proof of the great writing.
I'm glad he changed his mind.

So yes, it sure is worth your time. At least, I enjoyed it. I just thought it could have been even better.
I watched The Worst of Evil lately, and had no issues.
This is literally rated 18+
There are many brutal and bloody scenes.

It's about friendship. There are 4 main characters. All relationships between them are well portrayed. Siblings relationship too.
I wanted to drop it, but here I am again.
