Can I be honest? This looks and feels like a low quality series. The flow just isn't right. The directing, the editing - I don't like it. The actors aren't anything special, but strangely enough, they have an alluring charm. I like Keen, sometimes I enjoy his acting a lot, sometimes I don't think it's very good. Same for Than. Overall, he plays the role well, but he isn't an outstanding actor. Both have good chemistry, though. The older actors are terrible, like always in BL series. I don't know where they find those people. The plot has potential though, but I have no idea where they are going with the couples. Maybe that's the reason why I'm still invested. The main couple fought so much this episode, I was thinking how they will fix this. The next moment they apologize, then there is tension again. It's not that I didn't see the romance between them, but I was constantly wandering, how they will fix this relationship and where this is going. Then they kissed, which I didn't expect so early. But I liked it, since we already could feel there is something between them, it just didn't seem like it would work out so easily. I'm not criticizing the writing here, I think those characters being so unpredictable is the reason, why I still enjoy it. So well, lets see where this is going. It feels different somehow, new and exciting.
For all those people who are gushing over this first episode saying this is good for Thai BL, the acting is great, this is on another level: watch Be My Favorite. It has the same vibe. Mostly because of Krist's acting, but also regarding the production quality. Singto is the better actor than Gawin, though, but the writing is most likely better in Be My Favorite. We will see. But seriously, same vibe. Phi reminds me a lot of the not so great future version of Kawi. Aou is there too.
The plot is unique, the main actors are good, the chemistry is chemistrying. The production, overall writing and direction are terrible. Terrible. In better hands, this plot could be fire. But nope. It's a cheap BL production with terrible older actors, cringy crying, ridiculous loan sharks and police men, ridiculous situations etc. They aren't even trying.
I couldn't care less what people love or not love, but it has to be studied why so many are so charmed by those…
There is nothing to explain. I find both actors neither charming nor attractive. Their acting, their body language, their voices, even their smiles are not to my liking. I'm picky when it comes to storytelling, but I'm easily charmed by actors. Those two just aren't doing it for me.
I'm trying to understand how this has 8.7. stars. I'm on episode 3, and I'm so bored. There's barely a plot and…
I couldn't care less what people love or not love, but it has to be studied why so many are so charmed by those two. Worst couple I have ever seen, and I watch BL for 10 years.
For all those who keep saying that the series doesn't deserve the rating (and i know many of them are going crazy…
I find both actors extremely cringy, it makes me uncomfortable watching them. How they deliver their lines, even their voices, I hate it. Especially the black haired guy's voice makes my fingernails curl. There must be some sorcery going on, that people are so into them. Don't know about "big budget series" – it's not my business how well other series are doing or not. No hate here, but I'm baffled how those two can be so popular. Good for them, though!
The FL ended up sleeping with the SML in episode 5. Some may say the SML forced himself on her, but I do not see…
Were you drunk when watching it? It was the older sister. This is essential to the plot!!!!! What happened between the older sister and the SML is the reason for her suicide, which then again is the reason, why the FL joined the company and how she behaved towards the ML. You clearly skipped many parts, and didn't watch it properly. Then please don't comment on it, if you don't understand the story.
I think you’re missing something. It’s not about ‘fair’ fight. Union bullies steal things and bully people…
I was specifically talking about the fights Si Eun was in: 1) against his new friend, 2) against Seong Je, 3) against the "main villain" of s2. Those three fought fair. This is not a question who is the good guy, and who is the bad guy. Of course, Si Eun wouldn't seek violence by himself. But if you try to get into his head for a second, you must wonder where this will to kill is coming from. And there is a will to kill, even if it means to be killed himself. If I remember correctly, the first brutal scene in s1 was when he put a curtain over the head of a classmate and hit his head with a book. You think this is normal? I was bullied at school too, but I never had such violent thoughts. I find this disturbing, and I'm convinced most viewers don't grasp the deepness of this series, because they alienate themselves from it too much. It's just an entertaining story for them at the end of the day. I wouldn't want to be friends with Si Eun, I can tell you that. He is a psychopath in my books.
I'm not hating on this series, don't get me wrong. It's very suspenseful with good acting and good fights. But I feel there is not much substance and the whole story is more "fantasy" than everything else. That said, I have a serious question: Are you guys thinking the main lead is a good guy? I don't remember everything from s1, but I remember how the title was fitting: weak hero. He didn't have the physical strength or the skills for fighting. He fought with his brain, and his will to survive. He fought for his friends. In s2 I felt like he got physically stronger, and his fighting style - woah. Like his new friend said: He is a sneaky a**hole. He fights dirty, and his advantage is the will to kill the other person. That's why he almost can't be defeated. He doesn't hesitate to cause some serious harm. When he was fighting with Seong Je, the guy took the pen from him and threw it away. He could have used it as a weapon, but he didn't. His opponents don't use weapons, which would make them stronger. They are fighting with their abilities and their strength. I enjoyed s2 more than s1, but I must say: There is something seriously wrong with Si Eun, and he is not the poor victim. In s1 I could see how he was driven to extremes, because of this endless cycle of violence. He didn't ask for it. Everything got out of control. In s2 I thought he himself was the one who was too extreme. I know he has a trauma, but still.
I'm glad it's over, but I felt the same with s1. It's like a train wreck, you can't look away, but I never enjoyed this series. The whole violence seems pointless from start to finish, but that's the plot. Violence leads to more violence and so on and on and on. At least his friend survived, even though I highly doubt, someone who wakes up from a years long coma is behaving like this.
Thank you!
I just started it, but this is gold.
So well, lets see where this is going.

Can you believe it?
Miracles still happen.
One of the most successful BL series, back then they were pioneers in the genre
