For me, the best thing of the whole episode was Tattoo's face when he had to deal with Arun. I like the actor. He is not unattractive at all, but he isn't your typical pretty boy. He looks so beaten down, and then Arun with his sassy girly rich boy attitude and that pretty face is just an exciting combination.
Not a fan of the grandma in this episode. The conversation "Top or bottom" "There is blood" - what's there to smile about? Did she think they had anal sex and Joker was bleeding? I felt like someone put me into a time machine, it's the early 2000s again, when this was a thing. Made me uncomfortable.
Jack and Joker are now in their soft boyfriend era. It's not surprising, we saw it coming. I still hoped for more tension between them. When I think about it, I would like it better, if Joker had been more mischievous like Tattoo. When he had been a bad thief who changed over time, reflects about his actions, because of Jack. So there is more conflict. But they made him the Robin Hood thief to begin with.
Still liking it, but it's sloooooooowwwwww.

New can NOT be NOT cute. He does it effortlessly. So why emphasizing his cuteness to a point, where it's so cringy? But I'm in the minority, I know, I hated his character in Cherry Magic. But many people seem to love this series.

Peaceful Property needs some more love!

I'm not even mad, because of their fixed roles as top/bottom. But New acting so shy and clumsy and forced cute? I'm just so done with it. Make him a power bottom at least. It holds him back in his acting skills. In this series, you can clearly see how much emotional range he has. I didn't know that, since I cringe too hard when he looks like a sad puppy.
I mean that scene at the end of episode 7, the look on his face was telling more than 1000 words. I'm very impressed by his acting. He outshines Tay in this series. I'm feeling a bit bad, because only months ago, I had a discussion on MDL why New is so popular when he is just a mediocre actor. He is not.

GMMTV is doing that all the time, though. I came across the series "The Warp Effect" thinking it's a hetero series, but it had a crazy BL couple in it. They know what people like, so they insert in many "straight" dramas BL couple, or in BL dramas some girl love.

I prefer a series like this, where they show their great acting and behave like actual human beings with good chemistry and no other love interests.
I'm mad at them for giving us those cheesy soap operas with those unnatural behaving characters that are cringy like hell.
If they will ever do a cool BL series, where New doesn't play the shy bottom, where they both have strong characters, I will hype it to the heavens and back. I will celebrate it religiously. I'm not gonna lie, my stupid heart hopes that this series will turn slightly BL (the hints are there), and that it will get popular, and so they will finally understand they can try out something different, and people will love it. There is no need to be stuck in those boring series. Like OffGun, for whatever reason, are now stuck in those boring cooking/trainee series. The holy trinity is still strong. I'm hyped for KristSingto, especially Krist is such a good actor. Those couples got famous for a reason. The old fans are still there, new fans like them too. Just show some courage!

It's thai humor, but it's done right.
How they manage to tell those ghost stories in such a short amount of time and in such an emotional way is top quality. When you make the viewers cry and laugh in the same episode, in every episode, well, it's good.
I mean, I don't care if you like it or not, I'm not here to defend this series, but you don't find this quality of storytelling often.

This series is not trashy. It has one of the best storytelling I have seen in a while. Very high quality production. Just get over the screaming in the first two episodes.

I have seen the kiss yesterday, since I looked for recent clips of TayNew. Don't know what to think about this. I remember Tay and First were also very touchy when I watched Safe House.
I don't care who is with who in a relationship, but I would prefer they stop doing those things, and just promote their ship. I mean, if TayGun or TayFirst make a BL series, I'm here for it. Then go and promote your ship! But I'm not a fan of those behind the scenes ghost ships who just cause trouble and are annoying.

TayGun is a thing? Didn't know that.

I didn't even know GMMTV can make such a good series. The acting, the music, the storytelling (!!), everything is good.

It's not a tearjerker. It's just very well written and pretty emotional, but in a good way. It's not tragic, it's moving. People are exaggerating.

I thought this is a Thai (BL) thing, but I'm watching currently Peaceful Property with TayNew, and the editing is just perfect. I'm honestly impressed how interesting, funny, emotional and well-made this series is. GMMTV still got it.
Back to Jack&Joker: They could have done a better job with the editing for sure. Still enjoyable series. I wonder if they will release the cut version. Can't find it anywhere.

I'm confused. This feels and looks like a BL series. In the very first trailer, Home had a girlfriend. I thought both boys would have a love interest in this series, but nope.
Then they are teasing us with the "playing hard to get" and "get back together" and "I called him hundred times before" etc.
I have seen TayNew play the couple often enough, I'm not that thirsty, but I'm really confused. Their chemistry is very special, we all know it. What are they planning to do?
Btw, New's acting is great in this series.

How can you compare those two dramas? Because the actors are the same? The genre is completely different. It's like you compare Theory of Love with Not Me.

He tricked him and gave him hope. SPOILER: We later discover Jack is in high debt, because of the failed business of his parents. There is no chance he can pay it back, so he promised the Boss to work for him. Something like that.
Joker gave him hope, and he is mad, because of that.
Think about that whatever you want. But that's the plot.

But it works. I myself complained about Joker not being a brilliant thief but rather a con man with a low success rate. But the success rate isn't so low. They get things done :)

The bad editing (too long, too short, strange cuts, no cuts) and the not-so-smooth transition between scenes which causes issues with the storytelling is the most apparent flaw of this series.
But Thai BLs tend to be like this for whatever reason.
