I rewatched this episode, but it's not getting better. Honestly, nobody complains about that silly plot? How a thread of Q's sweater got entangled with Min's watch ... that's a scene straight out of some children's animation movie. Something like that just doesn't happen. Call it nit-picking, but those expensive clothes don't have loose threads, it also must be a thread at the bottom, then Q didn't notice it, until half his stomach was naked? This is so silly on so many levels, that I'm speechless. The next questionable plot development: those guys aren't gangsters. So now they kidnap a boy, and then Min is supposed to shoot him. You know what went through my head in that moment? What am I supposed to do with the corpse? Even if he has the guts to kill the guy (like everyone is just a killer or what, no problem), what then? Those things just tell you, that the writing team isn't smart. Watching the preview, it seems they are getting closer pretty fast. The whole kidnapping plot only seems to be there to start this story in some cool way.
I seen some people say that Q's acting is really bad....and I can kinda see where they are coming from (I didn't…
I had the biggest issue with Ohm's acting. Perhaps because I expected too much, since I know he is supposed to be good? I couldn't connect to the character at all. Sometimes his performance felt forced and empty.
I mostly agree with you, I feel like I watched something totally different to everyone else. I think it's important…
I still have hopes for this series, but it wasn't as smooth as I thought it would be. The flow, the pace, the writing, the whole plot - it's a bit off.
I must have watched a different series than everyone else. The plot is very weak and unrealistic. The background music and noises are very distracting. The acting wasn't convincing either, not bad, but nothing mind-blowing. The best thing about this: Leng is looking beautiful, and his acting is good enough. It seems this is becoming some kind of rom-com. What a strange genre-mix. I'm not feeling this series at all. Those slow motion scenes were embarrassing. It also looks like Min is already falling for Q. This is too fast.
I don't have high hopes for this series. It's the kind of series that starts veeeery slow, to the point, you have a hard time getting into it. Then it finally kicks off. The acting is good, the storytelling is nice, but sooner or later this will all fall apart, because the story of the main couple will be already told. The characters won't change over time like in many Korean romance drama, where we get the same scenes, dynamics and facial expressions until the bitter end, so you almost start to get annoyed by them. They will add a lot of unnecessary drama, and - watching the trailer - it seems there is another gay story too. There are too many characters, none of them are very interesting. Not to mention, that it doesn't look like the main characters will have any NC scenes. People always complain about NC scenes in thai BL. The sexy scenes aren't the problem, the problem is that most of the time the story is weak, the characters have not much chemistry, or you don't even know why they are in love, there is no build-up. So in this series we have plenty of build-up, good chemistry, but then they keep it so innocent. Yes, it's a high school setting, I know. But it's frustrating not having those scenes when everything else is there. You just can't have both or what. I strongly feel that the rest of the series will be exactly like those 4 episodes: slow, soft, with the same facial expressions, no real character development, too many distractions, because of too many characters and boring side-stories, no thrill. It the series had been shorter, this would be a nice watch to kill some time. But those long episodes, and 12 of them?

You call Sigh shallow? You clearly think the amount of money celebrities get for their work is deserved. It's not. There are professions in this world that are heavily overpaid, and that says someone like me, a writer, who is also overpaid, I admit it. I have seen people doing some very hard physical work who earn half of what I earn. I don't care about your worshiping of celebrities, but the whole "they have earned it" - that's shallow. At least understand that, like I said, some people get overpaid and some underpaid. That's honestly a pretty big issue in this world, that important jobs don't get enough attention and aren't as well paid, while jobs, that honestly, aren't that important (like mine, again, I admit it), are paid so much better. We need a teacher, a nurse, a handyman much more than we need a celebrity.
Is the same usual overacting, u will get pass it just ignore lol.
How the young guy who got to prison reacted reminded me a lot of Ji Sung in Defendant, where I also thought the acting (with the screaming and all) was a bit too generic and too much. Then his parents: I know both actors. I never liked the one who plays the father, the actor is always making strange faces. I love the mother, but I swear to god she is in every damn series I watch. While I normally like her performance, when you see her too often, it just feels the same. I watched the uncle/police officer in Parasyte lately, I liked him, especially those rather depressing expressions he has. But watching this, I feel it's the same character. It feels like watching a bunch of people/characters you have already seen a dozen times somewhere else.
Bible was never penetrated in his life, that's for sure, and apparently he lacks the imagination how that may feel like. But Jes played the hell out of this sex scene.
The age of consent in Thailand is 15. We don't know how intense this story will be. The "child" is a veteran actor.
He had his first main role at the age of 10/11. If this had been a low quality production with a new actor they most likely found on the streets and casted because of his good looks - then yeah, very fishy. He is in the business for a long time. If his manager, parents etc. agreed to it, then what do you want to do other than spreading hate, which will help for sure. You, not him! You feel better, because you're the moral winner. This is pointless.

What are you fighting for? I think you're a minor in Thailand until age 20. If nobody in his circle (manager, parents, etc.) is able to talk him out of this, so what? How is that our responsibility? This is just spreading pointless hate. It's not illegal, so it's Thailand's responsibility to change the laws, not ours.
Regarding the entertainment value, this was a solid 10/10 for me. But I see why the rating is rather low. They didn't explore the characters and the plot well enough. It's not that they didn't have enough time, especially in the last episode, everything was dragged out and felt repetitive. It was more like they didn't have enough ideas. The main characters' issues and relationships were well portrayed, but the others were lacking. The relationship between the police woman and her son, the relationship between her son and the gangster friend. Especially the gangster friend seemed to be an interesting character, but at the end he lacked depth. He was just angry and violent. There was so much beating going on for no reason. Everything felt so half-baked. I hope for s2, and I would watch it for sure. Like I said, I was highly entertained, and I would still rate it with a solid 8. Btw: I love the main actor since D.P. The guy is so much fun to watch.
I think it was a good choice to make her like that. She lost her husband and went crazy. It was obvious she was traumatized. The way she played it - not bad.

I thought we got over the toxic shipping years ago.
I'm worried about his acting.

I have no issues with sex scenes, but I don't like shallow characters and a non-existing plot.
