Very good first episode, but what is the plot?
Unfortunately, I'm not really into idols and all the hardship they are going through. Still, the 1st episode was pretty great, but is this the whole conflict? If Thame will be a solo artist or if he will continue with the group? Is this the plot? It seems to me that you can resolve this issue in a single episode. I mean, the 1st episode didn't disappoint, but how are they continuing? You don't need 13 episodes to tell us this story.

Honestly, they should get paired with other actors. I liked First with Khatotung in The Eclipse, I liked First with Gawin in Not Me, I liked First with Mix in Moonlight Chicken. Call me crazy, but I think I would enjoy Khaotung with Joong, even though it will never happen.
They are great actors, but their couple dynamics and chemistry aren't exciting enough to carry this ship any longer.

That said, I'm falling out of love lately. I wasn't fond of their characters in Only Friends, Heart Killers is even worse. I don't find their love scenes hot, rather awkward. The characters they play in this series are not likable at all. There is something about Kant that annoys me and turns me off. Bison is just crazy, but not in a good way. Joong and Dunk on the other hand manage to portray their characters, so no one can hate them. Especially Dunk was criticized a lot for his acting, but he is charming. Their love scenes are very, very good. Their performance is emotional and intense. First time in my life I understand why this couple is so loved. I also look forward to the plot, because it's surprisingly intriguing.
But yeah ... FirstKhao aren't doing it for me anymore. And seeing their next project is about them playing with cats that can talk or whatever ... sigh.

I'm a big TayNew fan since 2018. I love their friendship and chemistry. But I don't really like their series. DBK was too much of a soap opera, Kao as a character too weak and annoying. In Cherry Magic it's even worse. I always wished for New to play a more confident and more sassy character. That's why I loved Peaceful Property so much.
But I was never blown away by their kisses. They always seemed so heavily directed, not very natural, almost forced. At the same time, I never felt like they disliked kissing each other. The underwater kiss in DBK was the only one that felt real.
But the bed scene in Cherry Magic ... so natural, so intimate, so playful. Btw, I don't think they are underrated. The Polca fandom is very big and very loyal.

I didn't like the plot. Weak Class Hero, High school Return of a Gangsta etc. - it doesn't appeal to me. But every scene with Saint and Shin was beautifully filmed. Acting, cinematography, music - PERFECT. Very, very beautiful. It deserves the high rating.

JoongDunk are fighting for their right as main characters. I remember Only Friends, the first trailer and announcements. Everyone thought First and Khaoutung are only side characters, but they took over and completely out-shined BookForce story, even though Book was the center of everything, the character who had connections to everyone else, basically he was the main character.
JoongDunk are much stronger in this series.
I'm not a fan of them, but they are not stepping down and that's good.
