Half assed ... exactly. And people are always so butt hurt when you point it out. Those series could be mind-blowing good, but they don't try hard enough. This is so strange to me. Put in a tiny (!) bit more effort in the writing and editing. Not a lot of effort, a tiny effort! The writing isn't even the biggest issue I have with this series, it's more the editing. It feels like they filmed some scene from different directions and put the same shots together.
I felt ep 2 wasnt as strong or good as ep 1. -ppl usually complain about those loud bgms in other series, but…
The writing is as horrible as in Kidnap. I have no idea why they don't think more about the story. You pointed out a lot of things. How did you do it? You used your f*cking brain. You thought it through. I mean, come on, no idea why those Thai BL action writers are so lame. I really don't understand it. They have a budget for nice locations, some good actors, and then they just put together some random scenes in such a clumsy way with the only purpose of making it look cool. I don't really care. I'm here for the characters and the acting, but it wouldn't be that hard to create a better series. Joker is more of a con man with a low success rate than a great thief. If not for War's acting and charisma, this series would be silly.
On1y One isn't that great. Watch The Time Of Fever, similar vibes, but better. That one really is a masterpiece.…
You can't be serious ... So from now on I have to write "I think, it's not that great" or "In my opinion it's not that great" or "I don't like it that much, but that's just me (and my humble opinion)" New netiquette on MDL? I didn't even say it's bad, because it isn't. But it's not a masterpiece or "that great" like I said (in my very humble opinion of course who nobody has to share). Happy now? You know, I'm a writer myself, sold half a million books. Do you have any idea how many bad reviews I got in my life? How many reviews that can really crush a person when they sh*t on your work mercilessly? Do you think I should now sit in a corner and cry about it? You said, you didn't find Times Of Fever great. When I read that, I felt nothing. It doesn't concern me. Tastes are different. So yeah, I wonder for an eternity now, why people are always so defensive and so quick to fight for their favorite show when I'm myself not even that concerned when people hate my books, my work, my soul, my passion. It's not that serious at the end of the day. You don't see me writing negative comments on the On1y One page and whining about how I'm trying to watch it for the 5th time, but I'm just not getting into it, and personally, in my humble opinion, this hype about it is exaggerated, in my opinion that I am glad I'm free to share here on this site as an opinion of course. Now I'm petty, I know.
But i don't think he has a small body, he has an average body size but his height makes him appear somehow small
He has a good body, perfect proportions. It's just that he is rather small, and we all know the entertainment industry wants handsome and tall (!) guys. He can't play an action hero either, a fighter or a warrior in a fantasy series, so this role as Joker, the sly thief, is just perfect!

I have no idea why people get so defensive when it comes to On1y One. It's almost a cult like following. "Don't dare not like that great series!" - something like this. Nobody stops you from liking it.
This couple is insane. Kim Dong Hee as a gay boy was 100% believable. There was something so soft and tender about him. Go Ho Tae looks like the straightest boy who ever walked on earth, but how he showed his emotions towards Kim Dong Hee it was 100% believable how much he was into him. That's what I like: a believable gay story with believable attraction you can feel through the screen. That's how you do it. My trust in Korean BL is restored.
Can't get over War's acting. He is so talented, but let's be real, with his height and small body he won't get many lead roles in (hetero) dramas. So glad he found his place in the BL industry.

That's not what I meant. But if one character is openly gay/bisexual that gives toxic fans even more motivation to ship them. Well, if I think about it, maybe it's the opposite. Straight-like-an-arrow bl couples get the most attention.

"Nothing controversial about them" Isn't War openly bisexual? Those two remind me a bit of MaxTul, who were drama free for the longest time, but apparently after Manner Of Death that changed. Let's hope YinWar stays strong.

Did you watch the Time Of Fever? Most beautiful BL I have seen in my long ass 8 year BL watching career.
Jack and Joker deserves at least 8.5.

Hahaha!
This must be a bug.
